Inzaghi named Al-Hilal coach a day after Inter exit
Simone Inzaghi has been appointed head coach of Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, a day after leaving Inter Milan.The Italian coach has signed a two-year contract after leaving Inter on Tuesday.The Serie A club lost 5-0 in Saturday's Champions League final against Paris St-Germain, meaning they suffered their first trophyless season since 2019-20.Inzaghi took charge in 2021, leading the Nerazzurri to the 2023-24 league title and winning the Coppa Italia twice.The 49-year-old also led Inter to the 2023 Champions League final, where they lost 1-0 to Manchester City.Inzaghi succeeds Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, who led Al-Hilal to the Saudi Pro League title in 2023-24 but was sacked last month after his team were knocked out of the Asian Champions League Elite semi-finals.Italian media have reported that Inzaghi's contract is worth up to 30m euros (£25.3m) per season.His first task will be to take charge at the Club World Cup in the United States, where Al-Hilal face Real Madrid in their opening game in Miami on 18 June.

Martin teases Rangers transfers before Champions League tie
The club are a little over a month away from their first competitive game of the 2025/26 season. This will come in the form of a Champions League qualifier - a huge match for the team early in his tenure. The players will return for pre-season training at the end of this month. Martin has revealed that there are some major areas he and other key figures at Rangers will need to recruit for before that two-legged tie towards the end of July. "There are a few positions where we'll need to strengthen fairly quickly and fairly early on," he told Sky Sports. "I'm also willing to be surprised and I'm open to being surprised by some of the players we have here. Carlo Ancelotti says first Brazil match was ‘special' despite goalless draw
