Meghan Markle Had the Same Specific Pregnancy Craving With Both Lilibet and Archie
While most pregnant women are eating pints of Ben & Jerry's ice cream and jars of pickles (or both, combined) up until their due dates, Meghan Markle's craving when she was pregnant apparently looked a little different than the norm.
Over the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harry, had a double date night with singer Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, at Vij's, an Indian restaurant in Vancouver. And it was there that Markle shared her former pregnancy craving that wasn't your stereotypical choice with the owner and head chef, Vikram Vij.
'Meghan said that during her pregnancy, she had eaten only Indian food and I told her it was the best thing for her," Vij shared with Hello!, adding that the Sussexes "are amazing, extremely beautiful, and very friendly." Meghan and Harry have two children together—a son, Archie, 5, and a daughter, Lilibet, 3.
Markle and Harry are currently in Canada for the 2025 Invictus Games and left the kids at home. As for why they didn't bring Archie and Lilibet along for the big event, royal editor Emily Nash offered her opinion during a conversation with ITV royal journalist Lizzie Robinson on Hello! Magazine's A Right Royal podcast.
"Given the fact that the children are able to live a much more private life than their cousins...for example, because their roles are different," Nash explained. "I don't see why they would put them in that arena at this point."
Robinson added, "They have sort of kept the children incredibly private. I know we saw snippets of them in the Netflix docuseries, but really, the children have lived an incredibly private life."
Markle previously hinted that Archie and Lilibet wouldn't be present at this year's Invictus Games during an impromptu speech at the Family and Friends reception that took place ahead of the opening ceremony. "It is my entire pleasure and complete honor to introduce to the stage my husband, the father of our very sweet, excited children who are cheering you on from California, Prince Harry, founder of the Invictus Games, the Duke of Sussex," she said.

Alan Tudyk: Harry embraces his humanity in 'Resident Alien' S4
1 of 2 | Season 4 of Alan Tudyk's "Resident Alien" premieres Friday. Photo courtesy of Syfy/USA Network NEW YORK, June 6 (UPI) -- A Knight's Tale and Firefly icon Alan Tudyk says he loved playing a dual role in Season 4 of Resident Alien because the Mantid who steals the appearance of his extraterrestrial character Harry is so deliciously wicked. "It was great. I wish I could play a third [character]," Tudyk, 54, joked with reporters in a recent Zoom round-table interview. "I liked being the Mantid. He was cool. i like getting to smoke cigarettes," he added. "I saw him as this appetite. He lands. He's there. He's a predator." Harry is a space alien who unexpectedly makes friends with humans in a small Colorado town before he can complete his mission to destroy the Earth. Harry is a genius, confirmed. Don't miss the season premiere of #ResidentAlien tonight, Friday at 11/10c on @USANetwork and @SYFY! USA Network (@USANetwork) June 6, 2025 Season 4, premiering Friday on Syfy and USA Network, finds the real Harry imprisoned on the moon, emotional and without his super powers, while the Mantid impersonates him and takes over his life in the Rocky Mountains. "Harry is Harry. He's a little more unsure of himself," Tudyk said. "He's open to growth. He's the alien that came to kill everybody, but he had a heart and then, this season, he definitely has a very different journey from the Mantid because he has lost his alien energy." This development brings Harry even closer to Asta (Sara Tomko), D'arcy (Alice Wetterlund) and the folksy denizens of Patience, Colo. "He's human now and, so, that opened up a whole other journey for him -- not just becoming more human and looking at these other people as: 'Oh, I like these humans. They have these great qualities and some bad qualities' -- but to actually be one and now go like, 'i'm on this side of it now,' and have to come to accept that part of himself was pretty great," Tudyk said. Show-runner Chris Sheridan said part of the fun each season is having more people discover Harry's big secret. "I don't want to give away what happens as far as knowledge this season, but I will say that anytime anyone new finds out about Harry, it adds a new dynamic to the show, which is always helpful," Sheridan said. "But you also don't want to do it too quickly because there's also energy in the secret of it and people not knowing what's going on," he added. "So, it was really a great move at the end of Season 2 to have D'arcy find out because, then, you can come into Season 3 with a whole new piece of storytelling where now D'arcy is part of it all, so adding someone else to that list carries a lot of weight." Sheridan confirmed that another character will learn Harry's true identity in Season 4. "I don't want to say who or give it up, but there's a lot of moves this season," he said. "One thing you don't want to do, especially with a couple of hundred TV shows on the air is to take your time and bore people," he added. "So, we've always been very conscious of doing big setups and big payoffs and, with every episode, trying to have a lot of stuff happen, so this season is a very good example of that." Tudyk chimed in: "That's exactly what I would have said, to the word! That's how in sync we are!" The show also stars Corey Reynolds, Elizabeth Bowen, Meredith Garretson, Levi Fiehler and Gary Farmer.

