A London-based New Yorker, Binns is a familiar face in the London fashion scene. In addition to her roles as stylist, creative director and consultant, Binns also serves as a colead of the British Fashion Council's mentoring and talent ID and race subcommittees under the organization's diversity and inclusion initiative.
In her new role, Binns will bring her creative vision and network of talents to the pages of 10 and 10 Men.
Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, founder and global editor in chief of 10 Magazine, said Binns' wealth of experience and deep references bring incredible insight across all styling genres.
'She's really exceptional at bringing modernity to her work that stretches beyond the zeitgeist while seamlessly tapping into her years of experience, from working with Jean-Michel Basquiat to Wizkid. She's beloved by the industry far and wide, and what she creates has serious longevity. She continues to be inspirational to multigenerational creatives,' added Neophitou-Apostolou, who received a special recognition award at the Fashion Awards last tear.
'The best way to see fashion in your life is to swim in it, endlessly,' Binns said of her new role.
'I'm so thrilled to be joining the 10 Magazine team and I'm excited to be working closely with the Sophia — that chick — a fashion legend with an incredible legacy. I'm looking forward to creating fashion magic inside the magazine,' she added.
The appointment of Binns came at a time when 10 Magazine is set to debut its German edition in March. The magazine, founded by Sophia Neophitou more than 20 years ago, also runs a Japanese edition, edited by Saori Masuda; a U.S. edition led by Dora Fung and an Australian edition helmed by Alison Veness.

Switch 2 marks the end of an era as Mario Kart World is the first time in 20 years Donkey Kong's voice actor has changed, and the replacement seemingly comes straight from the Mario movie
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. In case the redesign wasn't enough, fans have noticed that Donkey Kong may have also nabbed a new voice actor alongside the release of Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2. Fans on the Donkey Kong subreddit have got their hands on Mario Kart World, and despite the fact you need to unlock the big ape, they have noticed that the in-game credits are missing any mention of Takashi Nagasako, who has voiced Donkey Kong since 2004's Mario Power Tennis all the way through to 2024's Super Mario Party Jamboree, as well as his dad / grandad (it's unclear) Cranky Kong. One thing Nintendo does in its games is only list the voice actors, as opposed to listing who they play, which is how Mick Wingert was mistakenly identified as Mario's new voice actor before Kevin Afghani confirmed it was him. So no one is listed with Donkey Kong next to their name, however, one name that is in the credits is Koji Takeda, who just so happened to be the voice actor for Donkey Kong in the Japanese dub of The Super Mario Bros. Movie (also Daruk in The Legend of Zelda series). The other big deal to come out of this is that Samantha Kelly – who has voiced Princess Peach, Toad and Toadette since 2007 – is also absent from the credits of the game. However, once again since there are no character names listed, we don't actually have a great idea of who could take over, since Anya Taylor-Joy is unsurprisingly not listed in there. One user points out that Princess Peach Showtime would have been her last time as Peach, which is ironic as the last Peach game – Super Princess Peach – marked Jen Taylor's final time in the role. Presumably Donkey Kong will keep this new voice going into Donkey Kong Bananza. However, there is always a chance that Nagasako will reprise his role as Cranky Kong in the upcoming game, especially since he just did voice work for the Donkey Kong Country expansion at Universal Japan. Regardless, the last few years have been an end of an era for a ton of Mario voice actors. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Nintendo Switch 2 journey isn't going too smoothly as Nintendo asks "please avoid using Mii Fighter in online play as much as possible."

Former Princess Who Left the Royal Family Welcomes First Child
There's a new royal baby to get excited about: Japan's former Princess Mako recently gave birth to her first child on Friday, May 30, according to Japan's Imperial Household Agency. Anadolu/Getty Images According to the Japan Times, few details about the baby were given at a press conference this week (which was already on the royal schedule and unrelated to Princess Mako's newborn baby) other than revealing that the Crown Prince and Crown Princess are 'delighted about the birth and are wishing for the happiness of the Komuro family.' (The arrival of Princess Mako's baby is the first grandchild for the Crown Prince and Princess, who share two other children.)During the press conference, Naomasa Yoshida, grand master of the Crown Prince's Household, did nod to Princess Mako's exit at the same time that they spread the official word about her birth, per the Japan Times: 'This is a matter for a person who has left the Imperial Family and we had hoped that she would spend her time in a quiet environment. We decided to make the announcement, however, in light of some media reports [about the birth].' TORU YAMANAKA/GETTY IMAGES For reference, Princess Mako left the Imperial Family—relinquishing her royal title in the process—after marrying Kei Komuro, a former classmate, but also a commoner. The pair moved to New York City to start a new life together in 2021, with Komuro turning down a $1.3 million royal payout she was entitled to after losing her status due to her marriage. (Komuro works in the city as a lawyer while Princess Mako recently secured a job at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.) At the time of her marriage, Princess Mako gave a statement about her choice with her new husband, Komuro, explaining their decision: 'I love Mako. We only get one life, and I want us to spend it with the one we love.' Four years later—and with their family expanding, plus baby—their love story continues.
