Mikayla Renfroe, from the US, has had plenty of success when it comes to nabbing epic bargains from Temu - but her latest haul turned out to be a major flop.
According to Mikayla, who's already purchased a stunning wooden cabinet from the China-based site, she was on the lookout for pans.
Whilst browsing on the popular marketplace, she stumbled across a gorgeous pink set of cooking pans, currently slashed from £55 to just £31 for ten pieces.
The Stainless Steel Cookware Set comes in a range of vibrant colours, such as orange, blue, as well as baby pink - which Mikalya ordered right away.
But while the five-star rating and reviews seemed promising, little did she know there was a reason the cookware set was so cheap.
Sharing the epic fail on TikTok, the blonde beauty revealed that the pans - though stunning - were not sturdy at all.
To prove her point, Mikayla had her fella pick each one of them up and give them a squeeze with his hands.
One by one, the pans lost her shape, as he destroyed them with barely any effort required.
In hysterics, Mikalya - who posts under the username @mikaylarenfroe - chuckled in the caption: ''I've officially fallen victim to Temu. Got me.''
She went on in a recent video: ''Yeah, I have been personally victimised by my pots and pans.
I found the perfect ornament for my lounge on Temu but when it arrived all I could do was laugh - it was an epic fail
''I bought them for my camp trailer, thinking I didn't want to spend $100 on my camp trailer pots and pans.
''These are not it,'' the furious mum said.
Why is Temu so cheap?
TEMU exploded onto the scene in late 2022, with people all over social media raving about the low prices.
The company is a Chinese-owned digital marketplace - essentially an online shopping app where people are connected to the retailer directly while the app takes care of the shipping element.
The frenzy over the app is not completely unfounded either as it offers a wide variety of products, including fashion, make-up, electronics and furniture.
According to a report from the US House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, Temu takes advantage of a trade loophole that allows the company to ship duty-free goods directly to the US.
The loophole is called the de minimis exception and it means they can ship goods valued up to $800 (£643) to the US without it being inspected or taxed by US customs.
Temu connects customers directly to manufacturers and only manages how the items are sent to customers.
It means Chinese vendors can essentially sell their products directly to customers and ship it without building a network of warehouses across the globe.
By doing this, they cut down on huge costs and ensure the product itself isn't marked up extra.
While many of the products seen on the Temu app are from brands with extensive, original collections, many more are dupes of designer brands.
'Buying like serious things from Temu is wild'
Since being posted on the platform, the video has gone viral, winning the stunner more than a whopping 22million views in just one day.
It also has a staggering 1.7million likes, over 52k shares, with a further 14.2k people flooding to comments to share their thoughts.
One person said: ''buying cookware on temu sounds like playing with your life.''
A second agreed, adding: ''Buy durable things, cheaper in the long run and good for the environment, stay off temu, shein and amazon.''
''Imagine you're cooking and your pan just melts onto the stove,'' someone else chimed in.
''Buying like actual serious things from Temu is wild,'' a viewer commented.

