LOVE Island star Cashel Barnett has been thrown behind bars for "choking his ex" in front of his one-year-old child.
The 34-year-old, who appeared on season one of the dating show in 2019, was booked in Salt Lake City jail in Utah on Monday, according to TMZ.

He was charged with felony aggravated assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child and two counts of misdemeanour assault - after he "choked" the mum in from of the youngster on April 10.
The alleged assault was reported by his ex on April 24 prompting a felony warrant to be issued for his arrest.
But the realty star turned himself in on Monday.
He had previously been "on the run" the alleged attack reported by his ex-partner.

He is also accused of arguing with the mum of his child before she attempted to "calm him down", according to KUTV.
She claims he then "slapped her arms away", and when she walked off, he allegedly picked her up by the neck and threw her onto the bed.
The mum also claimed that the reality star continued to apply pressure on her neck, so much that she was "unable to breath or see clearly".
Barnett then allegedly slapped her in the face and told her "you're fine".

Barnett appeared on season one of Love Island USA, and has now been charged with felony domestic violence in Utah.
Following the alleged ordeal, the victim said she suffered from coughing, trouble swallowing, neck pain, nausea, vomiting, memory loss, and a headache.
Prosecutors said: "The report of strangulation is particularly concerning.
"Injuries related to strangulation can be serious, yet not necessarily apparent."

He wrote: "So sorry my friends. I'm devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I'll be back on stage and will see you soon." Rod signed off with a heartbroken emoji. The next slide on the text-based post confirmed the four cancelled dates are three performances at the Colosseum Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, and one at Lake Tahoe Amphitheater at Caeser's Republic in Stateline, Nevada. He is rescheduling two dates at casinos in California. Sir Rod has cancelled a number of dates at his Colosseum residency over the last week, with his scheduled June 2nd and June 5th performances. The multiple cancellations come after he was put on vocal rest between performances in May. Currently he is still set to perform at Glastonbury Festival, which takes place across June 27th to June 29th. He will be joined on the Pyramid Stage line-up by headliners Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975 and Neil Young. Nile Rogers, Noah Kahan and The Libertines will play alongside him on Sunday. I know they've been hosting Radio 1 together recently, which I think is great, but unfortunately I'm loyal to Heart FM - Amanda Holden cracks me up on the breakfast show! Back on track I'm feeling so much better this week after being run-down the last while. It's great to finally feel like myself again. I went to Oxford Natural Clinic last week to help me feel revitalised, and they topped up my Botox too, so I'm feeling glam again. Aside from filming Celebs Go Dating, which we are almost finished with, I've just been spending time with the family. Lilly has been home this week from Ireland and Molly's also just arrived, so I'm happy to have my babies back. I always love having the kids at home - it's the best feeling in the world.

At the time Jay Z denied the accusations via a post on social media, in which he wrote: 'My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a 'lawyer' named Tony Buzbee. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims Jay Z statement What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.
