Actor Karisma Kapoor made her debut in 1991 with Prem Qaidi. Belonging to the prominent Kapoor family, Karisma had a lot riding on her shoulders, but an old interview from before her debut reveals that even as a teenager, Karisma was fully aware of the pressure and ready to take on the film industry.
In one of the first interviews of her career, Karisma talked about the dynamics of the Kapoor family and how much of an impact her parents have on her life and career. She seemed quite determined to debunk people's belief that women of the Kapoor family were not allowed to work and said, 'I don't know why everyone is under that illusion. It was their own choice. After all, my whole family is filled with actors, and my father and my uncle married heroines.' She added that not only are there no restrictions on women, but her father, Randhir Kapoor, actually pushed her to act. The Dil Toh Pagal Hai actor revealed that both her parents advise her on how to move forward, and she only does what is mutually decided by them.

In the interview, Karisma Kapoor also talked about her relationship with Raj Kapoor and how he was her biggest inspiration growing up. She said, 'I will never let my grandfather down, because I know he is up there and he is guiding me and looking over me. Even when I was a kid, he knew I was going to be an actor and told me, 'Lolo, I know you want to become an actor, but if you do become one, be the best or don't do it at all.''

A source from the Pinkvilla report noted, 'Ranbir is the apt choice for Dhoom 4, and the character is also designed keeping his aura and personality in mind. The new Dhoom film is being designed keeping the global action standards in mind, and the visual pallete, as also storytelling will be very different from the already established YRF Spy Universe.' Ranbir is reportedly excited to be part of the franchise, which has previously featured stars like John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan, and Aamir Khan in antagonist roles. The reboot marks a new direction for the series, with an emphasis on international-level visuals and a distinct storytelling approach. Ayan Mukerji Expected to Direct YRF is planning to begin filming Dhoom 4 in April 2026, with a target release date sometime in 2027. Talks are underway with director Ayan Mukerji to helm the project. Mukerji, who has previously worked with Kapoor on Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Brahmāstra, is expected to take charge of pre-production once War 2 is released on Independence Day 2025. If confirmed, this collaboration would mark yet another high-profile partnership between Mukerji and Kapoor. The team is looking to complete principal photography by the end of 2026. Ranbir's Tight Schedule Ahead of 'Dhoom 4' Before shifting focus to Dhoom 4, Kapoor has a packed lineup. He is currently working on Love and War, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. Following that, he is expected to begin filming the second part of Ramayana. Only after completing these two major projects will Kapoor begin work on Dhoom 4. In addition, he is also scheduled to appear in Brahmāstra 2 and Animal Park, both of which are at different stages of development. Originally launched in 2004, the Dhoom series redefined action cinema in India with its stylish heists, sleek motorcycles, and memorable antagonists. With Dhoom 4, the makers aim to push the envelope even further. While the reboot will retain the high-stakes action that the franchise is known for, it will also introduce a new narrative tone, distinct from the broader YRF Spy Universe.

Rajpal Yadav says there is no nepotism in Bollywood: Agar hota toh Shah Rukh Khan, Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar kaise hote
Nepotism in Bollywood has long been a topic of heated debate. Actor Rajpal Yadav recently addressed the issue and said that the success of actors depends on their talent. In an interview with ANI, Rajpal said it may be possible to get an initial break in Bollywood because of connections, but success depends on inherent talent and the response of the audience. (Also Read | Rajpal Yadav bashes Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Rania amid India's Got Latent row, says he cries 'watching such people') "There is no nepotism. I want to speak very honestly. Nepotism agar hota to Shah Rukh Khan sahab kaise hote, Rajpal Yadav kaise hote, Paresh Rawal kaise hote, Anupam Kher sahab kaise hote, Akshay Kumar sahab kaise hote, Johny Lever sahab kaise hote, Sanjeev Kumar sahab kaise hote, Rajesh Khanna sahab kaise hote, Dharmendra sahab kaise hote (If there was nepotism, how would there be Shah Rukh Khan, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Johny Lever, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra)?" "In my family nobody asked me to join Bollywood or khud mere mann mein aaya and I told my kids koi bhi khel mein aur cinema mein koi kisi ka jeewan nahi bana sakta (In film and sports nobody can make your life)....to usme aapke andar ka jo baitha hua ek sacha aur acha insaan hai agar vo aapko bolta hai you are capable to do this to fir aap karo nahi to mai dhakka de sakta hu par dhakke ke baad jo patkhani khaoge usko mai bhi nahi bacha sakta..(if the good person sitting within you tells you can do it, then do it. I can give a push, but the reversal you will face later, I can't prevent that)," he added. The actor said that it is possible to get an opportunity initially because of one's parents, but that is no guarantee of success. "If you are a player, your kid will get a chance to play. Similarly, if a person who has been doing film or television for 30 years, his child... He must know what my father does. So, he will learn filmmaking lekin vo chalega ki nahi chalega kar paayega ki nahi kar paayega vo urza hai ya nahi hai vo decide karta hai ya to uparvala ya audience.. nepotism nahi hai.. (but whether he will taste success or not, has that energy or is decided by the Almighty or the audience, there is no nepostism)," shared the actor known for his films including Partner, Garam Masala, Hungama among others. "I have been acting for 38 years now. And I have at least 200 relatives. Mai to ek ko bhi nahi karva blessings apni apni.. mehnat apni hai (I haven't been able to get them work here. It is blessings, hard work) and finally it is the audience who decides." Rajpal's breakthrough performance was in Ram Gopal Varma's Jungle, which was released in 2000. He later gained popularity for his slapstick comic performances and received several accolades. He worked in movies such as Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bhagam Bhag.
