ABC officially renewed Will Trent for a fourth season on April 3, 2025, ensuring the show's return as a midseason premiere in early 2026. New on Netflix in June 2025 — every movie and show coming this month

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Netflix has announced everything coming to the streaming service in June 2025 and it's a lot to unpack. So I'm highlighting five must-watch shows and movies that you need to add to your watchlist. The biggest name by far this month is a familiar one: "Squid Game." The hit Korean thriller is back for its third and final season, and it probably goes without saying, but you don't want to miss it. That's not the only returning show this month. "Ginny & Georgia" also returns for its third season, and the Shane Gillis comedy series "Tires" returns for season 2. Whether these are familiar names to you or not, they're undoubtedly the biggest names arriving on Netflix this month. Aside from these top picks, I've got the full slate of everything new to Netflix this month listed below. Plus, we have a roundup of what's leaving Netflix in June 2025, so you have one last chance to watch. Here's everything coming to — and leaving — Netflix this month. "Squid Game" has been one of the biggest shows on Netflix — ever. The dystopian Korean-language thriller is a must-watch whenever new episodes arrive, and this final batch of episodes will be no different. If you've never seen the show before, it stars Lee Jung-jae as Gi-hun, who starts the series as a down-on-his-luck divorced dad, estranged from his daughter and desperate for cash. He finds an opportunity for cash, but gets far more than he bargained for and is drawn into a series of deadly children's games with a massive cash prize. He's trying to end the games once and for all, but his attempt was thwarted at the end of season 2. Now, he's the prisoner of The Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) and he might never be seen in public again. Stream on Netflix starting June 27 "Ginny and Georgia" stars Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller, a 30-year-old mother who, between child abuse and being a mother since her teenage years, is carrying a lot of trauma. It's caused her to flee more than one relationship or home at the first possible sign of danger. That's been rough for her kids: Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca). But they've seemed to have found a home in Wellsbury, Massachusetts, and Georgia seems to have found a long-term partner in her husband-to-be, Paul (Scott Porter), who is the mayor of the town. But that fairy tale ending for their story has been put on hold. Georgia was arrested for murder during her wedding. Can the Miller family handle that pressure? Or will it fracture Ginny and Georgia's already stressed mother-daughter relationship? Stream on Netflix starting June 5 "Tires" stars Steve Gerben as Will, the manager of one of his family's struggling auto-repair shops. But he's not alone at Valley Forge Automotive Center. His obnoxious cousin Shane (Shane Gillis) messes with Will every chance he gets, as do, frankly, the rest of the staff. Season 2 begins with things looking good for Will, though. A surprise marketing win has Will and Shane riding high and the shop doing well, but now they face new challenges. This show is often more funny than good, but given that it's absolutely hysterical, it's still definitely worth watching. Stream on Netflix starting June 5 "The Waterfront" stars Jake Weary as Cane Buckley. Cane's part of the Buckley family, a prominent North Carolina fishing family, led by Cane's parents: patriarch Harlan (Holt McCallany) and matriarch Mae (Maria Bello). Things aren't going well for the Buckleys behind the scenes, though, and they're in danger of losing everything. That causes Harlan to turn to drug smuggling, and puts the Buckleys in bed with an up-and-coming drug lord, Grady (Topher Grace). Based on the trailer, "The Waterfront" looks like a healthy mix of comedy, melodrama and crime. It also looks like it could be Netflix's next surprise hit. Stream on Netflix starting June 19 This thriller stars Taraji P. Henson as Janiyah, a single mother whose day just keeps getting worse. She's just been evicted and is struggling to care for her sick daughter. With nothing left to lose, she holds a bank hostage until she can cash a check and get money to pay for her daughter's medicine. "Tyler Perry's Straw" also stars Sherri Shepherd as Nicole, the bank teller who has to stop Janiyah from doing something more drastic than she's already done. They're joined by Teyana Taylor as Detective Raymond, who empathizes with Janiyah and wants to bring her in without totally ruining her life. 'Euphoria' Star Eric Dane Broke Down Over His ALS Diagnosis Not Being 'The End' Of Him In A Heartbreaking New Interview Teaser