Where Queen Camilla Stands on King Charles and Prince Harry's Rift
Prince Harry is embroiled in a yearslong feud with both his father King Charles and his brother Prince William. How does Queen Camilla feel about it all? Well, she's intentionally staying out of it, a source said. There is a complicated dynamic between Camilla and Harry anyway, going all the way back to when Camilla was Charles' mistress during his marriage to Harry's mother Princess the father-son rift between King Charles and Prince Harry rages on—escalated, perhaps, even further by Harry's emotional BBC interview last month where he said, in part, that he didn't know how much longer his father had to live—how does Queen Camilla feel about it all? It seems, according to reporting from People, that Camilla is keeping her distance from the feud, as well as that of Harry and brother Prince William. She simply 'stays out of it,' a source told the outlet for its new cover story this week. Camilla—who was long the mistress of Charles during the King's marriage to Harry's mother, Princess Diana—was described as 'dangerous' by the Duke of Sussex in his 2023 memoir Spare. Harry also alleged that Camilla leaked stories about him to the press in an effort to rehabilitate her image following years of bad press as the other woman. Of Charles and Camilla's 2005 wedding—eight years after the death of Diana in a 1997 car accident—Harry wrote he 'had complicated feelings about gaining a stepparent, who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.' Harry elaborated in a 2023 interview with Good Morning America, where he said that Camilla 'had a reputation or an image to rehabilitate, and whatever conversations happened, whatever deals or trading was made right at the beginning, she was led to believe that that would be the best way to doing it.' As for their relationship now, Harry said at the time, 'We haven't spoken for a long time.' 'She's my stepmother,' he continued. 'I don't look at her as an evil stepmother. I see someone who married into this institution, and done everything she can to improve her own reputation and her own image, for her own sake.' Royal biographer Christopher Wilson told People that Harry 'was justified in his complaint that he and William were used in the early days to legitimize the partnership' of Charles and Camilla. Of the Queen, 'Over time, she's learned to roll with the punches,' he added. 'Harry's feelings have been well-known to her over many years. Her reaction to Harry's comments would be limited to a sad shake of the head.' Of Camilla becoming Queen upon his father's coronation in May 2023, royal biographer and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward said, 'William is quite calm about it. But it will stick in Harry's throat a bit.' As for the ongoing feud between Harry and his father and brother, 'the underlying issue is trust,' royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith told People. 'The King and William don't trust Harry and Meghan [Markle] with any kind of confidential conversation.' Harry's recent BBC interview, royal biographer Valentine Low added, 'wasn't meant to be an attack, but it would be seen as one. It makes Charles reaching out even harder.' Editors Guild Protests Against Nonfiction Producer Story Syndicate At Tribeca Premiere Of OceanGate Submersible Documentary ‘Titan'
EXCLUSIVE: The Motion Picture Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700) has staged a protest against nonfiction production company Story Syndicate outside the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of its OceanGate submersible documentary Titan. Audience members were greeted outside the Village East by Angelika theater Friday evening by guild members distributing fliers that call attention to Story Syndicate's 'anti-union conduct' and put pressure on management amid contentious negotiations. More from Deadline Disney Layoffs Hit TV Development & Casting Executive Ranks Crew Strikes Against Terrence Howard Film 'Cipher' After Production Refuses IATSE Contract IBEW Touts "Landmark" New Tentative Agreement With CBS The MPEG brought charges of Unfair Labor Practices against Story Syndicate before the National Labor Relations Board in March, accusing the Harry & Meghan producers of refusal to bargain and bad faith bargaining. 'This company brands itself as a champion of progressive filmmaking,' Alan Heim, ACE, President of Motion Picture Editors Guild, said in a statement to Deadline. 'But when it comes to honoring the rights of the very workers who bring these stories to life, their actions tell a different story. Editors deserve respect, security, and a contract that reflects their value.' He continued: 'We support bold nonfiction storytelling, but the treatment of workers behind the camera should be just as bold, just as fair, and just as progressive.' The MPEG and the Writers Guild of America East won their joint effort to unionize producers and editorial employees at Story Syndicate in 2023. Since then, the MPEG says, management has 'repeatedly delayed negotiations, backtracked on offers it had previously placed on the table, and refused to budge from outrageous positions calculated to kill the prospect of a negotiated agreement.' The union also accuses Story Syndicate of insisting upon retaining the right to cut employees' weekly pay without cause or warning. This union action against the company comes about six months after the Editors Guild and the Writers Guild of America East jointly petitioned Story Syndicate to finalize a fair deal. At the time, more than 250 members of the unions called on the company to 'be the industry leaders they are and set a precedent others can follow to create a truly inclusive and transparent work environment.' 'Long delays, proposals that are out of line with industry standards, and refusals to respond to important proposals would not reflect well on the company's stated principles,' read the petition, which included signatures from Lilly Wachowski, John Walsh, Tom Fontana, and Josh Gondelman. Titan explores the story behind the OceanGate submersible implosion that dominated the news cycle for days in 2023. Directed by Marc Monroe, the film is set to premiere globally on Netflix on June 11. Story Syndicate was co-founded by Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan in 2019. It has become quite known for producing social impact documentaries and nonfiction series, such as Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer and Last Take: Rust and the Story of Halyna. Other projects from the company include Nuclear Family (HBO), I'll Be Gone In The Dark (HBO), and The Innocence Files (Netflix) as well as documentary features like Fauci (Nat Geo), Becoming Costeau (Nat Geo), Mayor Pete (Amazon), Britney vs. Spears (Netflix), and All In: The Fight For Democracy (Amazon).
