MP CM Mohan Yadav to inaugurate and lay foundation stone of development works worth Rs 33.88 crore in Pachmarhi tomorrow
Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 2 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is scheduled to visit Pachmarhi on Tuesday to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development projects worth Rs 33.88 crores.
According to an official release, CM Yadav will inaugurate five development projects worth Rs 12.49 crore for the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and lay the foundation stone for six projects valued at Rs 21.39 crore.
The development projects include a newly constructed Pink Toilet Lounge facility at Jatashankar and Pandav Caves, built under the Women Empowerment initiative at a cost of Rs 19 lakh and a pathway development project along both sides of the roads in the Jaistambh area worth Rs 10 crore. Similarly, a water pipeline and pump house facility connecting Dhoopgarh for improved water supply, the beautification of the Pachmarhi entrance gate, developed at a cost of Rs 35 lakh, and the renovated kitchen, restaurant, and newly constructed swimming pool at Satpura Retreat, a tourism facility, developed at a cost of Rs 1.35 crore.
Additionally, the projects whose foundation stones will be laid include work on developing security and facilities for tourists at Handi Khoh, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.98 crore under the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department. Similarly, the other projects are basic infrastructure development at tourist locations within Satpura Tiger Reserve costing Rs 2.13 crore, installation of an RO water supply plant with glass bottles as part of a plastic-free Pachmarhi initiative worth Rs 34 lakh, conversion of Hilltop Bungalow into a homestay, totaling Rs 6.70 crore, development of a community center under the MICE scheme at Rs 9.90 crore, and the establishment of a central nursery at Glen View worth Rs 34 lakh.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will also chair a cabinet meeting at Pachmarhi on June 3, which will be dedicated to the memory of Raja Bhabhut Singh, a symbol of the tribal community's bravery and valour, and his historical role will be remembered during the meeting. (ANI)

IndiGo passenger loses Rs 2.65 lakh deal after missing flight over boarding confusion
For a branding and social media consultant, an ordinary work trip turned into a costly ordeal after he missed an IndiGo flight from Jaipur to Mumbai and a high-stakes client meeting worth Rs 2.65 lakh along with a post on LinkedIn, Garg recounted his experience that has gone viral, with social media users criticising IndiGo's handling of the arrived at the Jaipur airport at 4:40am, cleared security by 5:10am, and was told boarding for his flight would begin shortly. With the gate area packed, he stepped away for a restroom break. When he returned just 12 minutes later, he was shocked to learn that boarding had already closed with no announcements made. 'I was literally surprised as the boarding was supposed to start not end. And the executive just said we're running 7-9 minutes behind. Over the top, there was no announcements made, and while I bought this up they clearly said that Jaipur is a Silent Airport,' Garg said in his infuriated him all the more was the lack of boarding announcements for the Mumbai flight - even though he had heard one just moments earlier for an IndiGo flight to I pointed that out, the staff denied it straight to my face. I pleaded with folded hands. I explained the urgency. I begged. Still, I was deboarded. No alternate option. No help with the next flight. No refund. No empathy. The result? We lost the client. Rs 2.65 lakh down the drain. A month's effort gone in seconds,' Garg Garg said in his post that, 'Through it all, not once did anyone at the airport say, 'Let's see what we can do.' This isn't about one missed flight. It's about accountability. It's about humanity.''The least we expect is a fair and transparent process or even just a little kindness. But today, I walked out of that airport feeling powerless, angry and sad to see the travel industry and the Indian landscape. We talk so much about customer experience and service excellence but when it's truly needed, no one shows up,' he concluded. In the comments section of the post, several users shared similar experiences and called for greater passenger rights and transparency.'If you had a boarding card, they have to announce your name and ask you to proceed to the gate,' a user said.
