Mother's Day gold: One of the best digital photo frames we've tested is $50 — that's 45% off
My mom lives over a thousand miles away and asks for more photos of her granddaughter at least once a week. Texting them one by one works — until I forget. That's why the YunQiDeer Frameo 10.1-inch WiFi Digital Picture Frame has become the ultimate Mother's Day gift. With a free app (no subscriptions, ever), I can send photos and short videos straight to her frame in seconds. Better yet, it's just $50 right now — nearly 45% off.
(Need some more ideas on what to give your mom? Whether you're looking for an inexpensive gift under $50, want to surprise your mom with an unforgettable experience or you're just trying to avoid a Mother's Day gifting faux pas, we've got you covered.)
At $50, the Frameo is just shy of its lowest price ever. When you consider that most other digital picture frames still hover between $60 and $70 on sale, this one's a steal. Plus, with its user-friendly features, you're getting serious bang for your buck.
If your idea of digital photo frames is stuck in the past, it's time to catch up. The Frameo is miles ahead of those clunky models from a decade ago, with way more features and a far easier setup. No need for cables — you can send photos and up to 15-second videos from anywhere, thanks to the free app. The 1280x800 high-definition display makes everything look crisp, whether it's a smile, a messy face or a dance party in the living room.
With 16GB of built-in storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD), it holds thousands of pictures and videos. Plus, it looks sharp from almost any angle with a 178-degree viewing range — none of that washed-out nonsense. It won't matter whether the image is portrait or landscape, either. Frameo automatically rotates images to the correct position.
On top of that, you can zoom in, add captions, adjust brightness and more. It's fully customizable, making it a perfect way to keep your favorite moments on display. We're all taking more pictures than ever, so why not showcase them in style?
Yahoo Senior Tech Writer Rick Broida tested the Frameo, and it cracked his list of the best digital photo frames of 2025. "I was pleased to find a complete, informative instruction manual in the box," he said of setting up this gadget. "And it's not just for the frame; it also focuses on the Frameo companion app, which is used to upload photos. ... I like that it can do two important things that some more expensive frames can't: Auto-size photos (either globally or individually) and export all your photos to external storage. All told, I'm pretty impressed by what you get for the money here."
With over 1,800 five-star ratings, the Frameo is a popular gadget — and it's so very giftable.
"I got my mom a Frameo, and it has been a game changer," wrote one five-star fan and thoughtful child. "I couldn't resist getting one for myself ... The app works seamlessly, allowing me to send photos to my mom's frame and upload countless pictures to my own. It's such a thoughtful way to stay connected with loved ones. .... The setup process was a breeze."
And don't let geography get in the way of your getting this frame. This dutiful daughter didn't: "I got this for my parents when I moved out of state. Easy enough to set up on the phone with them. Easy to send photos too. You can delete old ones from your app so they just have to sit back and enjoy the photos."
There's even a social aspect to the frame. "You can interact with images and videos that are sent to you by touching the screen and adding emojis back to the sender. So fun!" one fan said.
The design could still use a bit of work, says this reviewer: "It must be plugged in (as I would expect); however, the cord isn't very long and the plug that goes into the outlet is big and bulky."
Another shopper said they wished it could go cordless altogether. "I wouldn't mind if it took batteries so I could place it anywhere."
The reviews quoted above reflect the most recent versions at the time of publication.

Does 'John Wick 5' Come Next After 'Ballerina'?
