It's also understood that acting legend Samuel L. Jackson is tipped for a key part in the movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Filming for the flick is expected to start over the weekend and will run into next week. However, it means that a number of roads will be closed throughout the city for days as a result. Some closures will kick in as early as tomorrow to stop vehicles from waiting, loading, and unloading in certain streets in preparation for the filming. The closures are being implemented by Glasgow City Council, which has warned that bus and taxi lanes will also be impacted, with a suspension in place. Glen Powell was spotted filming in and around the city, and he even popped into The Locale in Charing Cross for a wrap party. Rumours are swirling that director Abrams' new film is an 80s throwback loosely inspired by The Last Starfighter, but the title remains unknown. And more filming crews are set to swarm the city for Spider-Man 4. Some scenes being shot will reportedly 'involve vehicles on the road', with crews anticipating that Bothwell Street will be the focal point. It is understood that the Glasgow-based shoot for the upcoming Marvel blockbuster will commence in mid-August. He finished respectably in fourth place, tied with fellow Scotsman Richie Ramsay and England's Jack Senior at three under par. They take home just over £85,000 in prize money but the ace has landed Ferguson something extra sweet. The 28-year-old is now the proud owner of 750 stroopwafels, a local dough and syrup based cookie-like delicacy. His tasty triumph came at the seventh yesterday, one of only four holes where the prize was on offer to mark the 105th KLM Open. Afterwards, he said: "After three aces during practice rounds it was good to get one in a tournament. "I got onto the tee and given the toughness of the seventh hole, I thought 'a three here would be good', especially after a birdie the hole before. "Stroopwafels is just what I'm needing, so I will have them sent to my mum and dad. We'll have our own stroopwafel party," the Glasgow golfer joked. He wasn't the only representative of Scotland with something to celebrate, as one of his countrymen topped the table. Connor Syme clinched his first DP World Tour title in more than 180 attempts, with a final round of 70 to win the KLM Open. I was injured." She also added: "A gentleman does not abuse you and end up in jail and call you the love of his life. A gentleman does not blame you for his actions. A gentleman will confide in his partner, family and close circle of friends, keeping them close and safe. A gentleman chooses you always and leaves the past in the past - including exes. "Life is to be lived together and not to please people who want to take advantage of you. At the end of the day, fame can only do so much - it's all about being strong and growing together. Life is simply not a reality TV show, life is real. I have tried to understand why. I have cried so many tears thinking about the way he chose to hurt me.
