He adds, 'Whether it's a film, a series, or a television show, I've been lucky to land strong, impactful characters with good screen time.
I'm not just a part of the project—I play prominent, meaningful roles.'
Speaking of his journey in Bollywood, Rumi says, 'Working with superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol has been a great learning experience. These are moments that any actor aspires to.'
His foray into OTT has also been fulfilling. 'The digital space allows for more layered characters, and my roles have given me the chance to connect deeply with viewers,' he adds.

(1994), and 'Yugpurush' (1998), was a master at weaving intense narratives that struck a chord with audiences across an emotional message, Sengupta wrote, 'Heartbroken beyond words. We have lost an exceptional talent, a visionary director, and a kind soul. Partho da, you will always be remembered for the magic you created on screen. Rest in peace.' Known for his distinctive storytelling, Partho Ghosh had a unique ability to blend social realism with mainstream cinema. His film 'Agni Sakshi', which starred Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, and Nana Patekar, became a milestone film on the subject of domestic violence and earned several accolades.
