Macy's Fourth of July show to feature Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Lenny Kravitz and Trisha Yearwood

NEW YORK (AP) — Macy's will celebrate America's independence with a 4th of July fireworks show live on NBC featuring Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Lenny Kravitz, Ava Max, Keke Palmer and Trisha Yearwood. The 49th edition of the nation's largest July 4th celebration in New York City will fire more than 80,000 shells in 30 vibrant colors and offer state-of-the-art projection mapping on the Brooklyn Bridge. The 25-minute fireworks show will be set to a musical score produced by Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson and James Poyser. The celebration will be hosted by Ariana DeBose, a Broadway veteran who has hosted the Tony Awards three times. The fireworks will be fired from four barges on the lower East River and the pyrotechnics will reach 1,000 feet (305 meters). The light show will also celebrate the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. "We light the sky and create tradition, bringing millions across the country together for shared experience and memory,' Will Coss, Macy's 4th of July Fireworks executive producer, said in a statement. TV viewers can tune in on NBC or see it simulcast live on Peacock at 8 p.m.—10 p.m. ET/7:00— 9:00 p.m. CT/MT. A Spanish language simulcast will air on Telemundo at 9 p.m. ET. Look for fireworks in the shape of crown jellyfish, atomic rings, yellow and green sunbursts and strobing lemon cascades.

Bruce Springsteen's Blockbuster Albums Storm The Charts Together

Bruce Springsteen is spending the summer traveling around Europe, performing dates on his Land of Hope and Dreams tour. The trek began two years ago under the name Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 2023–2025 Tour, but when he picked up the guitar again in mid-May, he later renamed the venture and brought it to the United Kingdom. Springsteen and company recently played dates in Liverpool, marking his return to the nation, and this move has spurred a buying frenzy of his catalog. Half a dozen of Springsteen's albums appear on at least one chart apiece in the U.K. this week. Four of those titles return to the rankings, becoming bestselling releases once more. Born in the USA is the only one of Springsteen's titles that returns to a sales list and appears inside the top 40. The early-career classic breaks back onto the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 35. It also lands at No. 79 on the Official Albums Sales list after not appearing on that tally at all just a few days ago. Greatest Hits also reappears on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts, where it can be found at Nos. 49 and 83, respectively. At the same time, the compilation rockets from No. 80 to No. 7 on the Official Album Downloads ranking – reaching a new high point in the process. Yet another compilation, titled simply Best Of, jumps back onto both the Official Albums Streaming list and the Official Albums chart. On those tallies, the compilation can be found at Nos. 84 and 93, respectively. Springsteen's catalog is so popular that one collection of smash singles isn't enough for the nation. The River is the only one of Springsteen's comebacks that doesn't make a home on several rankings. This time around, it only reenters the Official Album Downloads chart, where it comes in at No. 72. In addition to his quartet of returning favorites, one of Springsteen's oldest projects — his breakout set Born to Run — manages to debut on the downloads-only tally. The career-making set launches at No. 92, decades after it was first unveiled to the world.
