But it was Chris ' letter from his mum Valerie that REALLY got fans talking.
Each housemate took it in turns to read a letter to one of their fellow finalists.
It was up to Love island star Chris' best friend JoJo to read out his letter, which read: "Dear Chris, I just wanted you to know at how proud we are at the way you are handling yourself in the Big Brother house.
"We applaud you for standing up for what is right like you always do.
"From this you have formed a beautiful friendship with JoJo, sadly from observation you have ruffled a few feathers.
"You have always been a sensitive soul and this has become apparent when you broke down in the Diary Room.
"You have so much to give and sadly many people don't understand your sense of humour but it's good to see that you have made some people laugh like you do at home and that's what it's really all about.
"You hate people making snide remarks with their negativity.
"Gosh seeing you in the play pen brought back a few memories, it was a hilarious.
"You said at the launch how you wanted to 'make me proud' - undoubtedly you have.

"We are sending you love and hugs, take care, love you always mum."
However some fans think Chris' mum was taking a swipe at other housemates, including his fellow finalists, who are against JoJo and Chris' relationship.
Taking to X/Twitter to discuss, one fan wrote: "Chris mum's letter was defo reminding people that JoJo has been the only one who has been on Chris' side."
While another added: "Makes sense that Chris' letter home would be used as a chance to make a dig at other housemates."
This one said: "Was that letter from Chris' mum or Chris' manager?
"It was nice but definitely guided an audience recap that JoJo has been there for Chris while the others haven't."

JOJO'S LETTER
Meanwhile, JoJo's note was also from her mum, Jess, but included a message from the Dance Moms star's partner Kath.
However some fans believe that the letter hinted that JoJo's relationship is on the rocks.
Like JoJo had done for Chris, her BFF read her letter from her mum, which said: 'Hi JoJo, we're having so much fun watching you in the Big Brother house.
"The most important thing to tell you is a message from Kath because I know you really miss them the most. 'Kath's keen to see you when you get out'...'

"I've had so much fun with Kath whilst you're away, we've had lots of phone calls and Facetimes and they even came to my house to watch the launch of the show.
"I'm happy you're making such good friends and I'm happy you've chosen to see the good in everyone in the house.
"I know some moments have been hard when some true colours unexpectedly come out but I know you can handle anything and anyone.
"I can't wait to see you soon and hear of the stories, I know you'll remember every little detail. I miss you so much, love mum."
But despite the excitement of receiving letters, JoJo appeared to take issue with hers.
Reflecting on what she received, the US star said to Jack: 'I honestly like, I'm finding myself really analysing that note and like I don't like it.'
Jack replied: 'As in, are you trying to find a hidden message or something?'
And then JoJo later explained in the Diary Room: 'I think I've tried to keep myself distracted from missing sweet Kath.
"I said goodbye to them at the airport and it was a really hard goodbye.
'And then they were the last person I talked to before I gave up my phone for the Big Brother house.
"God, I love that little sucker. I do.'
JoJo continued: 'I do have beef to pick with them though, they didn't even say in the note that they love me.
'I will not let them live that down. I will say, 'where was my 'hi sweetheart', where was my 'I love you' where was my 'I miss you'?'.
'Like happy you're keen to see me when I get out of here, keen to see you as well, but come on baba, give me a little something something.'
Viewers immediately took to X/Twitter to say they were convinced JoJo's partner Kath is furious at her.
One shared a meme of pop star Adele looking annoyed and wrote: "JoJo's partner sat at home right now like 'me? The drama?"
A second posted a picture of furious looking Patsy Palmer from her CBB exit interview and quipped: "JoJo's partner watching Chris read out the cryptic message about him."
JOJO AND CHRIS GROW CLOSE
Over the past few weeks, JoJo and Chris have grown close and enjoyed a string of intimate moments.
It comes as a source told The Sun: ' JoJo and Chris have been the talking point of the series, with the 'will-they won't-they' narrative.
'Even if it's purely platonic, as they claim, fans are convinced Kath must be furious about the endless physical contact, at least.
As the pair's friendship has developed, they have been seen sharing a bed, writing secret messages on one another, and cuddling on the sofa.
Chris has even offered to have JoJo's babies, despite the singer having a partner on the outside.

