Dinah Jane Said She Helped "Manifest" Fellow Fifth Harmony Member Normani's Recent Engagement, And This Is So Sweet
If you were a 5H fan, you already know that Dinah Jane was one of the five members of Fifth Harmony, along with Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, and Ally Brooke.
Formed on the second season of The X Factor, they went on to become one of the best-selling girl groups of the 2010s. I remember their song "Work from Home" was EVERYWHERE in 2016. On YouTube, the iconic music video currently has 2.9 billion (!!) views.
Years after they announced an indefinite hiatus to focus on their solo careers, I was curious if the women remained friends. So, I chatted with Dinah about it during her recent interview for BuzzFeed's Voices of the Pacific series.
When asked if she still talks to the other former Fifth Harmony members, the 27-year-old told BuzzFeed, "I've been talking to them since the beginning of when we first went our separate ways. We built in the sisterhood."
Dinah said they were sisters before they were business partners, which is what made them "so special." She continued, "I hold on to that type of relationship that, even to this day, carries on that same energy."
"That comes from the big sister in me. It's always love, and it's always respect on my end. I feel like I've had these built-in sisters for the longest, and I'll forever cherish the friendship we've had. It's still the same type of friendship. Because we were able to overcome some obstacles throughout the years, we're in a good place right now."
Dinah also had some sweet words for Normani, who got engaged to NFL player DK Metcalf in March.
"I'm so, so happy for her. A few months ago, not too long ago, I just asked her, 'Hey, so what's going on? When are you getting married?' She was like, 'Girl, I hope soon.' And what do you know! I'm so happy for her. I would say I kind of called it into existence," she said with a laugh.
When I said she manifested it for Normani, Dinah agreed. "Definitely manifested it for her! She deserves."
"We're all getting to that age now. We're all about to get married and have kids, and I'm just so happy to see everyone in their womanhood," she concluded.

Taylor Swift And Blake Lively Friendship Update In June
There's a new update on Taylor Swift and Blake Lively's friendship amidst Blake's ongoing legal woes with Justin Baldoni. In December, Blake sued Justin, her co-star and director on It Ends with Us, claiming he sexually harassed her on set. In addition to denying the claims, Justin launched a countersuit against Blake, alleging defamation, civil extortion, and false light invasion of privacy. Taylor was roped into the drama in May when Justin's legal team subpoenaed her, arguing that Blake had used "her megacelebrity friend to pressure [Justin]" into making changes on the film. A rep for Taylor immediately denied their claims. "Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie," her spokesperson said. "She was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history." According to the rep, Taylor had only agreed to license her song "My Tears Ricochet" for use in the trailer and one scene. "Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift's name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case." Still, the drama continued when Justin's lawyers wrote a letter to a judge claiming that Blake had allegedly asked Taylor to delete their text messages and "that if Ms. Swift refused to do so, private text messages of a personal nature in Ms. Lively's possession would be released." Blake's lawyer called the claims "categorically false," and the next day, a judge struck the "improper" letter from the record. However, a source claimed that Blake and Taylor's friendship was still left "fractured" in the wake of it. "Their friendship has halted," a source purportedly close to Taylor told People last month. "Taylor wants no part in this drama," the source added, before clarifying it didn't mean they were "not no longer friends" — they were just "taking some space." Neither Taylor nor Blake addressed the report at the time, but now, almost a month on, a source has offered an update, telling People their friendship still "isn't the same." "[They] aren't as close and haven't been spending as much time together as they did in the past," the source said. However, they claimed Taylor and Blake are trying to get back "on good terms." I guess we'll see what happens. In the meantime, BuzzFeed has reached out to reps for Taylor, Blake, and Justin for comment on the latest report.

