An eye-watering £208 million was at stake in Tuesday night's EuroMillions draw, but once again, no-one struck it lucky in collecting the top prize. This follows the previous Friday's (June 6) draw where again, no-one claimed the jackpot.
As the jackpot has already hit the EuroMillions cap, it remains unchanged for this Friday, June 13. The winning numbers for Tuesday were 19, 36, 39, 40, 45 with the lucky stars being 05, 06. And the fact the top prize has still not been one is good news for people who don't quite match all the numbers.
Currently, the record for the largest UK National Lottery win is held by an anonymous player who bagged a whopping £195m jackpot on July 19, 2022. For our free daily briefing on the biggest issues facing the nation, sign up to the Wales Matters newsletter here
Just two months before this, Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester won £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket in the draw on May 10, 2022.
Following Joe and Jess, the third largest UK win was claimed by another anonymous ticket-holder who secured the £177m jackpot in the draw on November 26, 2024.
The biggest win so far in 2025 has been £83 million in January.

Speaking on the extraordinary £208m jackpot, Andy Carter, a senior advisor at National Lottery operator Allwyn, remarked: "A win of this magnitude would create the biggest National Lottery winner this country has ever seen - making a single UK winner instantly richer than the likes of Dua Lipa and Harry Kane while also landing them at the number one spot on the National Lottery's biggest wins list."
But as the jackpot keeps eluding everyone, that's great news if you don't quite match all the numbers, as a chunk of the overall prize fund filters down to the next prize tier, making those winnings way more than normal. There were four individuals across Europe who succeeded in matching five numbers and one lucky star on Tuesday, each scooping over £4.5m.
Furthermore, a dozen more snagged five main numbers to pocket upwards of £20,000 each.
With the jackpot hitting its cap, the upcoming Friday draw will again see raised stakes in lower-tier prize categories.
Andy added: "This Friday EuroMillions gets even bigger.
"Not only will we see the £208 million EuroMillions jackpot up for grabs – which would make the biggest-ever National Lottery winner – but there will also be an incredible 13 guaranteed UK millionaires made through EuroMillions Millionaire Maker."
He added a twist of optimism for the superstitious: "That's a not-so-unlucky Friday 13th for the lucky ticket-holders who end up bagging these life-changing prizes.
"Get your tickets early to ensure you'll be in with a chance of a massive life-changing win."
He further commented: "The EuroMillions jackpot is now capped, so any money that would have gone into increasing the jackpot now boosts prizes in the next winning prize tier, meaning that we could see multiple UK players banking huge prizes for matching just the five main numbers and one Lucky Star."
What happens if no-one wins the jackpot once more?
The maximum jackpot can only be offered five times before we reach a point where the money has to be won, whatever.
So on draw five at the maximum amount, if no-one bags the top prize, the full jackpot is shared between the winners in the prize tier below.
The jackpot then goes back to normal for draw six and we start all over again.