In April, Grey's Anatomy and Euphoria star Eric Dane announced that he's been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, saying in a statement to People: 'I have been diagnosed with ALS. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.' For context, Eric is 52 and shares two teenage daughters, Billie Beatrice and Georgia Geraldine, with his wife, Rebecca Gayheart. Rebecca filed for divorce from Eric in 2018, although in March — a month before his ALS diagnosis was made public — she requested to dismiss her petition. ALS, which is sometimes referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease or motor neurone disease, is a rare neurodegenerative illness that impacts nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, causing progressive paralysis of the muscles. The disease — for which there is currently no cure — causes people to gradually lose the ability to walk, speak, eat, and breathe independently, although it notably does not impact a person's thinking ability. The life expectancy after a person is diagnosed with ALS can vary between cases; however, according to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, most people with the disease are expected to live for three to five years after diagnosis. That said, everyone's experience with ALS is unique, and some people go on to live for decades. When announcing his diagnosis, Eric expressed gratitude that he's currently in a position to continue working, saying that he's 'looking forward to returning to the set of Euphoria,' which is currently shooting its long-awaited third season. Eddy Chen/HBO Eric stars in the Emmy-winning HBO series as Cal Jacobs, the father of Nate Jacobs, who is played by Jacob Elordi. Related: Here's Why People Are Raising Their Eyebrows Over Chris Pratt's Post About The Fatal Shooting Of His 'Parks And Recreation' Costar Jonathan Joss Now, in a teaser for an upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer for Good Morning America, the actor has given an emotional update on his situation, saying: 'I wake up every day and I'm immediately reminded that this is happening. It's not a dream.' Related: Here Are 10 Celebs Who've Publicly Admitted The Reasons Why They Regret Ending Their Marriages At one point in the 30-second teaser, Eric and Diane hold hands as he looks visibly emotional. 'I don't think this is the end of my story. I don't feel like this is the end of me,' he says. Good Morning America / ABC Towards the end of the clip, while presumably discussing the immediate aftermath of his diagnosis, Diane asks who the first person was that he called, prompting Eric to break down in tears. Good Morning America / ABC The GMA segment — which airs on Monday — marks Eric's first TV interview since his diagnosis. It comes after he spoke with Variety about the future of his career, saying he feels 'pretty capable' as far as acting is concerned. 'With real respect, I really don't want to talk about it. I made the announcement. That's what's going on with me; it's very personal to me,' he said when asked about his diagnosis. 'I am ready and willing to do just about anything, but I have limitations that I understand will preclude me from playing certain roles. I'm working on Euphoria. I finished Countdown. As far as that goes, I'm pretty capable.' You can watch the GMA teaser here, and this is where you can find his new interview with Variety, in which he also spills on shooting Euphoria Season 3. Disney's Doctor Odyssey In Distress Over Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Season 1 of The Walt Disney Company's 'Doctor Odyssey' has been highly received by fans, but recent ... More allegations of on-set misconduct may taint the fate of the show. Contributing Author: Nicole Page The Walt Disney Company's Doctor Odyssey premiered on ABC in the fall of 2024, with a star-studded cast featuring Dawson's Creek's Joshua Jackson, Hamilton's Phillipa Anne Soo, and Skins' Sean Teale. While the series started off as one of the channel's top-rated shows, recent allegations of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation from cast members may pose a threat to a second season. On May 30, 2025, three members of the production's prop department, Caroline Mack, Alicia Haverland, and Ava Steinbrenner filed a lawsuit against Disney and 20th Century Studios. The suit alleges sexual harassment, failure to prevent harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, and negligent hiring, supervision, and retention. According to the complaint, Tyler Patton, hired as a prop assistant and married to Prop Master Tammie Patton, was brought on despite prior knowledge of sexual harassment allegations against him on the set of Fox's House. While employed at Doctor Odyssey, Mr. Patton allegedly subjected the Plaintiffs