Blake Lively Gets Org Support Amid Justin Baldoni Trial
A spokesperson for Blake Lively issued a statement as the number of organizations submitting amicus briefs in support of her amid her legal battle with Justin Baldoni hit 19. In December, Blake sued her It Ends With Us co-star and director, as well as the studio Wayfarer and other parties, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation. Justin subsequently sued Blake, alleging defamation and extortion, among other things. Both parties have denied the allegations of the other. Before we get into the update, you might be wondering what an amicus brief is. It stems from the Latin phrase "friend of the court," which allows people who aren't parties in the case to submit documents of support, arguing that the impact of the case will also affect them. So, why are all these orgs issuing amicus briefs? Let's take one that's been signed by 14 women's and anti-violence organizations. In it, they argue, "The retaliatory defamation lawsuit instigated by the Wayfarer parties against Blake Livelyis another example of 'DARVO' tactics (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender) in the post-#MeToo era where perpetrators of 'sexual violence,' in particular sexual harassment, attempt to silence their victims into submission." After a new brief was filed this week by Child USA, a nonprofit against child abuse, a spokesperson for Blake issued a statement to BuzzFeed that read, "19 leading survivors and organizations devoted to women's rights, children's rights and domestic violence have now signed onto four separate amicus briefs. All are united in opposing Justin Baldoni's attempt to dismantle a law designed to protect women who speak up—simply to protect himself." Justin's attorney has been reached for comment. "The latest briefs, filed by Child USA and Sanctuary for Families, add the voices of renowned nonprofits, victim advocates, and experts from around the world who are dedicated to safeguarding the rights and well-being of people who speak up," they continued. Justin has never been accused of child abuse. "Rather than defend his case on the facts, Baldoni is now contradicting years of his own public persona—abandoning the message of his #MeToo YouTube's, podcasts, TED Talks, and interviews, where he once upon a time urged men 'to listen to the women in your life…to hold their anguish and actually believe them, even if what they're saying is against you.' These women and organizations are sounding the alarm about his DARVO tactics, and the chilling effect they could have well beyond this case," the statement concluded. BuzzFeed has reached out to a representative for Justin for comment.

What to Watch on the 'CoComelon' YouTube Channel This Week
We know there is a lot of content on YouTube, and it can be hard to tell which ones are appropriate for your child. So Parents' editors are picking some of the best videos every week that you can feel good about.I don't know about other parents of toddlers, but right now all my daughter wants to do is be outside. But when she finally makes it inside, the only thing we're doing for the remainder of the day is eating a snack, turning on the air conditioning, and relaxing with some well-earned screen time. After all, if she's been running around at the park or backyard all day, she deserves a rest. If this sounds similar to your weekend routine, then you'll want to tune into the CoComelon YouTube channel. Each week, the channel posts several new videos, so you can keep your toddler entertained without worrying about repeating the same songs over and over again. Here are the latest CoComelon songs to watch with your kids after a long day of playing—or whenever you and your family need some downtime. When your little one gets a scrape or a bruise, they might be fascinated or scared or struggling to understand what just happened—probably some potent combination of all three. But it may be just a little easier to explain what happens when we get hurt with some help from JJ. In this song, JJ and several of his friends get hurt while playing. Fortunately, their parents step in to comfort and bandage them up. The song reminds kids that yes, getting a 'boo boo' is scary at the moment, but adults are always there to help us. In this brand new CoComelon song, JJ and friends Cody and Nina are learning how to use the potty–and it's intimidating. Not only is sitting on the potty all by yourself a little bit scary, but nobody likes putting play to a stop to use the potty, either. In this song, JJ, Cody, and Nina learn that they are 'really brave,' like a 'big kid,' as the lyrics go, building your toddler's confidence in their own ability to go to the potty on their own. It also shows kids through visuals that using the bathroom means just momentarily pausing the play before resuming the game as soon as you're done. If you're in the midst of graduating from diapers, this song is necessary for your potty training tool box–sometimes our kids just don't listen to us, but they will listen to their best friend JJ. In this 31 minute video, toddlers are treated to a series of songs that double as games. All kids love a game of Peek a Boo with mom and dad—thanks to the first song in the video kids and parents can play along together. The other songs on the playlist include a hide-and-seek version of 'Baby Shark,' 'Head Shoulders Knees & Toes,' and a CoComelon original song called 'Pretend Shop,' in which JJ and his friends set up grocery store at home and pretend to go shopping. This song could inspire your kids to invent their own games at home when the screens are off. And don't forget, if your family is trying to cut down on screen time, but still loves to sing along to the CoComelon songs, you can listen to CoComelon playlists on Spotify. Looking for even more CoComelon content to get excited about? A feature-length CoComelon movie will be released in 2026. Read the original article on Parents
