Top of the Ticker: On Monday, NBC News debuted its first promo campaign highlighting Tom Llamas as the new anchor of the NBC Nightly News. The promo leans heavily into the Nightly News' legacy, featuring previous anchors and emphasizing the trust between the broadcast and its audience. Llamas takes over from Lester Holt, who is stepping down May 30 and taking on a full-time role at Dateline NBC. Llamas begins his new assignment on Monday, June 2. Debate moderator: Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Beam has been named the moderator for the sixth installment of The Senate Project, a joint project of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate and the Orrin G. Hatch Foundation. Beam will moderate a debate between Pennsylvania senators John Fetterman and David McCormick in Boston that will stream live on Fox Nation on June 2 at 9 a.m. ET. Also coming to Fox Nation is the third season of the racing docuseries 100 Days to Indy.
