General Hospital Feud? Laura Wright Talks Chemistry With Cynthia Watros
Things finally reached a head on General Hospital when Nina and Carly's argument escalated into a full-on soap opera catfight. Fortunately, Josslyn broke up the fight, but it looks like their alliance is over. The women have been at odds for ages, and Carly's portrayer, Laura Wright, opened up about working with Nina's Cynthia Watros and Carly's perspective on their feud.
Wright explained Carly's perspective to Soap Opera Digest, emphasizing that her truce with Nina was just a necessary evil. Carly hasn't forgotten that she caught Nina and Sonny (Maurice Benard) in bed together, and before that, Nina kept an amnesiac Sonny hidden away in Nixon Falls. Carly's mindset is, 'You kept Sonny away from his family, and we all almost died because of it.'

She explained that Carly doesn't trust Nina, but 'Outside of the pleasure of getting to work with Cynthia, who I think is one of the best humans on the planet, as far as Carly goes, it's, 'You are a means to an end.' ' Nina was horrified that Carly was pushing things and going for full custody of Willow's children, and that's how the whole physical altercation started.

According to Wright, Carly's fighting for her grandchildren since their father, Michael (Chad Duell), can't because he's recovering from severe burns in Germany. She explained that their alliance was tenuous at best, and Carly feels she doesn't owe Nina anything.

But Wright is enjoying this confrontation because she loves working with Watros and remarked that her scene partner is 'just amazing and hilarious and fun.' It's hard to believe these two on-screen enemies enjoy each other's company in real life, but they do. Wright explained that the bottom line of the beef between the women is, 'We're both mothers fighting for our kids, but everyone is acting like Michael is not even alive, and that's infuriating Carly.'

General Hospital Performer of the Month for May 2025: Giovanni Mazza
It's been an explosive month on General Hospital where many actors blew us away, but only one earned the top spot as Soap Hub's Performer of the Month in May. One of GH's most underrated, Dominic Zamprogna (Dante) has been serving up emotional moments for over a decade in Port Charles. This month, it was not just after finding out he has a son he never knew was his, but first when Rocco (Finn Carr) almost died from alcohol poisoning. Zamprogna captured the worry of a father, the smarts of a cop, and the blame game toward Gio long before the shocking truth came out. READ THIS: Here's what's coming up on GH. Also involved in the Baby Boy BLQ mess was Jane Elliot's Tracy. The GH vet lent so.e tenderness to her usually stern character after Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) admitted to her grandmother that she had a teen pregnancy and gave the baby up. But the most heartwarming moments came later when Gio was the one to tell her that he was her long lost great-grandson, and she took the reigns as a Quartermaine matriarch and invited him into the dysfunctional family with open arms. READ THIS: GH's April Performer of the Month. Say what you will about Willow, but her portrayer Katelyn MacMullen nailed the smitten girlfriend and devastated mom this month. First, the actress continuously pulled off Willow being almost hypnotized by Drew (Cameron Mathison), leading to her ultimate downfall. When Michael (Rory Gibson) snatched his children back, Willow instantly went from lovestruck to mama bear as she begged to see her kids, and when she was denied, she broke down outside Carly's (Laura Wright) door. Ever since the big reveal at the Nurses Ball, there was no doubt in our minds that this month's top honor would go to Giovanni Mazza (Gio). The young violinist-turned-daytime breakout star made us all feel every ounce of pain, shock, and betrayal that Gio felt after discovering that Brook Lynn and Dante are his true parents. Mazza's blowup at the ball captured Gio in a moment of rage that ended in him smashing his treasured violin to pieces and breaking out hearts along with it.

Did Emma Learn The Truth About Professor Dalton On June 3 General Hospital?
Despite a chaotic custody hearing and a mother-son confrontation, it was a single scene between Professor Dalton and Emma that caught everyone's attention during the June 3, 2025 episode of General Hospital. The Metro Court pool is officially open for the summer, and the first people going for a dip are Port Charles youngsters – Trina (Tabyana Ali), Kai (Jens Austin Astrup), and Emma (Braedyn Bruner). But they weren't the only ones by the pool. Also at the pool were Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard), Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and Jordan (Tanisha Harper). As the three conversed, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) showed up and introduced herself while Emma watched on, jealous. READ THIS: Here's what's coming up on GH. Emma's day only got a stranger from there. When Trina and Kai convinced her to join them in the pool, she stripped down to her bikini and hopped in. But when she loads back, she noticed Dalton eyeing her. READ THIS: Haley Pullos' (ex-Molly) latest post has fans begging for her GH return. Emma already isn't the true fan of Dalton's, only wanting the summer assistant position to get on the inside and take him down for his research on animals. But now, she may have even more of a reason to dislike the professor. Of course though, GH's two biggest storylines at the moment were at the forefront of today's episode. Michael (Rory Gibson) and Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) custody battle went off with a bang as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was forced to testify about Michael's involuntary manslaughter charge, while Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza, who is Soap Hub's May Performer of the Month) finally had words for each other for the first time since the big reveal.
