Food and beauty have come together for a colourful collaboration. Charlotte Tilbury and EL&N have launched a pop-up at Dubai Festival City Mall. Running until 4 May, it showcases Charlotte Tilbury's new Pillow Talk Beauty Soulmates collection.
At the Charlotte Tilbury and EL&N pop-up, guests will be able to try out the new Pillow Talk Beauty Soulmates products. The trolley comes in bright pink with cute slogans – for example, 'Darlings, all you need is love and pillow talk'.
The Tilbury Treat is available, and guests can enjoy a one-hour makeover and a mini perfume. Guests will be able to indulge in the limited-edition menu, which has been inspired by the new collection.
Charlotte Tilbury is a British beauty brand, and it was created by the company's namesake. After she loved experimenting with make-up, she created a YouTube channel, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, which helped her gain a dedicated following. In 2013, the Charlotte Tilbury beauty brand launched. In 2015, she opened her first store in Covent Garden, London. Today, she has a worldwide reputation, and her stores can be found around the world.
In 2017, the first café EL&N café was opened on Park Lane in London by Alexandra Miller. She was born in the United States, lived in Egypt and is now based in London. Today, there are more than 32 stores in locations ranging from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Doha and Riyadh, and they are continuing to expand around the world.

Lymphedema typically occurs following the removal of lymph nodes, leading to fluid retention and swelling in the affected limb. Ayoub was born on March 8, 1932, in the Shubra district of Cairo. She graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, where she was mentored by the renowned theatre director Zaki Tulaimat. He introduced her to the stage while she was still a student, casting her in the play Khedmet El-Malika (The Queen's Service), which marked the beginning of her artistic journey. Throughout her illustrious career, Ayoub starred in numerous plays, including Siket El-Salama, El-Sebnsa, El-Nadam, Phedra, El-Wazeer El-Aasheq, and El-Soltan El-Haer. She served as the director of the Modern Theatre in 1972 and later managed the National Theatre from 1975, holding the position for 14 years. Her theatrical repertoire included 170 plays, five of which she directed, including Maqalib Atia. Ayoub's legacy remains a cornerstone of Arab theatre and cinema, leaving behind an indelible mark on the artistic world.

Amman International Film Festival announces details of sixth edition
This year, the festival welcomes Ireland as Country of Honour, focusing on Irish cinema with a specific section dedicated to it. The Amman International Film Festival – Awal Film has announced the details of its sixth edition, set to take place from July 2 to July 10 in Jordan's capital. This year's theme, 'A World Unscripted,' celebrates the raw, unpredictable nature of storytelling that mirrors the unscripted nature of real life. Festival President Princess Rym Ali explained that the theme reflects a commitment to showcasing films that defy convention and embrace the authenticity of lived experience. 'This edition embraces the unpredictable and the deeply human in the midst of a volatile and rapidly changing world,' she stated. 'Life doesn't follow a script; and recent years have certainly been unscripted. So, in this edition, we pay tribute to storytellers who dare to explore and narrate moments that feel more lived than written.' The festival's official poster, designed by HUE Innovation & Design, captures this spirit with a visual style that introduces both a playful tone and a subtle message of hope, reinforcing the core message of spontaneity and resilience. This year also marks a significant milestone for the festival with the introduction of its first-ever 'Country of Honour.' Ireland has been selected for this role, with a dedicated spotlight on Irish cinema featured in the programme. Festival Director Nada Doumani highlighted the thematic synergy between Irish and Arab films, noting that both cultures use cinema to explore identity, resilience, and the path toward peace. She emphasised that within the framework of 'A World Unscripted,' Irish and Arab stories find common ground in their exploration of human experience. Doumani also pointed to Ireland's principled stance and strong support for Palestine and human rights, which further resonates with the region and the spirit of this year's edition. Irish Ambassador to Jordan, Marianne Bolger, added: 'I am exceptionally proud that Ireland has been selected as the Festival's first Country of Honour, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the President of the Festival and its organisers. Ireland has a long history in cinema and filmmaking, and we are delighted to work closely with the AIFF to bring a collection of Irish films to Jordan that will hopefully resonate with audiences. Saudi Film Commission highlights national cinema at SXSW London

The event, known for gathering leading professionals across the creative industries, offers a global platform for innovation and collaboration through a wide range of programming, including film and TV screenings, exhibitions, panel discussions, live performances and networking opportunities, according to a report by Saudi Press Agency. As part of its contribution, the Commission will present a curated programme of short Saudi films under the 'Saudi Film Nights' initiative, designed to introduce international audiences to Saudi storytelling and support the global visibility of emerging national talent. In addition, the Commission will host a panel discussion titled 'Empowering the Film Industry in Saudi Arabia: From Vision to Reality.' The session will delve into cinema's role in shaping national identity, preserving heritage, and advancing Saudi content as a powerful cultural tool. Inside the Saudi pavilion, visitors will find an exhibition highlighting the achievements of the Kingdom's burgeoning film industry. Featured works include films that have achieved notable box office success, been selected for international film festivals, or received global accolades—emphasising the sector's rapid growth and increasing international recognition.