Tammy Hembrow's husband Matt Zukowski lets off steam in a 'smash room' amid rumours their marriage is on the rocks: 'Probably needed a hug'
Tammy Hembrow and her husband Matt Zukowski have been fuelling rumours that their marriage is on the rocks for weeks. The fitness influencer even admitted she is going through some 'heavy stuff' in an emotional video on Tuesday. Now Matt, 29, has shared a carousel of photos and videos from an emotionally charged outing at a smash room. The Love Island alum admitted he 'probably needed a hug' in one video that showed him hurling a ceramic mug at a block of stone and smashing it into pieces. Smash rooms, also known as rage rooms, offer a safe space for people to vent their frustrations and relieve stress by smashing breakable objects. Matt set the video to the dulcet tones of Adele's 'Hometown Glory' – a ballad about Adele's love and appreciation for her hometown of West Norwood in London and specifically how she wanted to stay there despite being pressured to leave for university. The song captures the feeling of being rooted in a place and the longing to remain there, even amidst pressures to move on. Sources close to the couple previously told Daily Mail Australia the pair are 'on a break', with Matt relocating back to his native Melbourne while Tammy remained in Queensland with her three children. Matt also ramped up rumours that his whirlwind romance with Tammy may be over after posting footage of himself going to the movies solo. He took to Instagram to share a video from inside the cinema, revealing he was watching Death of a Unicorn alone — a move which came after fans noticed he was absent from Tammy's 31st birthday celebrations. On Wednesday, Matt attended back-to-back films in the cinema by himself and posted his reviews of 'good shark movie' Dangerous Animals and new horror flick The Ritual. 'I decided that I had a little bit of time so I decided to get a ticket to the new horror, The Ritual,' he said. Matt appeared to be carrying a box of alcohol in one arm while he filmed himself walking home from the cinemas. Meanwhile, his wife Tammy took her youngest child Posy to the park for a 'bestie date' and then went on a solo excursion to the beach with her three kids at sunset. The mum-of-three sat on the sand and watched the 'strawberry moon' while her children played in the shallows. Later, she thanked her fans for their support during this 'difficult' time. 'I am so grateful for all the sweet messages guys, I wish I could respond to every single one,' Tammy captioned an aesthetic snap of a leather-bound journal and a cup of hot tea on her bed. 'I genuinely wish how much you knew how much it actually means to me. 'Crazy feeling you have an online community of people you've never met but you just feel like they get you and are giving you a big hug. 'It's a hard thing to describe but you guys do that for me and I am so grateful for that.' Tammy said she is sending the 'biggest hugs' to 'anyone who needs it right now.' The cryptic post comes after the fitness influencer, 31, struggled to keep her composure in an emotional video on Tuesday. 'I just want to say thank you to everyone, I have been dealing with some heavy stuff. I feel like people can tell... I definitely don't like to pretend I am okay when I am not,' she said as she tried not to break down in tears. 'I feel like I have been trying to do that for a little while because I have so much I have to focus on. I just feel like pretending is doing me more harm than good.' Tammy added she would not go into detail about what she is going through, but asked her followers to be 'kind'. In the video, she was not wearing her wedding and engagement rings. Just hours earlier, Tammy shared a cryptic post saying 'when something feels off it is usually women's intuition'. Tammy and Matt began dating in mid-2023, after he slid into her DMs and were engaged just three months later.

EXCLUSIVE Major shake-up for new season of I'm A Celebrity Australia as insider reveals why Channel Ten will 'NEVER cancel the series'
In a first for the Aussie edition of I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!, Channel 10 is pulling the plug on its beloved live format. The entire 2026 season is set to be pre-recorded in South Africa this November and aired in January to kick off the network's summer programming slate. And according to well-placed insiders, the shake-up has sent shockwaves through the local entertainment industry. 'This is a game-changer,' a network source told Daily Mail Australia. 'For years, the live element has scared off bigger names. Now that it's all pre-recorded, suddenly everyone wants in - we're talking names we never thought we could get.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The move has lifted the pressure on nervous celebs fearful of 'cancellation in real time', giving producers more control over the chaos that unfolds in the jungle. 'Live TV can be brutal. Now there's room to finesse things in the edit - ramp up the drama, clean up the awkward silences, and make sure no one's career gets torched before the final credits,' the insider added. The format switch isn't being driven by budget cuts either - despite whispers around the industry pointing fingers at Ten's looming Big Brother reboot and cost-shifting. 'If anything, this frees up cash to actually chase some proper A-listers,' the insider said. 'Not just someone who walked down the aisle on Married At First Sight five years ago and everyone completely forgot about.' And Ten has form when it comes to pulling surprise names out of the hat. Over the years, The Masked Singer has featured a string of international stars, from La Toya Jackson and Brian Austin Green to Charlotte Crosby, Destiny's Childs' Michelle Williams, and even Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton. 'There's definitely a hope that if we start landing bigger names, other platforms might take notice - streaming, international syndication, you name it,' one well-placed TV exec told us. But the reality behind keeping the show on air may come down to something far more practical - quotas. Under Australian media laws, all commercial networks are legally required to ensure at least 55 per cent of the content broadcast on their primary channels is locally made - a rule reaffirmed by the federal government in 2020. 'Honestly, I'm A Celeb is just cheap and cheerful content that ticks the box,' the source explained. 'It helps Ten meet their local content quota during a period when ratings don't matter. Unless they find another show that's just as budget and easy to churn out, I don't see it going anywhere.' The upcoming series is expected to begin filming in South Africa in November, with a slightly shorter post-production window allowing Ten to air the full season from January – right in time to kick off their 2025 line-up. Channel 10 has been approached for comment.

