In the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood, fame is always fleeting. Many actors come into the industry in the hope of making it big on the screen, but the success story of an actor changes every week. While on one Friday, they would be winning hearts and getting a lot of praise for their impeccable performance, the next Friday, they might get totally vanish into thin air like they never existed. But in this industry where several actors come, entertain us and then leave, there are rarely few who remain etched in the memory, and when they come around with a comeback, it feels personal. They come back as if they never left.
One such tale belongs to an artist who was once a co-star of Bollywood's Shahenshah, Amitabh Bachchan. The person we are talking about is none other than Rakhi Gulzar, the legendary actress of Hindi Cinema. Rakhi, whose unforgettable performance remains to live rent-free in our head even today, once gave blockbuster hits like 'Kabhi Kabhie', 'Karan-Arjun', 'Tapasya', 'Sharmili', 'Aanchal'.
This year, Rakhi has made her prodigal comeback with a Bengali film, Amar Boss. Returning to the industry after 22 years, this film is directed by Filmmakers Shibhoprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy. The film revolves around the storyline of an older woman whose family is unable to take care of her, It also addresses societal issues and more. The veteran actress's comeback is grabbing a lot of eyeballs, and she is getting her due appreciation. The audience is happy to see the veteran actress come back after a long time.
While talking about working with Rakhi Gulzar in the film Amar Boss, director Shibhoprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy laid emphasis on Rakhi's simple nature and humility. The director shared that Rakhi is a very simple girl who doesn't believe in making things complicated. They revealed that on sets she used to do her makeup and even styled herself. She wore her own sarees and told the makers not to worry about her clothes.
Rakhi, being one of the most celebrated actresses in 70's and 80's, delivered some immoral films, but besides her professional success, her personal life was facing some turbulence. While she was at the peak of her career, she married writer and poet Gulzar. But before marriage, Gulzar laid a condition that she would not act in films after marriage. Despite her love for the art, she decided to compromise for her love. But later, she faced repercussions of this bet. Whenever she would get an offer, fights started picking up between the duo, so much so that it even led to physical fights and abuse. A year later, the couple called it quits and parted their ways.
Now at 77, Rakhi is back with a bang, and her comeback is proof that while she was away from the limelight, she was never away from the hearts of her fans. And, if an artist is truly passionate about their art, their comeback, no matter when they happen, will speak volumes.

Aamir Khan Reveals Amitabh Bachchan Backed His Decision To Release Sitaare Zameen Par Only In Theatres
Quick Read Summary is AI generated, newsroom reviewed. Aamir Khan will return to Bollywood with a theatrical-only release of Sitaare Zameen Par. He declined digital release offers to encourage audiences to watch the film in cinemas. Aamir Khan prefers a six-month gap between theatrical and digital releases for fairness. New Delhi: Aamir Khan is set to make his Bollywood comeback after three years with Sitaare Zameen Par. The actor has announced a while back, that the movie would be a theatrical-only release. Sharing the reason behind this decision, the actor stated that releasing a film on a digital platform just eight weeks after its theatrical debut seemed like an unfair proposition to him. In an interview with India Today, Aamir Khan spoke about how OTT platforms today pressure makers to release their films for streaming within a tight timeframe. While the actor has no issue with any platform, he stated that a six-month gap between theatrical and digital releases would have been more comfortable for him. Aamir Khan said, "I am a loyalist of cinema, and I believe in it. Yes, it's a big risk, and there's a lot [of money] involved. If I don't get that chunk of my pre-sales, and the film doesn't work, it could lead to a major loss. I did receive offers, but I turned them down because I want audiences to go to theatres and watch my film. I believe in cinema, and I believe in my audience." The actor shared that some of his close friends tried to change his mind. However, he ultimately found reassurance in Amitabh Bachchan's words, which helped him stick to his decision. Aamir Khan added, 'Everyone was suggesting we go the conventional way, but I was adamant about a theatre-only release. That night, when I met Mr Bachchan, I don't know what came over me, but I opened up to him about my concerns. I told him that friends and well-wishers all felt I wasn't making the right choice.' He added, "I was scared and unsure, but he told me, 'Why aren't you doing it? You've always taken risks. You're a risk-taker.' All of us deeply respect Amit ji, and when he said that, it validated my belief. That's when I decided to go ahead and release the film only in cinemas.' Aamir Khan emphasised that his decision on a theatrical-only release applies only to Sitaare Zameen Par, as of now. The production company will assess the response to this film before deciding on release strategies for future projects. Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par also features Genelia D'Souza and Darsheel Safary. The film will release in theatres on June 20.

Shaalien Malhotra on why he has been away acting: I have diversified into a lot more things apart from acting
Shaalien Malhotra has been keeping busy—both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Known for his television work, the actor has now branched out into voice work and production, juggling roles that keep him connected to the industry while also letting him grow beyond acting. He tells us, "I have diversified into a lot more things apart from acting, which actually do help me in acting also. So I give a lot of voicing. I do a lot of voicing work for a lot of South films for Tamil and Telugu to be dubbed in Hindi. Acting happens to me when it happens, when there are good shows coming, when there are good roles, when they think I fit. I make ads. So I keep myself busy." His current excitement lies in producing—something that offers a different set of challenges. 'I'm very excited about the projects that I'm doing as a producer, yeah. It's a different ballgame. It's a different space to be in, to be pitching, to be going in for meetings, learning a few things of how people react to your approach, because you're new. And then making ads is always a good high, because it's a project that you have to make in a particular time span and deliver it. So yeah, that work keeps me very much interested. On the acting forefront, I would still want Arjun to come back, because a lot of people have been asking for it. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? He recently attended The Giant Wheel Festival and shares, "It's a vibe. That is, it's basically a part of space that brings people together. It's like a celebration where all age groups are coming." When asked about his childhood, he recalled what he misses most. 'I think when you ask this to any grown-up who's crossed their childhood, it will always be the carefree life. It will always be the no-stress zones. It will always be hanging out with friends in the evening. It will be playing hide-and-seek when the light goes off in the colonies of Delhi. So playing cricket day and night. But I think the sweetest childhood memory, if I recall, is going to be with family, celebrating my birthday with mom and dad. Watching various movies with them. Because those times are very precious. And when they go, these are the only memories that stay with you. So I think anything related to my mom, or my dad, or my brother, since my childhood, I think every memory and each memory is very special.'
