And one McDonald's in Singapore has even been named the world's most tranquil due to its stunning location.

The McDonald's at Ridout Tea Garden in Singapore boasts zen vibes on a Japanese-style pavilion overlooking a serene river.
This unique eatery a has been a prominent landmark in the area since 1989.
It was established inside the country's first Japanese-themed community garden and offers picturesque views for diners.
Ridout first began as Queenstown Japanese Garden, which was opened in 1970.
It became a popular leisure venue for the nearby residents and consisted of 23 shops that sold everything from furniture and sports equipment to clothes and electronic goods.
And of course, food and beverages could be purchased at the garden's singular restaurant called Queen's Garden Restaurant, which offered both Western and Chinese cuisines.
However, a fire destroyed the property in June 1978, with almost all the shops going up in smoke.
The local government invested in rebuilding the location, which was renamed Ridout after the nearby roundabout.
But despite the scenic remodel, the space lacked the crowds of Queenstown due to the limited retail and dining options.

McDonald's eventually replaced the fast food outlet in 1989, becoming one of the country's oldest outlets.
Open 24 hours, Ridout Tea Garden's McDonald's shares a premises with a Thai restaurant, which closed during the Covid pandemic, and a plant nursery.
The single story pavilion features large sliding doors and floor-to-ceiling windows, offering stunning views for customers while dining.
It has established itself as a beloved location with residents of the area.

The locations has become popular with tourists too, after going viral on Instagram.
Described as "tranquil" and a "hidden gem", this McDonald's has a unique outdoor area for families to explore.

Mazda isn't giving up on gas-powered engines Mazda's SKYACTIV-Z project has highlighted the automaker's desire to continue innovating gas-powered engines while other legacy manufacturers accelerate investments into electric powertrain development. As a result, Mazda is establishing a portfolio balancing internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid, and all-electric models, adapting to market demand. Mazda's current SKYACTIV-Z initiative aims to create a gas-powered engine that can combust with leaner fuel mixtures, resulting in better fuel economy, lower emissions, heightened performance, greater reliability, and simplified maintenance. SKYACTIV-Z tech also converts heat normally escaping from an engine into power for improved thermal (engine) efficiency. Expert engineer Masahisa Yamakawa at Mazda said that heat insulation was the only unexplored area among the seven controlled factors that improve thermal efficiency. SKYACTIV-Z strives to offer high thermal efficiency at any RPM or speed range, achieving better fuel efficiency when an engine is running on its own while supplying greater synergistic benefits when combined with electric motors. Wythenshawe cobbler retiring after 39 years thanks community
A cobbler retiring after 39 years has said his community's kindness has been "overwhelming".Gary Walker, from Benchill, Wythenshawe, is laying down his tools after nearly four decades running the Walker's Shoe Repair in Wythenshawe Civic shopping 66-year-old, who has been repairing shoes and cutting keys since 1986, has been referred to as a "local legend" by announcing his retirement, he has been inundated by messages of support and said it was "nice to be recognised as someone who has worked in the community all these years". "To get that response just because I am retiring is a bit overwhelming," he said."It sounds weird, local legend, I'm just somebody who has worked for a living on the centre."But I am proud to be from Benchill, I am." Mr Walker said the shoe side of the business was once the biggest part."In 1995 it was a lot busier on the shoe repairing side, that's all you did," he said."Then, the keys were in the background but shoe repairing would just take you going all day, everyday."The father-of-three said the business had to evolve over the years as shoes fell foul of a "throw away world", which is why key cutting became more important."It is probably cheaper to buy a new pair of shoes than it is to repair them," he said."Shoes are just cheap imports mostly these days." But the cobbler said the best part of his job had been "being local" and serving people he knows."You chat everyday with different people, you get to know all the faces, your regular customers over the years," he Walker said many people had asked what his retirement plans were and he intended to spend more time with his family and looking after his daughter who is autistic and has additional needs. Local carpet shop owner Ben Corrie said Mr Walker would be missed a great deal."I've used him for years, it's going to be a huge loss to the precinct," he said."But I wish him all the best in his retirement."Carina Bradbury, who has been shopping at the precinct for more than 20 years, said Mr Walker was a "lovely guy"."He is always there for anyone who needs keys cutting, repairs, anything like that, and he's really quick at what he does so we are all a bit gutted that he's going."
