UN conference on Israel-Palestinian conflict postponed, Macron says
President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday that a United Nations conference co-hosted between France and Saudi Arabia to work towards a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians has been postponed after Israel launched a military attack on Iran.
Macron told reporters that the conference, which had been planned for June 17-20, had been postponed for logistical reasons as members of the Palestinian Authority could not travel to New York and that it would be re-scheduled as soon as possible.

Ramallah: Internet is back up in the war-battered Gaza Strip, the head of the Palestinian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority told AFP on Saturday, after a three-day blackout blamed on Israel's military. The Palestine Red Crescent Society said on Thursday that the internet outage hindered its operations by impeding communication with first responders in the field, also blaming Israel for the blackout. Now in its 21st month, the war in Gaza has caused massive damage to infrastructure including water mains, power lines and roads across the Palestinian territory.
