While the cost of many classic cars have gone up in the past few years, some models remain at a lower price tag.

One model that the market may have overlooked is the original Audi TT.
It doesn't pack a lot of power, but it "could sell on looks alone".
Some even feature the rare baseball glove leather upholstery.
Autocar notes that "well-preserved" Audi TTs start at around £2,000.
Another car to keep your eye on is the Jaguar XK8.
The "supercharged" XKR is "what everyone wants", according to Autocar.
Experts note that the price is on the lower end, unlike the XK8 which is starting to gain value again.
Prices begin from around £3,500.
A Mazda RX-8, from 2003 to 2012, is another one where prices are heading north.
This is because Mazda admitted it could be years until the RX-9 comes out.
In 2012, they said they hadn't even started developing it yet.
Experts predict there is a good chance the next one will come with advanced driving aids and "some form of electrification".
This means the RX-8 is the last of a breed, and prices start from £2,300 but are slowly rising.
Another cheap car is the Porsche Boxster, which are currently priced from £4,000.
Inspired by the 550 Spyder, this car "almost single-handedly saved the brand from bankruptcy".
It is one of the most affordable Porsches with a flat-six engine.
However, experts predict it won't stay this cheap for long.
It comes after a car expert picked out five modern classic motors that are set to soar in value - and urged petrolheads to buy now while they're still reasonably priced.
Those looking to buy a used sports car can check out the best on Sun Motors.

Noel Gallagher's ‘excellent condition' 1990s super saloon up for sale for eye-watering seven-figure price

A gorgeous Bentley Turbo R was listed on Auto Trader, having once been the pride of joy of the Don't Look Back in Anger singer. The Turbo R - with the 'R" standing for "roadholding" - boasts a 6.8-litre V8 engine and is good for 0-60mph under seven seconds, as well as a top speed of 143mph. Not only built for speed, the Bentley boasts all the trimmings you'd expect from a luxury set of wheels of its time - featuring a cream leather interior, complemented by a wood trim. Described as being in both "excellent condition" and "surprisingly reliable", the Turbo R has clocked some 100,000 miles in its 28-year life. The snazzy motor also has the number plate 'OASI6 2', in reference to the Britpop band, which is set to reunite to play a run of gigs this year in the UK and Ireland. This includes shows at Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, and Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium, throughout July, August and September. The reunion made history, with more than 10million fans trying to get their hands on the British shows alone. Every performance, including those in the US, South America and Australia, sold out within minutes of going on sale. Famously, the Manchester-born musician has never passed his driving test - but seemingly hasn't stopped him owning or, indeed, driving cars. In 2023, he was handed six penalty points and ordered to pay a court £1,000 for failing to tell police who was driving his Range Rover - which was clocked speeding at 41mph on a 30mph stretch of the A40 in Edgware Road, West London. Noel Gallagher looks stony-faced as he makes lonely Tube journey to Oasis rehearsals – but Liam's entrance is chaotic Speaking about the Bentley's sale, Erin Baker, editorial director at Auto Trader, said: 'Cars listed by music legends don't come around very often, and Noel Gallagher's Bentley Turbo R is certainly one for the Auto Trader history books." Auto Trader's Catherine King recently spoke to Sun Motors with advice on the best second-hand convertibles drivers can pick up at a pinch in time for the summer sun. Naturally, their picks included the evergreen Mazda MX-5 - dubbed the poster child for convertible cars.

