Home Bargains now selling £4.80 item you'd usually only see in USA
The chain is quite popular across the United States - but it's not something that many Brits will be familiar with
Home Bargains shoppers are thrilled after spotting a food item for sale on shelves in the UK that is normally only available in America. Fans of a specific USA chain are very happy and eager to stock their cupboards with the newly-released product.
TikTok user Chloé-Ann (@kmaesthetics_) posted a short clip and wrote: "Omg yes!!! Home Bargains giving us the Chick Fil-A sauce". The video was posted on Tuesday (May 27) and has quickly racked up more than 620k views and hundreds of comments.
The fast food chain is famed for its chicken sandwiches and its own line of sauces that customers can buy in bulk bottles to take home. According to the American website, the classic Chick-fil-A sauce is "a classic dipping sauce with notes of mustard and a smoky tang."
While it's available to order from Amazon and other online retailers, Home Bargains surprised fans of the chain with full jumbo 16oz (454ml) bottles on shop shelves. Reacting to Chloé-Ann's video, one person said: "I hate that we get the sauce before an actual Chick-fil-A—that place is so goooood!"
Last year, Chick Fil-A bosses announced Belfast, Leeds, Liverpool and London as the chosen locations where the first UK stores would open. To date, there are more than 3,000 restaurants across the US, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Another added: "Omg I just came back from the US with this. I could've saved my suitcase space! It's $3.70 there!" A third wrote: "Running to find it now!"
Someone else put: "This best not be a joke!" and another said: "Oh my god! Ours from NYC just ran out. This is the best news all week!"
In Home Bargains, the sauce is listed for sale at £4.79. This is advertised as a markdown from a regular price of £9.97, which saves shoppers £5.18.
A fifth asked: "Does it taste like mayo?" They were told by another TikTok user: "It's more of a sweet smoky mustard than mayo." And, there was one more who put: "Seeing this just before I was gonna order from Amazon for double the price! Thank you for sharing!" There was another fan who posted: "My bottle just ran out! THIS A SIGN!"
Home Bargains appears to only have one original variety of the fast food sauce in stock. There are four more versions available from the brand, including Barbecue, Honey Mustard, Polynesian and Garden Ranch.
As with all StarBuy items in Home Bargains, stock will be limited, so people wanting to get their hands on a bottle of this sauce will have to be quick. Shoppers can look online for a selection of what is offered in Home Bargains stores across the UK.

Why the president must not be lexicographer-in-chief
ON MAY 28TH a specialist American court for international trade struck down many of Donald Trump's tariffs. It did so on several legal grounds, including linguistic ones. As in so many cases, the two sides in the case presented different views on what several words mean. The next day another court temporarily stayed the decision. The tariffs remain in effect but the legal question remains.

How Rangers will spend £20m investment from US consortium
Cavenagh will serve as chairman while 49ers Enterprises president Paraag Marathe will be vice-chairman. Cavenagh told the Rangers website: "We are deeply grateful for the trust placed in us by the Rangers Board, shareholders, staff, and supporters. This club's history and traditions speak for themselves, but history doesn't win matches. "We know that the true way to honour the club's heritage will be to drive performance. Our focus is simple: elevate performance, deliver results, and bring Rangers back to where it belongs - at the top." Marathe added: 'At 49ers Enterprises, we have built a track record of sporting and business success, but our driving motivation is our deep connection to the clubs and communities we serve. "We are excited to join Andrew and our other consortium of investors in a new era for this iconic club, and we are determined to build something that supporters can be proud of for years to come.' Read more: Rangers takeover complete as 49ers Enterprises seal deal and statement released Rangers can now live the American dream, but what are the big financial challenges? One thing Rangers fans will be wondering is just how the initial investment will be spent. The £20m will not just be provided as a warchest to be splashed in the transfer market, though the injection of cash will certainly help in that regard. Rangers Review have reported that the initial priority for the new owners is to improve on-pitch fortunes and so a decent chunk of the cash will be put forward to do so. Significant investment in the squad is expected and it will likely be another busy summer for Ibrox's revolving door. The investors' long-term goal is to work towards long-term financial sustainability. In recent years, wealthy investors and supporters have plugged gaps through share issues and loans that have been converted to equity. The fresh inject of funds will allow the club to have stability in their planning.