BEIJING, June 9 (Reuters) - China's Rednote, one of the country's most popular social media platforms, has released an open-source large language model, joining a wave of Chinese tech firms making their artificial intelligence models freely available. The approach contrasts with many U.S. tech giants like OpenAI and Google (GOOGL.O), opens new tab, which have kept their most advanced models proprietary, though some American firms including Meta (META.O), opens new tab have also released open-source models. Open sourcing allows Chinese companies to demonstrate their technological capabilities, build developer communities and spread influence globally at a time when the U.S. has sought to stymie China's tech progress with export restrictions on advanced semiconductors. In coding tasks, the model performs comparably to Alibaba's Qwen 2.5 series, though it trails more advanced models such as DeepSeek-V3, the technical paper said. RedNote, also known by its Chinese name Xiaohongshu, is an Instagram-like platform where users share photos, videos, text posts and live streams. The platform gained international attention earlier this year when some U.S. users flocked to the app amid concerns over a potential TikTok ban. The company has invested in large language model development since 2023, not long after OpenAI's release of ChatGPT in late 2022. It has accelerated its AI efforts in recent months, launching Diandian, an AI-powered search application that helps users find content on Xiaohongshu's main platform. Other companies that are pursuing an open-source approach include Alibaba ( opens new tab which launched Qwen 3, an upgraded version of its model in April. Live updates as Reform UK leader Nigel Farage makes major speech in Port Talbot
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage will be in Port Talbot today to give a press conference, laying out his plans for the party in Wales with months to go until a crucial election for his party. The most recent poll for Wales suggests his party is in line to take its first seats in the Senedd at the election in May 2026. Its only representation in Wales at the moment is with councillors, but a YouGov/Barn Cymru poll which asked people their voting intention for the Welsh Parliament in May put Reform UK in second with 25% of the vote. They were only behind Plaid Cymru who were projected to get 30% of the vote and ahead of Labour's 18%. You can read that here. In an opinion piece for WalesOnline, the party leader has given his first glimpses of policies ahead of the election. Mr Farage has said the party would allow coal mining again in Wales and says its long term plan is to "reopen the Port Talbot steelworks". The steelworks, owned by Tata, have not closed but its remaining blast furnaces were closed in 2024, with work now ongoing to build an electric arc furnace which will recycle previously-used steel. Thousands of jobs are being lost as part of the change. The Indian-owned company said the blast furnaces were at the end of their operational lives and too expensive to replace. The Port Talbot steelworks were, the company said, losing £1m a day before the blast furnaces were turned off. Reform UK say it would "use Welsh Development Grants to support real industry. We'll redirect economic funding from consultants and NGOs to actual factory floors, machinery, and industrial jobs in places like Llanelli, Shotton, and Ebbw Vale". Nigel Farage has also said the party would also set up "regional technical colleges" for people to have a "path into proper trade". The party would also, it says, stop any building being used for asylum seeker accommodation, end funding to the Welsh Refugee Council and scrap the Welsh Government's "Nation of Sanctuary". It also vowed to set up an Elon Musk style department to cut costs. "A Reform UK Senedd will also save hundreds of millions each year by cutting bureaucracy, waste and bad management. The establishment of Welsh DOGE will help us uncover where there is woke and wasteful spending and we will make sure those funds are redirected to frontline services," Mr Farage pledges. Healthcare firm Totally collapses but divisions sold
The Derby-based healthcare firm – which lost the NHS 111 support contract in February this year – has appointed Ernst & Young partners Tim Vance and Sam Woodward as joint administrators after failing to secure bids or strategic investors for the entire firm. It said that following the appointment, the sale of its selective care and corporate wellbeing subsidiaries, as well as the urgent care division, was completed to rival PHL Group. 'This transaction sees the continued and uninterrupted provision of all services previously delivered by the group,' Totally said. Totally employed more than 1,400 employees, according to its 2023-2024 annual report. The group added: 'PHL Group will make separate announcements shortly, including communication with the customers, suppliers and employees of the elective care and urgent care divisions, and the corporate wellbeing business, which are all continuing to provide all services as normal following the transaction.' The company's failure comes after a difficult past year, with the firm losing the NHS 111 contract worth £13 million and then revealing last month it was facing a potential medical negligence claim related to an incident in January 2018. At the time, it warned the size of the liability for the claim could be more than the £10 million claim limit on its insurance policy. It launched a strategic review to look at options, including the sale of subsidiaries 'receiving strategic investment or undertaking some other form of comparable corporate action'. Shares in the firm plummeted at the time. On June 6, it announced its intention to appoint administrators after the review had failed to see any 'solvent' offers for parent firm Totally and suspended its shares from trading on London's junior Aim market. PHL – the buyer of its trading divisions – was launched in 2009 and runs services in the UK and overseas, including integrated urgent care, urgent treatment centres, surgical insourcing, custody healthcare, ADHD services and general practice.