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." THE franchise is going strong. Now spanning five movies and a TV series (and counting), it's clear that this is not only a violent, unique, and action-packed world, but one with just about endless possibilities. In fact, the latest film, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina (or, as we'll refer to it to avoid that clunky title, Ballerina) is proof that the franchise can explore new ground and succeed even without the titular Mr. Wick himself. Sure, Keanu Reeves is in the movie, but the main character is Ana de Armas's Eve—and watching her kick ass in a Wick-esque manner should fill any Keanu-size holes in your heart in the meantime. It's clear that the Wick franchise will continue from here—it's just unknown in what direction. This is a series and brand that's now been making Lionsgate lots of money for over a decade, and with multiple recognizable stars in the fold, there are a bunch of ways things could go. For example, we know that we could do another John Wick movie, and now it seems more than possible that we could do another Ballerina movie. But there's also a spinoff film coming on the John Wick: Chapter 4 character Caine, played by Donnie Yen, which will also star Rina Sawayama's Akira (Yen will also direct). We've already gone down the road of a prequel; the little-watched limited series The Continental focused on the exploits of a younger Winston (Ian McShane). So that's probably not a road that will particularly be gone down, though Wick director Chad Stahelski and McShane don't think particularly highly of it. So maybe don't rule out some kind of re-do. Again: the possibilities do feel kind of endless. But we know the primary question that everyone is going to be asking after Ballerina—will we be getting John Wick 5? And at this time we do seem to have a pretty definitive answer. From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. It picks up the character of "The Director," played by Angelica Huston, who was introduced in Chapter 3, and, perhaps most notably, includes Keanu Reeves as played by John Wick. This is the key part of the equation, considering John Wick dies at the end of Chapter 4. That would seem to signify a closed book, right? But as we've established, the possibilities in this world are pretty endless. Most likely. Despite the titular character's death at the end of John Wick: Chapter 4, Lionsgate officially announced that John Wick 5 was in the works at this year's CinemaCon back in April. That being said, director Chad Stahelski is still a little apprehensive that the film will actually get made—because he wants to make sure it's as good as it can possibly be. "Look, everybody seems to want it," he said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "It's a matter of whether we crack it. We're actively working on it. It's just … is it going to be satisfying?" Throughout the conversation Stahelski repeatedly suggested that while they're early in the process on John Wick 5, it's still just that—early in the process. And that he hasn't even officially brought the idea to Reeves yet. Stahelski is meticulous, and holds himself to a high standard. And so he doesn't want to proceed with something until it's actually ready to proceed. "If we go down the road of John Wick 5 and build this story and decide this isn't right, there are probably going to be 10 other things we'll discover that we'll use for other things," he says. Which implies it still could not happen. But, he says, sooner or later, it probably will. "The studio would very much will it into existence, I'm sure, at some point," he says. "Look, they've been great and they've asked us to really try and we have a really good couple of ideas and we're going to try." But still, they are very early on. And it seems like for now the Caine spinoff, which has Donnie Yen attached to star and direct, Rina Sawayama attached to reprise her Akira character, and Mattson Tomlin attached to write, is much further along in production, and will certainly come first. Now that much truly remains to be seen. But it would feel like kind of a missed opportunity if it didn't, right? Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas are both bona fide movie stars, and scenes between the two of them are action magic. Let's say Wick 5 opens up with John Wick fighting his way up from hell. Might be a little tricky for him to meet up with Eve down there, but once he gets back to the surface, it feels like a pretty good bet that we'll see these two together (and with guns at each other's throats) again. Jessica Simpson Gets Emotional Over Lookalike Daughter Maxwell's Major Milestone
Where did time go? Jessica Simpson's eldest daughter Maxwell, 13, just celebrated a major milestone and mom is all in her feelings. Simpson celebrated Maxwell's graduation from the sixth grade on June 3 with a sweet mother-daughter Instagram selfie. The golden light of the day shined bright on the twinning family members. Simpson looked radiant with her long, blonde locks gently framing her face while Maxwell adorably made a funny face. More from SheKnows Why Malia Obama Quietly Dropped Her Last Name - And What Michelle Really Thinks About It 'Let the good times roll into the 7th grade my beautiful Maxwell Drew 🎓✨💛,' wrote the proud mom in the caption. Simpson, who shares Maxwell, son Ace, 11, and daughter Birdie, 6, with estranged husband Eric Johnson, often speaks about how motherhood shaped her adult life, especially when it comes to body image. 'Raising Maxwell makes me realize that I don't want her to see me beat myself up for things like food choices or numbers on a scale,' she told People in 2013. 'Those things don't determine who we are and instead make us feel terrible about ourselves I want her to know her value, rather than spending her energy fighting negative voices from within.' The 44-year-old singer praised her teen daughter for being 'a leader, a doer, a protector, a light, a determined force, a lover of life, a goofball, a treasure, a creative, a care bear, a trusted wise old soul' in a May 11 Mother's Day post. She continued, 'Maxwell is indeed a drama free intuitive feelin' empath. She is an inspiration to all who know her, follow her and confide in her.' Simpson revealed that her mother, Tina, treated Maxwell to a Parisian trip in honor of her 13th birthday on May 1. '3 generations 3 connected hearts 3 spirit-filled souls 3 women who smile, laugh, and shine brighter through it all ✨💛💛💛✨,' gushed the 'I Wanna Love You Forever' singer. 'It is official…I AM THE MOTHER OF A TEENAGER, and I LOVE IT.'
