Ananya Panday opens up about Shah Rukh Khan's influence on her life: ‘He has this quality of making you feel…'
Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday has made tons of friends in the film industry in her 6 year long career as an actor. But two of her closest and dearest pals in the entire world are Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan and Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor. The three have been the best of friends since they were little and have spent most of their childhood together. Even their families are extremely close, as we already witnessed on Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, which stars Shanaya's mum Maheep Kapoor and Ananya's mother Bhavana Pandey with special appearances by Suhana's mother Gauri Khan. Well, in a recent interview, Ananya spoke about the influence that SRK has had on her.
In a recent chat with Bombay Times Lounge, talking about Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Ananya Panday shared, 'I think the way Shah Rukh Khan handles his personal and professional life -- there's no one like him. While growing up, I saw first-hand what an amazing father he is to Aryan, Suhana and AbRam and the way he's been with all of us. He would train us all for our sports day and taekwondo competitions. He was very, very present in what was happening in our lives. Even now, he wants to know what we're doing and is very involved. Also, when he is talking to you, he has this quality of making you feel that you are the only person in the world. There is no one like him!'

Well, even SRK's fans would agree that there is truly no one like him. On the film front, Ananya is all set to reunite with her Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Shah Rukh, on the other hand, will be sharing the screen for the first time ever with his darling daughter Suhana Khan in King, which also stars Deepika Padukone.

Ananya Panday Calls Herself A ‘3/10 Actor' In Viral Video; Reddit Trolls Her Brutally
Last Updated: Ananya Panday called herself a 3/10 actor in a resurfaced video, sparking viral trolling and heated PR debates on Reddit and social media. A throwback video of Ananya Panday rating herself as an actor has resurfaced on Reddit and is going viral for all the wrong reasons. The clip, from a rapid-fire segment on Pinkvilla, features Ananya playfully struggling to rate her own acting skills. Initially hesitant, she says, 'I can't do this… Like a 3… How can I rate myself as an actor?" Her Call Me Bae co-stars Niharika Dutt and Muskkaan Jaferi try to lift her spirits, nudging her to rate herself higher. Eventually, Ananya settles on a 7 out of 10. While her response seemed candid and humorous, the internet didn't take it lightly. Redditors quickly latched onto the video, calling out what they described as another PR move. One user wrote, 'The thing is, it's actually working. People do sympathise with her. All the Insta girlies unite to defend her in any reel criticising her. Unfortunately." Another added, 'Nepotism or no nepotism—if you are focused on winning PR games instead of working on your craft, people won't watch you." A third user sarcastically chimed in, 'Even my 2-month-old can see through these PR tricks. At least be clever about it." The viral backlash has reignited debates around nepotism and image-building in Bollywood, with many questioning whether such self-deprecating moments are genuine or calculated. On the work front, Ananya Panday is gearing up for her next big release, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, co-starring Kartik Aaryan. The romantic comedy is already making waves, especially after the makers revealed the release date—February 13, 2026—along with a romantic poster showing the duo kissing behind an Indian passport. The film, directed by Satyaprem Ki Katha's Sameer Vidwans, is being jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. It also marks Kartik Aaryan's return to Karan Johar's production house following their much-publicised fallout during Dostana 2. Fans are excited to see Kartik and Ananya reunite after their successful pairing in Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), making this one of the most awaited rom-coms on the horizon. The Life of Chuck movie review: Tom Hiddleston's film delivers the warm fuzzies
The Life Of Chuck movie review: Based on a slim Stephen King novella, 'The Life Of Chuck' is a near-faithful cinematic adaptation which aims at giving us the warm fuzzies-in-this-dark-and-dismal-world, and succeeds, more or less. Just like the story, the film starts backwards, where we see Marty (Chiwetel Ejiofor) reconnecting with his ex-wife Felicia (Karen Gillan) even as the world is coming to an end. Mike Flanagan, an old horror-and-Stephen King hand, gives us an apocalypse in small-town America, in which cars are drawing to a stand-still, roads are emptying out, cellphones and laptops have stopped working, and life-saving monitors in hospitals are acting out of whack. One of the most King-ian conceits is in which his characters hit the road in search of self. Marty bumps into an old man who runs the undertaking outfit in town, to have, yes, the wise talk, which touches upon life and all its oddities and finalities. And then he walks to find Felicia in a street whose lights have gone out, and then they wait, for that final blip. The mysterious Chuck, whose life we are being invited to witness, and who shows up here only as a digital hieroglyphic, is met with in flesh only in the second act. Pondering over his dull accountant's life, Chuck (Tom Hiddleston) walks down to the town square where a drummer girl is toying with her sticks. Of course, he breaks out into a dance, drawing in a pretty young woman (Annalise Basso) who's just been dumped, and they swirl and twirl, till the blues are gone, at least for a while. The third act takes us back further in time, where we see Chuck as a boy (Benjamin Pajak) and an adolescent (Jacob Tremblay), living with his grandparents (Mark Hamill and Mia Sara), in an old house with a locked room 'on the cuppola'. That room, grandpa has decreed, is never to be opened, even as grandma teaches little Chuck to shuck and jive so well that he charms not only his dance teacher but an older girl. The two burn up the floor, naturally, on a prom night, and it's where our Chuck learns what it is to have 'multitudes within oneself', looking out at the night sky. Also Read | Housefull 5 movie review: Akshay Kumar leads yet another loud, formulaic farce It's just the kind of stuff that can turn hokey and bumper sticker-y, and there are moments that threaten to flatten the sentiment, especially under the film's deliberate voiceover that sounds like a too-pleased-with-his-voice radio-jockey explaining something so simple that it never really needed an explanation in the first place. Some threads aren't teased out enough, the chief one being that locked room, which could have given us a little more of a jolt than the film manages. But having read the story and liked it (huge King fan here), I think I was primed to enjoy this film, which dives into its wares minus any pretense, and a bunch of effective acts, especially Ejiofor as a man who circles back to his one true love, Flanagan regular Hamill with a great scene in which he explains the magic of numbers, Sara whom you might remember from 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off', and who really lights up the screen here, Pajak as the youngest Tom who is such a natural twinkle-toes, and, yes, Hiddleston himself, who shows off some really cool moves. The Life Of Chuck movie cast: Tom Hiddleston, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benjamin Pajak, Jacob Tremblay, Mark Hamill, Karen Gillan, Annalise Basso, Mia Sara The Life Of Chuck movie director: Mike Flanagan The Life Of Chuck movie rating: Three stars

Featuring Arijit Singh's vocals, the number also features a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan, which got fans excited. Shot guerrilla-style during his trips to India, some of the visuals in the video are featured on his social media, including videos of him taking auto rickshaw rides or interacting with fans. The famous video of Arijit driving Ed on his scooter also features in the video, as does a selfie of Ed and Shah Rukh singing the lyrics of Sapphire. Ed has been teasing the desi beats and the line – cham cham sitaare warghi – for a while now. In a recent post about the song, Ed wrote 'love that guy' while referring to Shah Rukh and called Arijit 'the final jigsaw piece' of his song. He also teased that a full Punjabi version of the song with Arijit will be out soon. Fans were thrilled to see Shah Rukh in the video, even if for a few seconds. One fan commented on YouTube, 'Is no one gonna talk about SRK peek (heart emoji).' Another wrote, 'He is a cutie pie, he should have had more screen time.' Another called the song iconic, writing, 'This is iconic on so many levels. Having Arijit Singh AND Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in the same video like whatttttt.'
