Two up-and-coming members of the youth ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona were afforded fresh call-ups to first-team training on Thursday.
The pair in question? Noah Darvich, and Guille Fernández.
Barcelona are of course in the midst of preparations for a return to action next Monday night.
Fresh off a 4-1 downing of Sevilla last weekend, the Blaugrana will play host to Rayo Vallecano, in a La Liga meeting at Montjuïc.
After an extended three-day break from training, Hansi Flick's squad reconvened at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Thursday, for their first session of the week.
And, as alluded to above, playing their respective parts in as much were Noah Darvich, and Guille Fernández.
Both have prior experience training at senior level this season, with 16-year-old Guille, in particular, considered a star in the making by those behind the scenes in Catalunya's capital.
Check out footage of the pair greeting some of Barcelona's leading stars below:

Lenglet terminates Barcelona contract to complete Atletico Madrid move

Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Clement Lenglet after he terminated his contract with Barcelona, as confirmed by both clubs. The 29-year-old joined the Catalan giants in 2018 from Sevilla, and he initially looked impressive. However, his form nosedived. Advertisement After loan spells at Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, Lenglet moved to Atletico on a season-long loan last summer. Following a tough start, the Frenchman gradually established himself as a regular for Diego Simeone's side, making 34 appearances in all competitions. The former Nancy star joins Atletico on a free transfer, penning a three-year deal until 2028 with a reduced salary. Barcelona will cover part of Lenglet's wages, as he had two years remaining on his previous contract. The Catalan giants will save approximately €16 million with his departure. Lenglet's resurgence also saw him return to the French national team this month after nearly a four-year absence. He started in the Nations League semi-final clash against Spain, which Les Bleus lost 5-4. Advertisement With Axel Witsel set to leave Wanda Metropolitano this summer upon the expiry of his contract, Atletico are looking to sign another top-class centre-back. Tottenham Hotspur's Cristian Romero has been earmarked as their primary target. The 2022 World Cup winner is also keen to join Atletico, thanks to the Argentine contingent at the club, which includes Rodrigo De Paul, Julian Alvarez, Nahuel Molina and Giuliano Simeone. However, Spurs are demanding around €70m to part ways with Romero, whose contract runs until 2027.

New Barcelona signing to pen 5-year contract on Wednesday

La Liga giants Barcelona are set to tie up the club's first official signing of the summer this coming Wednesday. That's according to Diario Sport, who point towards Joan García as the player primed to put pen to paper on terms with the Blaugrana. Advertisement The name of goalkeeper Joan has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya's capital for several weeks now. This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that, amid a search for reinforcements between the posts, those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou had set their sights firmly on the Espanyol star. Negotiations, in turn, were kicked into gear with Joan and his entourage, over the terms of a contract. And with as much now in place, all that remains is for Barcelona to pay the 24-year-old's release clause. In turn, it should not come as a major surprise to hear of the transfer, on the part of Deco and co, now being considered imminent. Advertisement As per a report from Sport: 'Barça have everything ready for the Espanyol goalkeeper to sign a contract for the next five seasons this Wednesday, according to 'Catalunya Ràdio' and this newspaper can confirm.' Joan's presentation as the newest member of Hansi Flick's squad will then come a few days later, upon the conclusion of the Spaniard's summer vacation. Conor Laird – GSFN
