But the additions can prove rather costly, with people often trying to make one themselves on a budget.

However, they might want to head to their local branch of The Range instead of faffing around with a DIY project.
As one chuffed shopper has revealed how she managed to nab a "captivating" £23.99 water feature for just £2.
Christine took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her epic find.
Posting a snap of the gorgeous glass hummingbird feature, she wrote: "I got this for £2 from The Range because the box was a little ripped.

"There was a few of them on the shelf with the boxes the same so I grabbed one.
"I love it!"
Her picture showed the water feature all set up and running, with the H20 running from a lily pad at the top to one at the bottom, as a hummingbird flew down to try and have a drink.
People were quick to comment on the Facebook post, with one writing: "This looks lovely!"

"Wow, what a bargain," another gushed.
As a third called it "beautiful", someone else said it was "so pretty", and another called it "so cute in an odd kinda way".

While someone else commented: "Saw this today, but it wasn't £2!"
And Christine's find was made all the more impressive by the fact that the exact same water feature is currently being sold in Homebase for a whopping £23.99.
"This stunning Glass Hummingbird Water Feature will transform a sunny garden spot into a tranquil haven," Homebase says of the design on their website.
"The exquisite stained-glass design depicts a charming pond, complete with pink flowers from which gentle streams cascade.

The store concluded by saying the feature makes "a captivating focal point for any garden", and is "guaranteed to delight family and friends".

A CORNER shop from a classic 70s sitcom went under the hammer last year and is now an unassuming home. The building quietly sits in the Balby suburb of Doncaster in South Yorkshire. It's likely that those living next-door have no idea that the building was once on one of Britain's most iconic TV shows. Open All Hours, which aired in 1976, ran for four seasons. It was rated the eighth best sitcom in the country in 2004. Advertisement The show ran from 1976 to 1985 and had 17 million viewers a week at its peak. Created by Roy Clarke, the plot followed Albert Arkwright, who runs a grocery shop in Doncaster's Balby and is in love with Nurse Gladys, who lives opposite his shop. But Gladys rejects his proposals as she has to look after her ill mother. The fictional shop owned by Arkwright - played by Ronnie Barker - used a residential property for exterior shots. Advertisement After the show ended, the building went up for auction but failed to sell. It was earmarked for demolition before campaigners saved it in 2008. The property was then concerned into a unisex hairdressers, called the Beautique hair salon. Auctioneers hoped that the property's TV history would attract plenty of bidders when it went to auction on October 16 with a guide price of £150,000. Film crews moved in for weeks at a time for each series of Open All Hours. The end-terrace on Lister Avenue in Balby, less than a mile from Doncaster city centre, became a tourist attraction over the years. But now, those passing by would never guess at the house's history and fame.
