Season series: First meeting; tied 1-1 last season
The Knights have lost 4 straight after a 2-1 loss at the New York Islanders Tuesday. Newly acquired LW Brandon Saad scored his 8th goal. C Jack Eichel was kept off the scoreboard, but he has points in 8 of his last 10 games. The Knights, while they have lost 4 straight, they have only been outscored 12-7.

Golden Knights at Devils projected goalies
Adin Hill (19-10-4, 2.69 GAA, .900 SV%, 2 SO) vs. Nico Daws (1-0-0, 1.44 GAA, .941 SV%)
Hill is coming off a 4-2 loss to the New York Rangers Sunday in which he stopped 24 of 28 shots. He has allowed 4 goals in 4 of 5 starts now. He hasn't faced New Jersey since a 4-3 shootout win March 3, 2023, in which he stopped 47 of 50 shots.
Daws was great in his first start of the season, which was a 3-2 shootout win over Pittsburgh Tuesday. He stopped 25 of 27 and has stopped 32 of 34 overall this year. Daws made 20 starts last year and went 9-11-0 with a 3.15 GAA and .894 SV%. He has not faced VGK.

Golden Knights at Devils picks and predictions
Prediction
Devils 4, Golden Knights 3
Hill's struggles between the pipes are a little worrisome, and he's a much different goalie at home than on the road. At home, he's 13-3-2 with a 2.41 GAA and .910 SV%, but on the road, he's 6-7-2 with a 3.02 GAA and .888 SV%.
It's a close matchup, but in this pick 'em, I'll take the DEVILS -110 at home.
There's no play on the puck line here.
PASS.
The Devils are 5-5 O/U in their last 10, and the Knights are 4-4-2. The goaltending matchup leads me to the Over, though, as Hill has allowed 4 goals in 4 of 5 starts, and Daws is making just his second start of the year.
Take the OVER 5.5 (-110).

Jets Prospect Reportedly Signs Three-Year Extension With KHL Club

View of a Winnipeg Jets logo on a jersey worn by a member of the team during the second period at Bell Centre. Mandatory Credit: David Kirouac-Imagn Images Winnipeg Jets prospect Dmitri Rashevsky has reportedly signed a three-year offer sheet with Avangard Omsk and are awaiting Dynamo Moskva's response, according to Dylan Griffing. The Jets selected Rashevsky in the fifth round (146th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft, and he has spent each season since the selection in the KHL. Rashevsky will be 25 years old by the start of the season, making his chances of joining the Jets organization bleak. Advertisement "I like everything in Dynamo, that's why I signed a new contract," Rashevsky said through Google Translate in the article back in 2023. "I was in touch (with Winnipeg), but at the moment I consulted with my family, agent and coaching staff; everyone was of the same opinion that it was better to stay." If Rashevsky does plan to play in the NHL with the Jets, he won't do so until he is 28 years old. Filled with talent, the 6'1, 183 lbs left-handed right winger has scored 35 or more points in four consecutive KHL seasons, including a 19-goal and 40-point campaign in the 65 games this past season. "Rashevsky's motor never stops. Be it on the forecheck and on the backcheck, at the start of his shift or at the end of his shift, in the MHL, the VHL, or the KHL, the forward is single-minded; he wants the puck on his stick and in the back of the opposing net. He rarely over-dangles, preferring to use teammates and make give-and-goes to get out of tight situations." -EliteProspects 2021 NHL Draft Guide. For the Jets organization, the news is unfortunate. There would be several opportunities for Rashevsky to fight for a roster spot and possibly lock one down, whether Nikolaj Ehlers re-signs or signs elsewhere. Although it doesn't completely nullify the St. Petersburg, RUS native's chances of playing for the Jets, his ability to transition to the North American surface and the style of play at a much older age becomes increasingly challenging.
