
Women to lead Kalash Yatra across Ayodhya ahead of temples' Pran Pratishtha
Lucknow: From Prayashchit Karm Puja in the afternoon, followed by a grand Kalash Yatra—led by hundreds of women—a series of religious ceremonies and rituals would take place on Monday, eve of the Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav of the newly constructed temples on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir complex, said officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra,

According to official of the media centre, Onkar Singh, women will collect sacred Sarayu water in ceremonial pots and move in a Kalash Yatra from the riverbank to the Yagyamandap.
The journey will begin from eastern end of the old Sarayu bridge and pass through Veena Chowk, Ram Path, Shringar Haat, Hanuman Garhi, Dashrath Mahal, Ramkot and Rangmahal Barrier, culminating at the Yagyashala by 6:30pm.
The Prayashchit Puja will take place from 3pm to 4:30pm.
The rituals are being coordinated by prominent Yajnacharyas Jayaprakash Tripathi from Kashi, Chandra Bhanu Sharma from Delhi and Amarnath Brahma from Basti. They will be joined by 101 Ritviks from Prayagraj, Kashi, Devprayag, Haridwar, Jammu, Delhi, Kanpur, Kolkata and Ayodhya.
According to Shailendra Shukla, appointed by the temple trust, the Yagyashala has been prepared and all necessary arrangements and materials are in place for the sacred event. The main Anushthan Vidhi will commence at 6:30 am on Tuesday.

Kalash Yatra to highlight spirit of Op Sindoor
Varanasi: The colours of Operation Sindoor will be evident during the traditional Kalash Yatra of Nirjala Ekadashi here on Friday. Amidst the waving of national tricolours, water from the Sindh, Jhelum, Chenab and Ravi rivers apart from Sangam will be offered to Lord Vishwanath. Water from the Sindhu, Chenab, Jhelum and Ravi rivers has already reached reached Kashi, they added. A total of 1,008 women will fill their urns with the Gangajal and the water received from these four rivers at Dashaswamedh Ghat at 6.30 am. UP: 62,000 prasad boxes dispatched from Lucknow for Ram Darbar Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya

Kshitij Gupta, Marketing Head, Chhappan Bhog, spoke to ANI and said, 'We are very grateful to have received this opportunity to send prasad to Ayodhya. We have made Barfi with a mixture of chickpeas and Moongdal. Sixty-two thousand boxes of prasad are being sent from Lucknow for the Ram Darbar Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Speaking to ANI on Saturday, Mayor Tripathi said that discussions regarding the ban had been ongoing for a long time. 'It was under discussion for a very long time that the sale of meat be banned in Ayodhya. It was decided that the sale of meat must be prohibited on Ram Path,' said Tripathi. He added that steps would soon be taken to prohibit the sale of liquor in the same areas. 'We are sure that we will soon ban liquor sale too...,' he told ANI. (ANI)