to repeated instances of 'sexual jokes, innuendos, comments, sexual gestures and images, and unwanted touching,' from both Mr. Patton and his friends. When Mr. Patton was asked to stop, the victims were met with laughter and escalation of the sexual commentary. Mr. Patton was aware of his misconduct and position of power over his subordinates, verbally exclaiming, 'If I wasn't fucking the boss, I'd be fired' after one instance in which he showed Ms. Haverland a sexually explicit image. Ms. Patton witnessed some of these events firsthand, yet no action was taken until over two weeks after formal complaints were filed against Mr. Patton. Following her husband's termination, Ms. Patton allegedly retaliated against the Plaintiffs by screaming, assigning demeaning tasks, and threatening termination of employment, among other things. Instead of providing assistance, the plaintiffs allege that HR repeatedly undermined their concerns. In one cited instance, despite their requests for confidentiality and over the plaintiffs' objections, Ms. Patton was invited to a meeting to address her own conduct. When they complained, the plaintiffs were purportedly told '[T] In a written statement to Forbes' Legal Entertainment channel, legal representatives of the Plaintiffs have noted, 'As detailed in their complaint, our clients suffered severe and troubling sex-based harassment while working in the Doctor Odyssey props department. The companies that made and profited from Doctor Odyssey failed to prevent this egregious conduct and instead fostered a culture and workplace that allowed it to happen.' While the show left fans in awe, three members of the production's prop department alleged ... More disturbing details of what occurred behind the scenes, after being subjected to sexual harassment for weeks on end. On August 31, 2024, the entire prop department was notified their jobs were terminated with the exception of Don Bracken, Mr. Patton's friend and replacement. Directly after the so-called 'lay-offs' the production 'hired a whole new set of employees to replace the Plaintiffs and other Props Department employees for the Doctor Odyssey Season 1 project.' The lawsuit alleges that the layoffs are believed to have been orchestrated in retaliation for the complaints. Legal representatives of the Plaintiffs continued to write, 'When our clients took the difficult step of raising these issues with Defendants' human resources personnel, Defendants decided the 'show must go on' at all costs and with conscious disregard for our clients' well-being and careers. Instead of remedying the issues, Defendants took the easy route by summarily 'laying off' our clients and others in the props department and then replacing them shortly thereafter.' 'We look forward to presenting Defendants' misconduct to a jury and obtaining justice for Ms. Mack, Ms. Haverland, and Ms. Steinbrenner,' said the aforementioned legal representatives. At this time, the Defendants have not filed a counterclaim. Forbes has reached out to both parties for comments. Disney's response and what happens next in this litigation raises major stakes for a post #MeToo ... More society. The Plaintiffs' accounts outline a consistent pattern of misconduct, indifference of management, and institutional retaliation which was apparently implemented against multiple employees after they complained about sexual harassment. Movie sets, although perhaps more glamorous than offices, factories, or any other run-of-the-mill workplaces, are governed by the same employment laws and must provide the same employee protections as any other workplace. If instead of addressing employee complaints about sexual harassment, Disney's response was to fire the employees voicing the complaints, that would certainly constitute retaliation. According to the facts alleged, Disney went even further and also fired everyone else in the prop department who may have been subjected to or at least witnessed the complaints about behavior. That is an unusual and seemingly extreme move for an employer to make. It is not clear what motivated that action, although the Plaintiffs posit it was done in an effort to avoid additional complaints about the workplace environment. Above all, what seems especially egregious to me is that Disney may have known that Patton had prior harassment complaints made against him on other productions but hired him anyway. We are no longer in a peak #MeToo world, which makes it even harder for people who suffer harassment at work to speak up. Disney's response and what happens next in this litigation will be telling, not only about this case, but about whether we can expect to see a backslide to the time when men routinely got away with sexually harassing female employees and studios looked the other way. Let's hope that's not the case.