Bridgerton star describes horrific 'life and death' moment she fought off thief

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Bridgerton actress Genevieve Chenneour has shared insight into her horrific experience as she bravely defended herself from a prolific thief. The 27-year-old star's real-life drama was thoroughly modern as she fought off a phone thief in Joe & the Juice. Chenneour, who plays Clara Livingston in Netflix's beloved show, revealed on This Morning the moment which turned into a 'life and death' situation. She shared: 'I had a bit of a sixth sense that something wasn't quite right, as woman you have that kind of intuition, and I could feel people moving around me in a different way but I only became aware of it once the incident had happened.' Chenneour was waiting for her order at the chain cafe on Kensington High Street, London when the thief, who the Daily Mail identified as Zacariah Boulares, 18, quietly snuck up behind her and grabbed her phone, which was placed on the counter. Immediately, the actress sprang into action as she spun around and grabbed his arm while another man came to her aid. 'I did feel they were going back and forth trying to find a target, so they chose me,' she explained CCTV footage showed her freeing her phone from his grasp as she pushed him to the ground and fought back against the hooded criminal. 'I don't know if I would advise anybody else to do it,' Chenneour warned. 'I think I have very quick reactions, thanks to having three brothers growing up and I'm an aviated carded boxer. 'I think it just was an instinct, I also do a lot of fight training for work and acting… I thought that was a normal reaction and I read all the comments [from the CCTV footage] and realised, actually a lot of people would just let them take the phone.' At one point another man threatened to stab Chenneour, turning the incident into 'a real matter' which was 'life and death'. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video She continued: 'So, I did things like, I remember kicking him back with my leg to create space in case he had a weapon on him… It was just a life changing, crazy moment.' In court on May 29, Boulares pleaded guilty to stealing her phone as well as assaulting another customer. The actress previously told the Mail: 'They didn't expect me to stand up for myself – but I did.' 'I was left with a concussion just before the Screen Actors Guild Awards and since then, I've felt constantly on edge,' she shared. 'Even my dog was traumatised – now, if anyone touches me, he panics and tries to protect me. Getting a coffee shouldn't be something you need your wits about you for.' Chenneour added that she was thankful to the staff in store who were 'incredible' during the incident, and she has returned to see since. She retrained as an actress after winning an Olympic scholarship to train for Team GB's artistic swimming team at the age of 15. Unfortunately, an injury prevented her from going pro but after being a stunt double for underwater scenes in Gateway To The West she landed a role on Bridgerton. Boulares reportedly also threatened Aled Jones with a machete 18 months prior, as he stole the star's £17,000 Rolex watch while in West London. He was jailed for 14 months in a young offenders centre after the incident in October 2023, getting released 10 months early. At the hearing regarding Chenneour's case, he also admitted to stealing a handbag at a pizza restaurant in London's West End in January this year. In a message on her Instagram, the Bridgerton debutante thanked fans for their support after the attack. 'I'm okay and incredibly grateful he won't be able to harm anyone else,' she said. 'I am, however, finding it difficult to feel safe going out – especially after being repeatedly threatened with being stabbed in the face.' This second man has been released due to a lack of evidence and won't be going to court, according to the star. A spokesman for the Met Police said: 'Police were called to a restaurant on Kensington High Street on Saturday, 8 February following reports of a theft and an assault. 'CCTV showed the suspect stealing a phone from the table and then assaulting a separate member of the public who confronted him. More Trending 'The victim of the assault was kicked and punched before the suspect left the premises. 'CCTV enquiries identified Zacariah Boulares as the suspect and he was arrested. Boulares, 18, was charged with common assault and theft.' View More » He will be sentenced later this month. Got a story? Genevieve - who plays Clara Livingston in the hit Netflix show - revealed that the "full on scrap" lasted for about five minutes. She pinned the 18-year-old thief to the floor but has now said he threatened to stab her. "I was threatened with being stabbed, so it became a matter of life and death," she told ITV. "I remember kicking him back with my leg to create space in case he had a weapon on him." She described it as a "life-changing, crazy moment". The star said the ordeal has left her feeling scared to venture outside and she has even left her home in the capital to take a "break" from the lawless city. Astonishing footage from police showed Genevieve grabbing Boulares' shoulder as she realised her phone had been taken. She then tackled the serial thief to the ground with the help of another customer. Genevieve managed to take her phone back from Boulares before repeatedly hitting him with it in the posh cafe. She previously claimed she suffered a concussion in the horror in February and said even her dog was "traumatised". The star added: "They didn't expect me to stand up for myself – but I did." Algerian national Boulares previously pleaded guilty to stealing the phone. The teen also admitted common assault against fellow Joe and the Juice customer Carlo Kurcishi, who had stepped in to help. Boulares pleaded guilty to a separate charge of theft after he swiped a black leather hand bag from a diner at a pizza restaurant. The court heard he has 12 previous convictions for a total of 28 offences - all relating to theft. His rap sheet includes threatening to cut off Aled Jones' arm while stealing his £17,000 Rolex. The Songs of Praise presenter, 52, was out with his son Lucas when he was targeted near their home in Chiswick, South West London. Boulares - then aged 16 - pulled out 20 inch machete and repeatedly threatened Aled in a bid to steal the luxury timepiece. He told him: "Give me your f***king Rolex or I will cut your arm off." Aled handed over the £17,000 Rolex Daytona watch rather than fight with the armed robber. He and his son bravely followed the 6ft teen but when he spotted them, he snarled: "Walk the other way or I will cut your head off." Boulares was given a two year training and detention order after pleading guilty to robbery at Ealing Youth Court. But he was released from youth detention early after serving just 14 months of his 24-month sentence. He will be sentenced for robbing Genevieve on June 17 at Isleworth Crown Court.
