Missing Child Alert: 14-year-old Bradenton girl still missing after her friend is found safe
BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Wednesday one of two Bradenton teens at the center of a Missing Child Alert was found safe.
However, her companion, 14-year-old Surianneilys Perez-Sanchez, was still missing.

April 2 marked almost a week since the FDLE issued an alert for Perez-Sanchez, who was last seen in the area of Martin Luther King Avenue in Bradenton.
Authorities said she was believed to be traveling to Texas with another 14-year-old girl. The FDLE did not state where the other 14-year-old was found, but investigators suspect that Perez-Sanchez could be in the Pensacola area.
She primarily speaks Spanish, and due to the ongoing investigation, is considered to be endangered, according to officials.
Perez-Sanchez is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 70 pounds and has red hair and brown eyes. She also has piercings in her nose, tongue and abdomen.

Man accused of biting, kicking ICE, DEA officers during arrest in Marlborough
A man arrested in Marlborough is accused of biting, kicking and hitting federal law enforcement officers when he was taken into custody, United States Attorney Leah B. Foley said in a Thursday statement. Guido Andres Cuellar Batres, 24, a Guatemalan national, overstayed his non-immigrant visa by more than four years, leading to an outstanding immigration warrant for his arrest, the statement said. On May 4, three Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and a Drug Enforcement Administration agent conducting surveillance in a Marlborough parking lot spotted Cuellar in the front passenger seat of a car. The officers, wearing law enforcement garments, approached the car and ordered Cuellar to get out of the vehicle, in Spanish and English, according to Foley's statement. He refused and, despite instructions to keep his hands visible, he reached down in the front passenger seat, which led officers to break the rear passenger side window and unlock the front passenger door, according to the statement. The officers removed Cuellar from the vehicle, but he did not cooperate when they tried to handcuff him. According to Foley's statement, Cuellar bit one officer in the hand and another in the leg, hit an officer in the head multiple times, and spat in an officer's face, Foley's statement read. Once he was handcuffed and placed in leg restraints, Cuellar continued to kick at officers, the statement reads. Cuellar is charged with one count of forcibly assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, intimidating or interfering with federal officers engaged in the performance of official duties. He is being held in ICE custody and will appear in federal court in Boston at a date to be determined. 'The charge of forcibly assaulting, resisting, opposing, impeding, intimidating, or interfering with federal officers engaged in the performance of official duties provides for a sentence of up to eight years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000,' the statement reads. Edinburgh emergency services descend on residential block as street locked down
Edinburgh emergency services have sealed off a residential road in Marchmont. Several firefighters were seen entering a tenement block with a cordon erected at the entrance to the road on Saturday afternoon. A number of ambulances and paramedics were also on site as were Police Scotland. Man arrested over murder of two Scots outside Spanish bar
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of two Scots in Spain. Eddie Lyons Jr and Ross Monaghan died after a gunman opened fire outside Monaghans Bar in Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol earlier this month. On Friday, officers from Merseyside Police arrested a 44-year-old man on behalf of Spanish authorities on two counts of murder. He appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday for extradition proceedings and will remain in custody. A spokesperson for the National Crime Agency said: 'On Friday June 13, officers from Merseyside Police arrested a 44-year-old man in the Liverpool area on behalf of the Spanish authorities for two counts of murder. 'The operation was supported by officers from the NCA's National Extradition Unit. 'The individual appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday June 14 for the commencement of extradition proceedings. He was remanded in custody.' The attack took place at around 11pm when a car pulled up outside the bar and a masked man got out before opening fire as the two men stood outside. The gunman fled in the car and both men died at the scene. At the time, Police Scotland said the attack did not appear to be linked with a series of criminal acts by rival groups in Scotland, and that any speculation was 'not helpful' to the investigation. The statement read: 'The investigation into the fatal shootings in Fuengirola is being carried out by Spanish police. 'Police Scotland is supporting Spanish police where requested, however, at this time we have no officers deployed within Spain. 'There is currently no intelligence to suggest the deaths of these two men in Spain are linked to the recent criminal attacks in Scotland being investigated as part of Operation Portaledge. 'Any misinformation or speculation linking the events in Spain are not helpful to the ongoing investigations in either country. 'There is also nothing to suggest that the shooting in Fuengirola was planned from within Scotland.' Operation Portaledge is investigating a suspected gang feud linked with a number of shootings, firebombings and assaults in the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas since March. More than 40 people have been arrested in connection with the incidents.
