Sayyed al-Sadr: The Palestinian Revolution Shall Remain Etched in the Hearts of the Faithful
Holy Najaf – INA
The leader of the National Shiite Movement, Sayyed Muqtada al-Sadr, affirmed on Friday that the Palestinian revolution will forever remain alive in the hearts of the believers.
In the central Friday sermon delivered across Iraq, Sayyed al-Sadr declared:
"The Palestinian revolution shall remain eternal in the hearts of the faithful, of Muslims, and indeed in the heart of every lover of humanity."
Below is the full text of the sermon, as received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The Palestinian revolution shall remain immortal in the hearts of the believers and Muslims—nay, in the heart of every soul who cherishes the essence of humanity. For what the terrorist Zionist enemy perpetrates—bolstered by the Great Evil, America—has shattered every divine, rational, and human law. It has surpassed even the atrocities of history's most ruthless tyrants, both near and far.
The current global forces of evil have exceeded the deeds of the ancient Pharaohs in their enslavement, humiliation, and desecration of human dignity. They have robbed even children, women, civilians, and humanitarian workers of their right to life. They have defied the very foundations of human rights in a manner that gives precise meaning to the word perversion.
The Zionist-American war machine continues to annihilate all that stands in its path—hospitals, mosques, churches—without remorse. And worse yet, they hasten to justify these crimes under the pretext of combating terrorism. Yet, they are the very embodiment of terrorism. But they are ignorant people.
Despite all this, they present themselves as champions of democracy, freedom, and a so-called 'Abrahamic religion.' Yet, Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) is free from their claims. As the Almighty said:
"Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a monotheist, a Muslim, and he was not among the polytheists."
Truly, the words of Allah stand affirmed:
"You will surely find the most hostile of people to the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists. And you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers to be those who say, 'We are Christians.' That is because among them are priests and monks, and because they are not arrogant."
This enmity between truth and falsehood will endure as long as we draw breath.
Yet what is essential—what is most vital—is that we unite upon our truth so that they may disperse upon their falsehood. Only then shall we preserve our dignity and avert humiliation.
For this humiliation is displeasing to Allah , to His Messenger, to his purified Household, and to his righteous companions.
Otherwise, Gaza of Hashim and the whole of Palestine shall be sold once again. Its people will face exile—by force or otherwise—under the watchful eyes of Arab and Islamic governments. The curse of Gaza will follow us until the Day of Judgment.
And on that day, regret shall be of no avail.

Editor Of Qatari Government Daily: Hamas Must Not Disarm – It Will Defeat Israel With The Strength Of Its Weapons Like The Taliban Defeated Both The U.S. And The West
According to numerous recent reports in Arab media, a demand to disarm has been presented to Hamas, as part of the contacts for a ceasefire in Gaza, and this demand was rejected by Hamas officials.[1] Joining Hamas in its position are journalists in Qatar, who call the weapons of the Palestinian resistance an "existential necessity" that "are not to be bargained over"; they also refer to them as "honor" and that "relinquishing them is humiliation" and as a means that "caused heavy losses to the occupation." Particularly noticeable among these journalists was the position of Jabar Al-Harmi, editor of the Al-Sharq government daily, who called on Hamas not to give up its weapons and not to disavow its October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, because "what was taken by force will be restored only by force." He called on Hamas to act like the Taliban in Afghanistan, which despite its sacrifices never gave up its weapons and, "armed from head to toe," forced the U.S. to sit at the negotiating table with it to discuss "not what it [the U.S.] would achieve and what it would gain, but how it would escape [from Afghanistan]." Hamas's holding on to its weapons, he said, would stop Israel from recovering from October 7; he added that in any case, Israel's disappearance was nearer than people think. It should be noted that Al-Harmi also holds antisemitic views and has called for the destruction of Israel. In his articles in the newspaper, and on his X account, he regularly expresses support for Hamas and its October 7, 2023 attack, in which 1,200 were killed and 251 were taken to Gaza as hostages.[2] This mirrors Qatar's absolute support for Hamas.