Sharing his vision, director Ayush Mally stated, 'When I first read the script, I was drawn to the emotional core. The film reflects our culture, with humour that feels close to home.' At a recent promotional event, Dhruva spoke about the camaraderie on set. 'The team really came together. The chemistry, especially with the younger actors, was incredible,' he says. Ayush adds, 'We didn't overdo the promotions, but the feedback has been overwhelming. After the trailer release, Dhruva called and said, 'I'll support you in every way I can.' His passion for the project made this experience even more memorable.'

Thug Life advance booking: Kamal Haasan's film Thug Life is ready to debut on Thursday despite no show across Karnataka. The actor recently found himself at the centre of a controversy, which led to the film being blocked from release in the state. However, the film is set to see a decent opening day. While Karnataka is out of the picture for Thug Life, states like Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, followed by Gujarat, top the list with maximum revenue from the advance booking for the first day in all versions. Thug Life is a gangster action drama film, directed by Mani Ratnam. It is co-written by Kamal Haasan, who is also jointly producing the film under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies are also backing the film. Besides Kamal Haasan, it also features Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Rohit Saraf and Baburaj. The film marks the reunion of Haasan and Ratnam after they collaborated on their 1987 film, Nayakan. The film landed in controversy after Haasan said, "Kannada was born out of Tamil' during the film event. R.S. Prasanna feels some form of anxiety is required during creative process
Director R.S. Prasanna, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Sitaare Zameen Par', feels that some form of anxiety is needed in the creative process. The director recently spoke with IANS ahead of the release of his film, which features Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in the lead role. Speaking with IANS, Prasanna said, "The beauty of creation is the driving force for me, the anxiety is a friend, it will be there, but if you are driven only by anxiety, I don't think you can create. I think creative energy, if it wins over anxiety, that's when a creation happens. Like 'Inside Out' movie, it was said so beautifully that anxiety is like the correct balance between acceleration and braking. So if you don't accelerate, you can't move, if you don't have a brake, you'll have an accident. So you need both". He also shared his experience of working with Aamir in the film, as he said, "I feel that Aamir sir, and I can speak certainly for myself, he's worked with the best of the best directors, but I can speak for myself, that Aamir sir's magic is that he makes you a better filmmaker than what you are at the beginning of the film".
