RARE music memorabilia from a popular British band is being auctioned in Sherborne.
A rare 1965 Beatles advertising poster for their album Help! has been donated to the Dorset Blind Association and is expected to fetch £1,000 at a specialist auction hosted by Charterhouse in Sherborne.
The vintage British quad poster, an iconic piece from the swinging 60s, was given to the Dorset Blind Association's charity shop in Broadstone, along with a collection of film posters.
Recognising the potential value of the donation, the charity reached out to Charterhouse, which specialises in film posters, vinyl records and memorabilia.
Experts estimate that the collection of posters could sell for more than £2,000.
Richard Bromell of Charterhouse said: 'This Beatles advertising poster has survived nearly 60 years in remarkable condition, it's a fantastic find and a wonderful opportunity for collectors.'
The auction on February 26 is expected to attract significant interest from Beatles enthusiasts and memorabilia collectors.
The proceeds from the sale will support the Dorset Blind Association's work in providing essential services for visually impaired individuals across Dorset.
