Australian singer Matthew Ifield says he loves Anuv Jain's music: Would love to collaborate with him
Australian singer-songwriter Matthew Ifield was in India last month. 'It's so exciting to finally be here,' Matthew says with a wide grin, 'especially knowing it's my number one streaming territory.
I'm playing four shows—Mumbai, Bangalore, Guwahati and New Delhi—and honestly, it's my first ever headline tour outside Australia, so it feels pretty special.'
Having carved out a space with his mix of jazz, R&B, and pop wrapped in an emotional core, Matthew's influences are as layered as his sound. 'I'm really inspired by people like Jacob Collier and Sombr from the US right now, but I've always had a soft spot for legends like Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé,' he says.
'I think I'm just drawn to anything timeless, whether it's a melody or a lyric. I try to blend the classic with the modern—that's kind of my thing.
'
And yes, he's been doing his Indian music homework. 'I've definitely been listening to Anuv Jain,' he says. 'His style really stands out to me—I admire him as an artist and would absolutely love to collaborate with him. I think our voices would complement each other really well, there's a shared vibe there.'

India's digital love story with Ifield started quietly but has exploded in the past year. 'It's honestly the reason I'm here,' he admits. 'Over the last six months, something just clicked—suddenly Indian listeners were streaming everything, showing up online in huge numbers. It's overwhelming, but in the best way. Because of that, I've been able to travel to Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, and now India—just from the love people show online.
It's wild.'
And India? 'You've honestly changed my life,' he says. 'This country has shown me love in a way I never saw coming. I'm here because of that—and I don't take a second of it for granted.'

How to catch a shiny Eevee in Pokemon Go?
(Image via Eevee_Community's X Account) Shiny Eevee is a most-sought variant within Pokémon GO. Catching it is the top goal for many trainers, as the distinct silver coat of the Pokémon makes it a standout prize. While the Eevee shiny odds remain quite low, dedicated tactics can boost chances significantly. If you are looking out for adding a rare creature to your collection, here is how you can increase your chances of catching Eevee and evolve its shiny variant during a very limited time upcoming event. How to find shiny Eevee in Pokémon Go? The best shot to encounter shiny Eevee is during the increased spawn events. One such event is the Community Day Classic: Eevee. It will be active between July 5 to July 6, 2025. During it, quite specifically between 02:00 PM and 05:00 PM, Eevee spawns would skyrocket, offering you many more opportunities to check for its shiny variant. Just tap at all the Eevee you spot. If it is shiny, you will know immediately by the silver color. Eevee Community Day Classic Announced In Pokemon Go! Pro tip: Normal Eevee is much more likely to appear in partly cloudy weather. Boost your odds further using Incense and Lure Modules (on PokéStops could create dense spawn clusters). It would attract more Pokémon. To walk around in populated areas would also help as the new Eevees would keep appearing. Even if you do not get the shiny variant right away, catching some regular ones can earn you candy that you will need for later evolutions of Pokémon. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Note: The Lure Module lasts for half an hour while Incense lasts for one. Evolve Eevee to perfect other forms during Eevee Community Day Once you catch shiny Eevee, to evolve it (8 evolution forms are available) needs candy and strategy. Every evolution requires 25 Eevee Candy. For Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, evolution remains random after paying candy costs. However, for other Eeveelutions, there are some specific methods that ensure the outcome is needed. For Umbreon or Espeon, ensure to walk 10 km before the Pokémon evolves—evolve Umbreon at night, and during the day, go for Espeon. Sylveon just needs 70 hearts, while Eevee is your buddy. As the Community Day Classic: Eevee event runs, there would be limited requirements for evolution. It will last till July 12, 2025 (10:00 PM). During this time, you can evolve Espeon/Umbreon with just 1km walk and Sylveon with 7 hearts. Use the Moss Lures and Glacial Lures for Leafeon and Glaceon, respectively, on nearby Pokestop before evolving Eevee. Unused nickname tricks even guarantee some specific evolutions. If you name Eevee Rainer, you will be guaranteed Vaporeon, and Sakura will give Espeon. Sparky offers Jolteon; Pyro gives Flareon, Tamao Eeveelution is Umbreon, while for Linnea, Rea, and Kira, the Eeveelution is Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon, respectively. But just once for each is available. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Watch Episode 2 here.

Cricketer Shreyas Iyer's mother clean bowls him in viral living room cricket clip, Watch
Shreyas Iyer might be one of the most explosive batters in Indian cricket today, but even he couldn't defend against his mother's surprise delivery—at least not in his own living room. As debate continues over his absence from India's Test squad in England, the 30-year-old found himself in a much lighter battle at home, this time with a plastic ball and his mother, Rohini, delivering the goods. The video of her clean bowling Iyer has now gone viral, drawing laughs from fans and peers alike. Cricketing friendly fire that went viral In a clip posted by his IPL team Punjab Kings, Shreyas is dressed casually and is playing barefoot as he faces deliveries from his mother, Rohini Iyer. One ball zips right through his defence and hits the door behind him where the wicket would have been The stike prompted a triumphant cry of 'Out!' from Rohini. 'Only time SARPANCH won't mind getting bowled!' read PBKS's caption, referring to Iyer's captaincy moniker. The video ends with his mother's enthusiastic celebration, a clear sign of the easy camaraderie shared within the family. This isn't a one-off either. According to The Indian Express, Shreyas's parents have long embraced their son's playful side, recalling pranks like him faking an English accent over the phone or his cheeky jabs at his mother's cooking. Despite being a prominent athlete, Shreyas Iyer continues to be grounded in family rituals—including still being dropped off at the airport by both parents. Form on the field, but still out of the squad While Iyer remains in top form—scoring 604 runs in IPL 2025 and leading Punjab Kings to a runners-up finish—his exclusion from India's Test squad continues to raise eyebrows. Despite a strong domestic season with nearly 700 first-class runs, chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar stated there's 'no room' for Iyer in the Test plans. For now, Iyer seems content taking guard at home—even if his fiercest bowler lives under the same roof.