[3] Cartoon in Qatari daily Al-Quds Al-Arabi: Resistance fighter stands fast against attempts to take "the weapons of the resistance" from him. (Source: Al-Quds Al-Arabi, London, April 25, 2025) This report will present the positions of writers in Qatar on the subject of the "weapons of the resistance," particularly the position of Al-Sharq editor Jabar Al-Harmi: Al-Sharq Editor Al-Harmi On X, May 24, 2025: Like The Taliban, Hamas Must Not Give Up Its Weapons – And Must Not Disavow Its October 7 Attack Al-Sharq editor Jabar Al-Harmi called on Hamas not to give up its weapons and not to disavow its October 7, 2023 attack. He likened Hamas's situation to that of the Afghan Taliban, who never relinquished their weapons and even, he said, forced the U.S. to negotiate with them by force of their weapons, in addition to "defeating Russia and then the U.S. and the West all together" who today seek "the love of the Afghans – love that comes by force of arms." In a May 24, 2025 post on X, Al-Harmi wrote: "Had the Afghans agreed to solutions of submission during the invasion of their country by two of the strongest countries – the U.S.S.R. in 1979 and the U.S. in 2002 [sic[4]] – and had they said 'We have no strength against these two countries, we are a poor country, and if we are in a position of inferiority, we have no weapons and the world is set against us,' they would not today have a state that is respected by all those who invaded them previously. "The Afghans opposed [the invaders] with their force and might, defeating Russia and then the U.S. and the West all together. Although the invaders used the most criminal weapons, including weapons banned by international conventions, the Afghans did not surrender, despite all the victims. This is what ultimately forced the invaders to sit at the negotiating table with them, by force of arms – not to negotiate over what it [the U.S.] would achieve and what it would gain, but how it would escape [from Afghanistan]. "This did not happen by virtue of the Afghans' consent to disarm – it was by virtue of their strong opposition to the invaders and their defense by means of everything they had, and by means of the weapons of the enemies that they had seized. This is the path to liberation. What was taken by force will be restored only by force, and anything else is an attempt to anesthetize and distract the occupied peoples. Today, Russia and the U.S. seek the love of the Afghans – a love that comes by force of arms. "Consent to disarm the resistance in Gaza and to disavow the October 7 [attack] means that the enemy [Israel] will revive, [and will continue to exist] for the next 100 years. Even if the Palestinian people is wounded, and if the Gazans are dead, do not think that the enemy is relaxed – on the contrary, its fear is greater, and it is now focusing on its entity's future. Will this entity, which is [weaker than] a spiderweb,[5] survive, or will it disappear and not see out its eighth decade? Its disappearance is nearer than you think. 'If you should be suffering – so are they suffering as you are suffering' – but the difference [between the two comes at the end of the verse]: 'You have hope of reward, help, and support from Allah, which they cannot hope for.'[6]"[7] Post by Jaber Al-Harmi ( May 24, 2025) Al-Harmi On X, April 14, 2025: The "Weapons Of The Resistance" In Gaza Are Not For Sale And Are Nonnegotiable In a previous X post, on April 14, 2025, Al-Harmi rejected the demand that Hamas disarm, using the same parallel to the Taliban's refusal to negotiate over disarming. He wrote: "The resistance in Gaza, whether Hamas or another [resistance movement], will not fall into the trap of disarmament, no matter what guarantees [it receives]... "[In the case of the] Taliban in Afghanistan, the U.S. tried to set this [disarmament] as the main condition for negotiations, [but the] Taliban would not negotiate at all about this, and the U.S. was forced to go back to the negotiating table with the Taliban while the latter was armed from head to toe. They told the U.S.: 'It was only the weapons that brought you to sit at the negotiating table with us. Therefore, the resistance must not negotiate over its weapons in any way.' The weapons of the resistance in Gaza are not for sale and are nonnegotiable."[8] Article In Al-Sharq, April 23, 2025: The Weapons Of The Resistance Are An Existential Necessity And An Influential Means Of Action Opposition to disarming Hamas was also seen in many articles in the Qatari government press. For example, Palestinian writer Hadir Rashad explained in his column in Al-Sharq, under the headline "The Weapons Of The Resistance Are Not For Bargaining," that "it is not easy to raise the issue of disarming the resistance without this proposal crashing into the obvious wall of reality, according to which weapons in the hands of peoples under occupation are not a choice but an existential necessity... The weapons of the resistance in Gaza will never be a mere symbol or slogan – they are an influential means of action that caused the occupation heavy losses in lives and in [its] economy... "The call to disarm the resistance in Palestine before the occupation departs is a call for surrender, not peace; for permanent consent to the aggression and not for stopping it; for apparent calm whose hidden meaning is seizing the trump card from the hands of the people that has only force of will and arms."[9] Article In Al-Watan, May 16, 2025: Weapons Are Honor, Relinquishing Them Is Humiliation In his May 16, 2025 column in the Qatari government daily Al-Watan, Palestinian writer Samir Al-Barghouti presented the results of a Palestinian poll that showed widespread Palestinian support for Hamas amid the decline in the prestige of the Palestinian Authority and of Fatah. He stated that "82% of the Palestinian [respondents] said that they oppose handing over the weapons of the resistance." He summarized the survey, stating: "Since the first and second intifadas, and the [Al-Aqsa] Flood [the October 7 attack], Palestinians have believed that they have no other choice but resistance, and that weapons are honor, and relinquishing them is humiliation."[10]