Love Island: Meet Toni Laites, Who Has Made History As The First US Contestant In The Villa
Summer is here, and with it brings a whole new series of Love Island - and an excuse to stay inside and binge our fave show. This week, we were introduced to the new line-up of singletons who are looking for love, which include former fire breather Sophie Lee, personal trainer Aaron Buckett and Shakira Khan. Love Island producers have hinted that this season will be jam-packed with new twists and turns, and, if this week is anything to go by, they weren't exaggerating. Despite being only a few days into the new series, the villa has already seen the arrival of a new bombshell, Toni Laites. Host Maya Jama teased the arrival of Toni with a promo on social media that showed her receiving a voice note from a mysterious American girl. Now, Toni has entered the villa, becoming the first US contestant to take part in the show. Toni Laites is from Connecticut, and she works as a Las Vegas Pool Cabana Server. Although the show has only just started, Toni has already bought all the drama by becoming the first bombshell to enter the series. Toni is also the first ever American cast member to join the line-up, so we can't wait to see what's in store for the islanders as the dynamics evolve. However, Toni has said she's hoping to come out with friends of course' and doesn't 'want to be super messy' in the villa. She added: 'I guess I'm the party starter, I want everyone to have fun.' Toni Laites has opened up about her work as a Las Vegas Pool Cabana Server, calling it her claim to fame. 'I'm always the number one in sales at both hotels I work at. I'm a workaholic,' she said. 'You have to audition to get the job I've got – over a 1000 people applied. There's only 10 cabana servers!' She continued: 'For the audition they set up a fake pool deck, they tell you to load up trays and zig zag through the chairs. The trays are heavy with pitchers and our large cocktails are really large! I've definitely dropped drinks on people before, but on the whole I'm really good.' Love Island isn't the first time that Toni made headlines. She has ulcerative colitis, which meant she had to go to hospital the same day as her senior prom. 'They told me, 'You can't go' and then they said, 'Surprise, you're going to prom!' Nothing that exciting happens in Connecticut, so it was a big deal and a few articles were written about me,' she said. 'What I hope people see from me being on Love Island is that not all illnesses are visible. It doesn't have to hold you back, you can travel etc…I live my life day-to-day like anyone else.' Toni has described dating in America as a 'mess,' continuing 'I live in cities that are fast-paced and party places; Las Vegas and Florida [..] People are here for a good time, not a long time. I live in Sin City! I do love Las Vegas. I've met some of the greatest people I've ever met there. I'm willing to relocate, it would just break my heart to not have my job anymore.' When asked to describe any of her recent dates, Toni said they've been 'Really terrible.' She continued: 'The last date I went on was rubbish. He brought a friend, so I brought my sister. We said we're going to the bathroom and I blocked him and we ran out of the property. I like to be treated like a lady, going to nice spas in Vegas, being taken to nice restaurants. I'm still waiting to be taken on vacation for a date.' When it comes to her personal preferences, Toni says she wants to date a British guy because she's lived in three different US states and is still single. 'I have some British friends and they're pretty charming,' she said. 'I think all Americans love a good accent. British men are just more polite, with better manners.' At the end of the day, though, she says her requirements for a partner are pretty straight forward. 'Someone that can make me laugh – I'm super outgoing. And someone that's quite active. Maybe one day we could start our own family together,' she said. Yes! You can keep up to date with Toni's life at @tlaites20.
