Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards: Meet the winter athlete nominees

The Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards, presented by Piggly Wiggly, is proud to announce player of the year nominees for the winter sports season.
The winners will be announced during the live show June 20 at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay. We'll announce our celebrity guest soon.

The event is produced with the support of Cellcom and Prevea Health.
During the live show, these nominees will be honored, along with player of the year nominees and winners from the fall and spring sports seasons. The fall nominees have already been announced and can be found here.
The show will also announce the winners of our premier awards, which includes boys athlete of the year, girls athlete of the year, boys team of the year, girls team of the year, coach of the year and our Courage Award recipient.
The Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards, Presented by Piggly Wiggly, are part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards program.
Nominated athletes who RSVP for the event will receive a free ticket thanks to our sponsors. Additional tickets also are free this year courtesy of Prevea Health. Tickets can be obtained here.

The Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards is part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, the largest high school sports recognition program in the country.
The show will recognize prep athletes, coaches and teams in the Appleton, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Manitowoc, Marshfield, Oshkosh, Sheboygan, Stevens Point, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids markets for their achievements during the 2024-25 school year.

Former Boston Bruins goalie Andrew Raycroft is the guest speaker at the 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards. The 2024-25 Central Mass High School Sports Awards is happy to announce that former Boston Bruins rookie of the year Andrew Raycroft is the guest speaker for the live event on June 25 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Raycroft is a former Bruins goaltender who won the Calder Trophy with the club in 2004 as rookie of the year. Advertisement In all, he played in 11 NHL seasons, including with the Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars, winning 113 games. Since 2014, he has been a volunteer assistant coach for UConn, and is a studio analyst for the Bruins. He is the host of a hockey podcast entitled Morning Bru with Jaffe and Razor. Texas Longhorns place kicker Will Stone (15) kicks off in the fourth quarter as the Texas Longhorns play the Arizona State Sun Devils in the Peach Bowl College Football Playoff quarterfinal at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, Jan. 1, 2025. The 2024-25 Austin Area High School Sports Awards, Presented by Thomas J. Henry Law, are happy to announce Texas Longhorns kicker Will Stone as the guest speaker for its live show on June 6 at The Long Center: Dell Hall. Entering his senor season this fall, Stone has played in 43 games so far in his career, mostly on kickoffs. Advertisement This past season, he kicked off 98 times for 6,236 yards, with a career-high 56 touchbacks. The Austin Area High School Sports Awards, Presented by Thomas J. Henry Law, is part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards program. He also handled extra point duties in Texas' national semifinal game against Ohio State, going 2-for-2.