In Speeches, Pakistan Army Chief Gen. Asim Munir Warns India: 'Three Wars Have Been Fought For Kashmir, And If Ten More Need To Be Fought...'; 'Kashmir Will Become Pakistan'
In recent months, Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir delivered at least four major speeches – two of which appear to have triggered the April 22 jihadi terror attack at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir – and in the remaining two he engaged in denial about the rights of the people of Balochistan and warned India that Pakistan will never compromise on Kashmir.[1] The April 22, 2025, terror attack at Pahalgam, in which male Hindu tourists were singled out and shot dead by jihadi terrorists. India launched airstrikes on the night of May 6-7 on nine terror shelters in Pakistan and Pakistan-controlled Kashmir[2] resulting in a four-day Pakistan-India war before a ceasefire agreement was reached.[3] The Kashmir attack seems to have been directly caused by a speech Munir delivered exactly a week earlier on April 15 in Islamabad to an audience of overseas Pakistanis in which he said that Hindus and Muslims are different nations, that Muslims belong to a superior ideology and a superior culture, and that Kashmir will remain the jugular vein of Pakistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif (third from left) and Army Chief General Asim Munir (second from right) addressed the grand jirga of tribal elders in Quetta, Balochistan, on June 1, 2025 Another major speech by Munir, which seems to have contributed to the terror attack at Pahalgam in Kashmir, was delivered on February 5, 2025, the annual Kashmir Solidarity Day, in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-controlled Kashmir. Munir was blunt in his warning to India, the severity of which should have alerted Indian leadership that something major was going to happen in Kashmir, namely the April 22 attack at Pahalgam. In the speech, he warned India that "three wars have been fought for Kashmir, and if ten more need to be fought, we will fight, Allah willing." Following the May 7-10, 2025 Pakistan-India war, the Pakistan army chief, who has now been promoted to the rank of field marshall, has delivered two speeches. In one, he addressed Pakistani educators on May 29, saying: "It is no longer possible for India to suppress the Kashmir dispute as it is a global issue." He reiterated his warning: "India must understand that Pakistan will neither forget Kashmir nor abandon it." In the second speech, on June 1, Munir addressed an assembly of tribal elders from Balochistan in Quetta, the capital city. Addressing the delegates, Munir blamed India for supporting Baloch nationalists, who are fighting for the independence of Balochistan, and said: "This Indian-sponsored proxy war is no longer hidden." Following are excerpts from the four speeches: Munir On June 1: "The Pakistan Army, With The Unwavering Support Of The Nation And The Brave Baloch People, Will Confront And Crush Every Enemy" Addressing a grand jirga of tribal elders on June 1, 2025, in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, Munir said: "This Indian-sponsored proxy war is no longer hidden; it is an open malicious act of terrorism waged on our people, our progress, and our peace. We have concrete proof of India's hand behind terrorist networks operating in Balochistan."[4] "These nefarious attempts of the enemy will fail. The Pakistan Army, with the unwavering support of the nation and the brave Baloch people, will confront and crush every enemy, foreign or domestic, that dares to challenge our sovereignty," Munir said.[5] According to a statement released by the Office of the Prime Minister, "the jirga concluded with a unanimous pledge from tribal elders to stand shoulder to shoulder with the government and the armed forces, reaffirming their commitment to peace, security, and development in Balochistan."[6] Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who spoke alongside the army chief, told the gathering: "The enemies of peace will find no space to operate within Pakistan. Our message to them is clear: the government, armed forces, law enforcement agencies and administrative apparatus, with the complete backing of the people, will take the nation's fight against terrorism to its logical conclusion – defeating terrorism in a decisive manner."[7] Munir On May 29: "Pakistan Was Blessed As It Got Help From Allah Almighty During The Marka-e-Haq [The Battle Of Truth, i.e., The May 7-10 War With India]" Munir, addressing vice-chancellors from various universities, principals, and senior educators on May 29, 2025 – made it "thoroughly clear that Pakistan would never make any compromise on the Kashmir dispute" and added that "India must understand that Pakistan will neither forget Kashmir nor abandon it."