I found this one in a cafe in Doune Village while traveling in Scotland. The nearby Doune Castle is the filming location for both Monty Python and the Holy Grail as well as Winterfell from Game Of Thrones. Here's the riddle: What's a bird but also a fruit but also a person? I'll post the answer in Thursday's Wordle guide. Let's solve today's! FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder The Hint: Stop at once. The Clue: This Wordle has a double letter in it. Okay, spoilers below! The answer is coming! . . . Today's Wordle Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot right here. I'm frustrated because I had such a strong start but couldn't pull it off in three today. CRIME left me with just 26 words and SHOAL cut that number to three. I almost guessed CEASE on my third try but went with CAUSE because it had more letter diversity. Oh well! Today's Wordle Bot I think every day of the month so far, the Bot and I have traded wins, leaving us neck-and-neck for June. I get -1 today for guessing in four and losing to the Bot, while it gets 1 point for guessing in three and 1 for beating me. Our totals are once again a tie: Erik: 2 points Wordle Bot: 2 points The verb cease comes into English via Old French cesser 'to leave off, stop,' itself from Vulgar Latin *cessāre (a frequentative form) of Latin cedere 'to go, yield.' Over time, cesser became ceasen in Middle English before settling as cease in Modern English. Let me know how you fared with your Wordle today on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. NYT ‘Strands' Today: Hints, Spangram And Answers For Wednesday, June 4th

Today's NYT Strands hints and answers Credit: New York Times Looking for Tuesday's Strands hints, spangram and answers? You can find them here: Hello dearest Strandistarians. I'm once again taking over for my colleague Paul Tassi today in our quest to uncover words in your daily Strands puzzle. Strands is the newest game in the New York Times' stable of puzzle games. It's a fun twist on classic word search games. Every day we're given a new theme and then tasked with uncovering all the words on the grid that fit that theme, including a spangram that spans two sides of the board. One of these words is the spangram which crosses from one side of the grid to another and reveals even more about the day's theme. Spoilers ahead. Read on for today's theme and some hints to help you uncover today's words. Instead of giving you the first two letters of each word, today I'm giving out three hints instead of two. Today's Theme: Monster quest Hint: Sasquatch type beasts. Clue: Nessie, for instance. Here are the first two letters of each of today's words: Remember, spoilers ahead! Today's spangram is: CRYPTIDS Here's the full list of words: Here's the completed Strands grid: Today's Strands Screenshot: Erik Kain Cryptids—today's spangram—are species that are rumored to exist but cannot be proven scientifically. It's possible that a KRAKEN is somewhere in the depths of the ocean, however unlikely, or that BIGFOOT roams the wilderness, perhaps befriending a JACKALOPE or two. I got a couple of these pretty quickly, but was pretty stumped for awhile. YETI wasn't too bad, but even though I suspected JACKALOPE it took me a good bit to find it as well as MOTHMAN. How did you do on your Strands today? Let me know on Twitter and Facebook. Be sure to check out my blog for my daily Wordle guides as well as all my other writing about TV shows, streaming guides, movie reviews, video game coverage and much more. Thanks for stopping by!

George Clooney Reveals Why He Hates His Good Night, And Good Luck Hairstyle

George Clooney was ready to roast himself over his hair while stopping by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Monday. Admitting the deep brunette dye job he got for his role in Good Night, and Good Luck was not his best look, the Tony-nominated actor told Meyers, 'It's bad. It's still dark on top, but it's gray at the bottom. So you get that really nice-looking grow-out of gray.' Clooney, who said he was purposefully hiding under a baseball cap, said he was relieved he'll finally be able to get rid of the tint when he wraps his critically acclaimed Broadway show on Sunday afternoon, right before the Tony Awards. Though Meyers told the ER star that his locks look 'great onstage,' he joked that 'offstage, it looks like you are trying to get away with something.' 'It really looks bad. It looks like you're going through some horrible midlife crisis,' Clooney agreed, then smirking as he added, 'I'm 64 ... midlife is a little stretch.' Trying to find an upside, the leading man said wife Amal Clooney does find his temporary hairstyle 'funny' but will 'be glad when it's gone.' While talking to the New York Times in March, the normally salt-and-pepper-coiffed star laughed about how 'nothing makes you look older than when an older guy dyes his hair.' But Clooney thought the transformation was necessary to play real-life journalist Edward R. Murrow, whose Cold War-era clash with Sen. Joseph R. McCarthy is the centerpiece of Good Night, and Good Luck.
