Amran - Saba:
The First Deputy Governor of Amran, Abdul Aziz Abu Kharfsha, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Muhammad Ghallab, and the Education Sector Official in the Governorate, Zaid Rattas, inspected the progress of the General Basic Certificate exams.
They reviewed the level of discipline in the exam centers in Amran City, listening to an explanation from those in charge of the exam centers about the question distribution mechanism, the workflow of the committees, and the efforts made to provide a suitable environment for students.
The visitors praised the level of preparation and discipline of the students and those in charge of the exams, as well as the efforts made to ensure their success under the current circumstances imposed by the aggression and blockade.
The number of students taking the exams reached 17,310, distributed across 178 exam centers in the governorate and its districts.

The minister commended the efforts of the university's previous leadership, which successfully overcame numerous challenges in recent years. He acknowledged that change is a natural process, expressing confidence in the ability of the current university president and his team to continue the path of progress and development. He reiterated the ministry's support for the university's leadership in addressing various challenges, reinforcing the University of Sana'a's role as a leading academic and national institution. For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukaiti, President of the University of Sana'a, affirmed that the university is implementing a comprehensive plan to address current challenges , enhance academic and administrative performance. He noted that the university presidency has activated departmental councils and introduced new mechanisms to ensure financial transparency, including a structured salary disbursement system covering half of the monthly wages. Dr. Al-Bukaiti highlighted the university's priorities, such as disbursing teaching hour payments, covering operational expenses for colleges , centers, and providing monthly transportation allowances for academic and administrative staff, alongside infrastructure development plans for labs, workshops, and facilities. He directed the formation of a committee to evaluate the academic, administrative, and financial performance of the university's 25 research and service centers to enhance transparent and responsible resource management. The president stressed the importance of leveraging scientific research to improve the university's standing in international rankings, where it has made notable progress in recent years. Sana'a - Saba: A meeting held on Tuesday in Sana'a, attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hatem Al-Da'is and Deputy Assistant Director of the Prime Minister's Office for Planning Sector Ali Al-Mutamayiz, discussed the ministry's plans, priorities, and emergency plan for the current year. The meeting, which included several specialists from the planning sector at the Prime Minister's Office and the planning team at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, reviewed the emergency plan and the ministry's action plan for the year 1446 AH. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research praised the efforts of the planning sector at the Prime Minister's Office in supporting government agencies through the preparation and implementation of their general and emergency plans. He emphasized the need to overcome obstacles by fostering a shared sense of responsibility and unifying efforts to address workflow challenges. For his part, Al-Mutamayiz stressed the importance of consolidating efforts among various state institutions to implement the directives of the Revolution Leader and to prepare for emergencies, especially in light of the escalating aggression by the U.S. and Israel in targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure. Sana'a - Saba: Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hatem al-Duais, along with Undersecretaries Ibrahim Sharaf al-Din and Ziyad al-Rafiq, on Sunday conducted an inspection of the summer courses and basic certificate examinations in Sanhan district in Sana'a province. Accompanied by province's education sector official Talib Dahan, they reviewed the implemented programs at al-Nujum al-Asr and Ahl al-Kisa' summer centers within the district. During their visit, they emphasized the significance of the summer courses in developing and equipping young people with diverse skills, providing them with divine guidance and the teachings of the Holy Quran, and strengthening their faith-based identity through Quranic culture. They commended the active role of community committees in mobilizing participation for the summer courses and their efforts to achieve the program's objectives of consolidating a strong faith-based and Quranic cultural identity, ultimately aiming to cultivate a generation armed with knowledge and understanding, ready to uphold the responsibility of "jihad for the sake of God" and defending the homeland. The officials also reviewed the progress of the basic certificate examinations at al-Nabi al-Mukhtar Boys' and al-Hindwana Girls' Centers in the district. They received a briefing from district's education sector official Ahmed Nasser, regarding the progress of the examination committees and the level of student participation in the summer courses.