[8] Warning that "it is no longer possible for India to suppress the Kashmir dispute as it is a global issue," the Pakistan army chief said that "Pakistan would never accept India's hegemony" and in a criticism of India's suspension of the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) said that water is a "red line" for Pakistan and it cannot compromise on the fundamental right of 240 million Pakistanis.[9] According to a Pakistani media report, he said that "Pakistan was blessed as it got help from Allah almighty during the Marka-e-Haq [the Battle of Truth, i.e., the May 7-10, 2025, war with India]" and rejected India's concern that Pakistan was sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that "terrorism is India's internal issue, which is primarily caused by increasing oppression and discrimination against minorities, especially Muslims."[10] Munir rejected the struggle of Baloch nationalist fighters, saying that "terrorists in Balochistan were backed by India and they have no connection with Baloch."[11] Munir On April 15: "Don't You Ever Forget That You Belong To A Superior Ideology And A Superior Culture"; "[Kashmir] Was Our Jugular Vein, It Is Our Jugular Vein – We Will Not Forget It" Speaking on April 15, Munir told Pakistanis living overseas and gathered at a convention in Islamabad that Islamic civilization is superior to the West, stating: "Our beloved [ones] who are [based] overseas, because you live in different civilizations, don't you ever forget that you belong to a superior ideology and a superior culture."[12] April 15: General Asim Munir addresses overseas Pakistanis in Islamabad This speech – a full translation of which was published by MEMRI – was delivered only one week before the April 22 terror attacks at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing Pakistanis based overseas, the Pakistan army chief outlined a religious ideological position against India and Hindus, saying: "You must tell the story of Pakistan to your children so that they do not forget the story of Pakistan. Our forefathers thought that we are different from the Hindus in every possible aspect of life. Our religion is different. Our customs are different. Our traditions are different. Our thoughts are different. Our ambitions are different. That was the foundation of the Two-Nation Theory that was laid there, that we are two nations, we are not one nation."[13] Munir added: "Our stance, government's stance on Kashmir is absolutely clear; it was our jugular vein, it is our jugular vein. We will not forget it. And we will not leave our Kashmiri brethren in their heroic struggle that they are waging against the Indian occupation. We have fought three wars for Kashmir."[14] Munir On February 5: "The Bond Between Kashmir And Pakistan Is Inseparable. Kashmir Was, And Will Always Remain, A Part Of Pakistan" Earlier on February 5, 2025, Munir delivered another speech in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistani Kashmir, to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day. Reiterating a statement by Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah that "Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan," the army chief warned India: "Cutting the jugular vein from the body means the end of life. Muslims are never impressed by the number of enemies or weapons. Allah's group [of Muslim fighters] will always prevail based on faith, piety, and jihad in the way of Allah."[15] In the speech, a translation of which was published by MEMRI, Munir stated: "The flame of freedom has been passed down from one generation of Kashmiris to the next. If we remain united and strong, we can overcome every challenge. Allah almighty has blessed the land of Kashmir with natural beauty and resources."[16] February 5, 2025: Pakistan army chief Munir speaks in Muzaffarabad Pakistani media reports show that Munir was more blunt in his warning to India, stating: "Today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or in the near future, you may commit atrocities in occupied Kashmir, but this will not go on forever. The decision of Kashmir must be made by the people of Kashmir, not by any occupying force in Kashmir. Three wars have been fought for Kashmir, and if ten more need to be fought, we will fight, Allah willing."[17] The army chief declared that ultimately Kashmir will become part of Pakistan. "Kashmir will become Pakistan. The bond between Kashmir and Pakistan is inseparable. Kashmir was, and will always remain, a part of Pakistan."[18] Munir added: "Indian atrocities [in Kashmir] and the rising Hindutva extremism [targeting Muslims in India] further strengthen the Kashmiri people's struggle for self-determination. Pakistan will always stand with the people of Kashmir in their legitimate and rightful cause against state oppression and tyranny. And surely, one day, Kashmir will be free and, according to the independent will and destiny of its people, will become a part of Pakistan."[19]