The fashion powerhouse is widely seen to have the most elite motor collection in the world FAST FASHION Ultra-rare 90s Ferrari hypercar owned by fashion icon goes on the market for eye-watering price Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN ULTRA-RARE 90s Ferrari hypercar owned by a fashion icon has gone on the market for an eye-watering price. For a whopping £5.9 million, you could be the next owner of a rare 1995 Ferrari F50. Images show the yellow hypercar with a contrasting Nero leather interior in immaculate condition. With fewer than 5,400 miles on the clock, the car was commissioned by fashion icon Ralph Lauren whose collection of motors is widely seen as one of the most elite in the world. The listing states the motor was "ordered new and retained for eight years" by the fashion powerhouse. The F50 produces 513 horsepower and sprints to 60 miles per hour in just 3.6 seconds, powered by a 4.7 litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. It also has a removable targa roof and is clothed in carbon fibre, Kevlar and Nomex honeycomb composite. The motor also retains its Ferrari Classiche Certification which confirms the originality of all its components. In addition, a new Red Book will accompany the sale. This follows the F50 receiving a fresh service at Ferrari of Central Florida which included a fuel bladder replacement, new tyres and renewed brake components. It's set to go on auction with RM Sothebys and will be sold with original documentation. Gordon Ramsay adds stunning £4m Ferrari to supercar collection leaving fans stunned This includes a "duplicato" warranty book, the owner's manual in its original leather folio and a Ferrari flashlight. The listing states: "It is very rare that Mr. Lauren has parted with a car once acquired, making the opportunity to purchase a vehicle with his provenance quite a rarity. 'The car is offered with fewer than 5,400 miles at the time of cataloguing and has just received a fresh service by Ferrari of Central Florida at the end of 2024, including replacement of the fuel bladder, tyres, and brake components. 'Further, the F50 also had its Ferrari Classiche Certification reviewed and renewed last year, with a new Red Book to be received by the time of sale and, of course, confirming that all components remain original and exactly as they should be in such a well-preserved, much-loved example. 5 The car was commissioned by a fashion powerhouse Credit: mediadrumimages 5 This F50 is only one of just two made to US specification in Giallo Moderna Credit: mediadrumimages 'In a world of low-mileage F50s, this car benefits from the sought-after US specification, as one of only two in this rarefied colour, and from a pristine, 'no-stories' history, beginning with Ralph Lauren and continuing with 22 years in the good hands of the present owners.' The F50 hasn't been shown in public or displayed since 2009. Just 349 production F50s were built and while every one is special, some are more special than others. Only 55 were made to US specification and of those, only two were finished in Giallo Modena. Another super rare Ferrari also went to auction recently, selling for a record price of £6.3 million. Its believed to be the oldest Ferrari in existence and was Enzo Ferrari's first car, designed to compete in circuit racing and drive on the road. It was also reported last month that another iconic Ferrari, with a top speed of 201 miles per hour, was to sell for £2.4 million.

Horrified drivers on the A9 near Pitlochry were forced to watch in disbelief as the white Honda Jazz accelerated into oncoming traffic on Thursday. It's understood the driver may have taken a wrong turn at a nearby slip road but continued on, posing a serious risk of a head-on collision on the busy trunk road connecting Perth and Inverness. Social media users have since slammed the dangerous manoeuvre. One wrote: 'Where do these idiots get their licences from?' Another commented: 'You would think they'd have the sense to immediately turn around rather than risk a head-on collision that could wipe out a family - maybe even themselves. "It doesn't bear thinking about the carnage if a couple of bikers, blood delivery riders, or emergency vehicles had been coming the other way. "I've driven that stretch hundreds of times in lorries, vans and cars - this is a wake-up call for every driver, every car hire firm, every parent who wants their kids to stay alive. "Thank the Lord no one was hurt this time.' A third added: 'Scary to think this wouldn't have happened before dualling. "There needs to be a process to review signage at junctions - not to mention clearing overgrown bushes that obscure direction and speed limit signs. Terrifying moment car dangles precariously over sheer cliff drop sparking frantic mission to save occupants inside "There's not much hope otherwise.' A fourth said: 'OMG, I hope they got stopped. Sends shivers down my spine - reminds me of the crash last year when a family of four died because of a driver going the wrong way on the motorway.' The video, shared by Fife Jammer Locations, has been viewed more than 580,000 times since it was posted on Thursday afternoon. Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
