Injury Report: Steph Curry, Quinten Post listed as questionable vs. Nuggets
Following a tough battle against the New York Knicks on Saturday, the Golden State Warriors will open a tough back-to-back at home on Monday starting with a contest against the Denver Nuggets. When Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets to San Francisco on Monday, the Warriors could be without a pair of starters, including their All-Star point guard.
Both Steph Curry (lower back strain) and Quinten Post (right ankle soreness) are listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Nuggets. Brandin Podziemski is also set to miss his fifth consecutive game on Monday due to a bilateral lower back strain.
The Nuggets also have multiple key pieces listed as questionable for Saturday. Nikola Jokic (right elbow), Aaron Gordon (right calf, left ankle sprain), Jamal Murray (right ankle sprain) are all listed as questionable for Monday.
Curry is coming off a 28-point performance on Saturday against the Knicks. If he's unable to go, the Warriors will be shorthanded at point guard with Podziemski also sidelined. Steve Kerr could have to get creative in the Warriors backcourt with only Pat Spencer and Yuri Collins as Golden State's only healthy point guards.
Following the Warriors' game on Monday against the Nuggets, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks come to town on Tuesday for the second leg of a back-to-back at San Francisco's Chase Center.

They often say that the "third is the charm" and even that "three is a magic number", while the Romans had the triumvirate of leaders. For the Florida basketball program, good things came in threes during the 2025 NBA draft as its entire starting backcourt found a new home in the professional ranks during the two-day event. The final former Gator to hear his name called was swingman Will Richard, who was picked by the Golden State Warriors with the No. 56 pick, just barely making it into the 59 selections this week. Most experts had him as an undrafted free agent signing ahead of the draft, but instead, he exceeded expectations to ensure that every Florida alumnus in the draft heard their name called. In fact, the Warriors traded up to the No. 56 selection with the Memphis Grizzlies to ensure that Richard was still available. It was the first time since 2007 that the Orange and Blue saw three or more of its products drafted in the same year — and only the third time ever that it has happened. Five Gators were taken that year, starting with forward/center Al Horford, forward/center Joakim Noah and wing Corey Brewer in the first round, followed by forward Chris Richard and guard Tauren Green in the second round. The 6-foot-4-inch, 206-pounder averaged 13.3 points on 48.7% shooting from the field overall (35.9% from 3-point range), 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 steals per game in 2024-25. During his three seasons in Gainesville, Richard averaged 11.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game over 108 appearances and 105 starts, shooting 46.2% from the field and 36.3% from beyond the arc. The Fairburn, Georgia, native opened up his collegiate career with the Belmont Bruins, averaging 12.1 points, six rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 33 games (30 starts) as a freshman before moving on to Florida. An overlooked possible Eagles roster play emerges from ESPN insider's notes
ESPN insider recently offered an interesting Eagles theory that might work but few seem to be mentioning. The Philadelphia Eagles have an interesting situation at the tight end position. Their top two on the depth, Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra, are in the final year of their contracts. Nothing is promised to them past the coming season. The Atlanta Falcons have a tight end who has never consistently lived up to his potential. Interestingly enough, he's from Philadelphia and playing on a fifth-year option that will pay him more than $10.8 million this season. Kyle Pitts was named a Pro Bowler and as a member of the Pro Football Writers Association's 2021 All-Rookie Team. The Eagles certainly wouldn't extend an offer to Atlanta for his services. Well, if that's the case, why is that the basis for an ESPN insider's theory and opinion? ESPN Aaron Schatz finds value in a Falcons and Eagles trade involving Kyle Pitts ESPN's Aaron Schatz recently proposed one final offseason move for each of the 32 NFL teams. Technically, two involved the Eagles. One mentioned them signing Tyler Boyd. The second, one naming the Falcons, was a little more interesting. "Pitts has never matched the heights of his 1,026-yard rookie season, nor has he matched expectations as the No. 4 overall pick. It's very unlikely that the Falcons extend or re-sign him after the 2025 season, so perhaps the best thing is to get some value for him now and let him see what he can do with a change of scenery." Atlanta has some expensive issues, one being their $180 million backup quarterback. The other is the aforementioned $10M tight end they may dangle as trade bait. Schatz continues: The Jets might be an interesting landing spot for Pitts, as he could play next to rookie Mason Taylor in two-TE sets. The Giants could also use an upgrade at the position. Even the Eagles might be an interesting trade target, as Dallas Goedert is now 30 years old. The $10 million and Pitts needing a new deal are the hangups here. That's especially true, given that the Eagles already have youngsters on the roster whom they will have to pay big money to, and relatively soon. Place a pin in this one. Jot it down because, though it seems unlikely and too expensive an option, it is interesting. Besides, if there's someone who might be thinking about it, someone who might be able to pull this off, it's Howie Roseman. These are precisely the types of moves he makes, moves that make us wonder how he does what he does. These are the types of moves that make us call him a genius in the first place. Plus, it's worth keeping in mind that the Eagles did have interest, even if minimal, when he was part of the 2021 draft class a little over four years ago.
