Accenture has announced its agreement to acquire Yumemi, a Japan-based digital services and product provider, in a move that will push its ability to rapidly design and launch innovative digital products at scale for clients.
Founded in 2000, Yumemi has developed digital products for more than 600 companies across various industries, serving an estimated 60 million monthly active users worldwide. The company is known for its 'design engineering' approach, which brings designers and engineers together in integrated teams to accelerate product development and delivery.
Following the acquisition, Yumemi's team of around 400 professionals in Japan will join Accenture Song, the company's creative and technology arm.
Accenture said the move will expand its ability to support clients throughout the digital product lifecycle by tapping into user insights and combining both firms' strengths in data analytics and generative AI. The company added that demand for digital products continues to grow, as businesses seek new ways to engage customers and remain competitive.
By integrating Yumemi's development model with its own AI-driven transformation capabilities, Accenture aims to offer end-to-end support in building, operating, and refining digital products at scale.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions. Yumemi will become part of Accenture Song's design and digital products unit, following its 2024 acquisition of Work & Co.

The meeting was held to support and advance the national space ecosystem. His Highness reaffirmed the UAE's aim to strengthen its global leadership in the space industry. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships. He noted that strategic collaboration and long-term investment in emerging technologies are key to building an advanced and innovative space ecosystem. He also expressed confidence in UAE-based companies and entrepreneurs. Their contribution is seen as vital to driving the sector's growth and boosting the country's status as a global space hub. The Crown Prince revealed that the space sector is a major driver of future and sustainable economic growth. He added that the UAE is working to create a supportive environment for local businesses and attract new investment opportunities. Sheikh Hamdan reported that the private sector is now leading the UAE's space efforts. He praised the maturity of national investments made over the last 30 years. Several UAE-based companies participated in the meeting. These firms represent a range of specialisations, including: Internet of Things (IoT) solutions Artificial intelligence, robotics, and remote sensing Edge computing and high-resolution Earth observation They also showcased developments in reusable launch systems and simulation technologies. Participants discussed their current projects, long-term strategies, and future investments. They stressed the need to expand operations locally and globally, while strengthening collaboration with the government. They also highlighted the UAE's flexible regulations and advanced infrastructure. These were described as key enablers of innovation and growth. The Space Economic Zones Programme was welcomed by attendees. It was praised for enabling partnerships and supporting long-term development in the sector. The meeting was attended by several prominent figures, including Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Secretary-General of the Supreme Space Council. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Space Agency. Canon ( today announces the launch of some exciting and free-to-download firmware updates for its Auto Tracking Application RA-AT001, PTZ cameras, RC-IP1000 controller plus Cinema EOS and XF professional camcorders. The firmware is expected to be available from July onwards and consists of the following: AUTO TRACKING APPLICATION RA-AT001 Canon's renowned Auto Tracking PTZ capabilities have significantly evolved thanks to the latest firmware update adding the following new paid-for 1 features: Multi-Person Framing, Face Direction Framing and Sit/Stand Framing. These new features enhance the PTZ camera's ability to achieve pleasingly natural and professional compositions. Multi-Person Framing Ideal for visual podcasts, talk shows and lectures where it's important to keep several people together in the frame and maintain a well-balanced composition. Face Direction Framing Based on the direction in which the subject is facing, this function automatically leaves space in front of the face for a more aesthetically pleasing composition. Sit/Stand Framing When people sit down, the camera can now automatically zoom in on the individual. And when they stand up, the camera will automatically zoom out. PTZ CAMERAS New firmware is also available for Canon's range of PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras. Improvements include automatic RTMP/SRT streaming re-connection in the event of a network disruption, as well as the ability to reduce the frame rate of web-based live camera feeds to optimise performance on congested networks. MULTI-CAMERA CONTROL APP Canon's Multi-Camera Control App is a free-of-charge iOS smartphone / iPad application for controlling and monitoring up to four professional video cameras simultaneously. The new Multi-Camera Control App update will now allow PTZ cameras to be controlled and in addition will include Pan/Tilt, Preset Selection, Auto Tracking on/off operation plus pinch-in/out zoom. RC-IP1000 CONTROLLER Three important updates are now available via new firmware for the RC-IP1000 controller. Standard Communication serial support is added, which allows operators to control PTZ cameras indoors by serial communication, plus improvements have been made to camera pre-registration, with a long press on the touch panel added to register a preset and a larger Preset Thumbnail layout now added. CINEMA EOS AND XF PRO CAMCORDERS Enhanced virtual production support with Unreal Engine has been added by connecting multiple computers simultaneously, plus it is now possible to play RAW video files in-camera with digital lens correction applied and with improved OSD customisation. 1 RA-AT001 Auto Tracking Lite is pre-installed in compatible PTZ cameras. FUJIFILM Middle East and Africa has opened new offices at Expo City Dubai, including a Technology Centre designed to showcase the company's offerings and provide training across multiple regions. The Japanese firm announced the move on June 11, 2025, establishing the FUJIFILM Technology Centre (FTC) to support training for employees, business partners, and end-users across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia. This new investment by Japan's top company in healthcare, imaging and printing reflects the excellent relations between Japan and the UAE as well as the strategic position of the UAE as a global hub for business.
