The 6-foot, 8-inch marksman from Louisiana will offer Kentucky a combination of size, length, perimeter shooting, and versatility on defense. In 2024, Williams averaged 4.1 boards, 1.2 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game.
'Not many people get opportunities like this, so I wanted to pull the trigger fast,' Williams told ESPN. 'More people are waiting to fill that spot, so I had to take advantage.'
As a freshman, he shot 41.2% from beyond the arc and felt his skillset complimented head coach Mark Pope's high-octane offensive system.
'My dream is to play in the NBA,' Williams said. 'Kentucky's culture and background shows that they care about their players, especially developing them into the best players they can be.'

Williams will join Jasper Johnson, Malachi Moreno, and Acaden Lewis in the current crop of incoming Wildcats. Otega Oweh, Brandon Garrison, Collin Chandler, Trent Noah, and Travis Perry could all return to Kentucky, giving a versatile and experienced nucleus for the Wildcats to build on next season.

Lee Corso's final 'College GameDay' show will be Aug. 30 at Ohio State
BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Lee Corso's final headgear pick on 'College GameDay' will be on the campus where it all started. ESPN's iconic show will begin its 39th season at Ohio State before the defending national champion Buckeyes host the Texas Longhorns on Aug. 30. Corso, who turns 90 in August, announced earlier this year that his final show would be on the opening week of the season. Corso began his popular headgear segment on Oct. 5, 1996, before Ohio State faced Penn State. Since then, he has gone 286-144 in 430 selections wearing everything from helmets and mascot heads to dressing up as the Fighting Irish leprechaun from Notre Dame, the Stanford tree and historic figures James Madison and Benjamin Franklin. He has worn 69 different school's mascot headgear. Corso — the lone remaining member of GameDay's original cast — has selected and worn Brutus Buckeye's headgear a record 45 times. Alabama is next with 38. This will be the 26th appearance by 'College GameDay' in Columbus. The Buckeyes have a 19-6 record in those games. ___ Get poll alerts and updates on the AP Top 25 throughout the season. Sign up here. AP college football: and

Stefon Diggs breaks silence on mysterious pink substance from boat video
Stefon Diggs is aware people want to know about the pink substance he passed out to bikini-clad women in a video from a boat party. But the new Patriots receiver is keeping details close to the vest. 'I want to be as candid with you as possible but I kind of have a thing where I don't talk about my personal life with people I don't know personally,' Diggs said Tuesday at Patriots minicamp, per ESPN. Advertisement 'I had a conversation with [Mike] Vrabel obviously and I'll echo everything he said, hoping everybody is making good decisions. And I had a conversation with people in the building as well. So everything else is everything else. The particulars are all internal.' 4 Stefon Diggs hands out a pink substance to three bikini-clad women on a boat. X 4 Stefon Diggs on the field at Patriots minicamp on June 9, 2025. AP Advertisement Asked specifically about what was in the bag that contained the pink substance, Diggs replied, 'Obviously it's a conversation that's happening internal, which I can't have too much of a conversation about it. I've been in this league 10 years; you can format your question many different ways, I'm obviously going to answer it the same way.' The 31-year-old, who signed a three-year, $63.5 million contract with New England this offseason, went viral late last month after video circulated on social media of him giving the bag with the pink substance to three women on a boat that his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, was also said to be on. As he handed over the substance, Diggs said, 'don't take all of it.' Advertisement First-year Patriots coach Mike Vrabel addressed the video during OTAs two weeks ago. 'Obviously we want to make great decisions on and off the field,' Vrabel said. Though there was some speculation that Diggs' spot on the team could be in jeopardy, the Patriots seemingly aren't going to take any action as of now. In the aftermath of the video, Cardi B and Diggs went Instagram official with their relationship.
