It is demanding Harvard keep an eye on pro-Palestine students and drop its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Trump wrote on social media on June 20 that it is "very possible" that a deal with Harvard will be announced "over the next week or so." Trump added that Harvard acted "extremely appropriately" during talks with the administration. Since then, no announcement has been made on the matter. In response to the letter, Harvard said in a statement that the school has taken "substantive, proactive steps" to address antisemitism on the campus.
