AUGUSTA, Ga. — Moving day? More like quarterback day at Augusta National Golf Club.
Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence, as well as Peyton and Eli Manning were all on hand Saturday at the 89th Masters Tournament.
Lawrence, donning an 'ANGC' hat, wore a 'Members Guest' badge, and spent the early afternoon sipping an Azalea on the clubhouse lawn.
Josh Allen, after playing Augusta Country Club on Friday, sported a University of Wyoming lid, while the Manning brothers could be found in green coats.
Also in attendance Saturday was former NFL star Michael Strahan, Florida governor Ron DeSantis and Bret Baier of Fox News.

Young QB Draws Josh Allen Comparison From Former Buffalo Bill

Young QB Draws Josh Allen Comparison From Former Buffalo Bill originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Buffalo Bills' first two selections in the 2018 NFL Draft were quarterback Josh Allen, taken with the No. 7 overall pick, and defensive tackle Harrison Phillips, taken with the No. 96 overall selection. Advertisement Phillips and Allen spent four years together as teammates on the Bills before Phillips signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2022, where he has remained since. Phillips watched Allen grow from a rookie who threw more interceptions than touchdowns, to a budding star and Pro Bowler who developed into a leader. Phillips is getting deja vu with his new young quarterback, J.J. McCarthy. "I've commented before about (how) he came to me the week after his injury to try to learn more about the defense," the Vikings defensive tackle said on Monday, via "Asking those great questions. He's really stepped up in the personal power role (this year). In the locker room, I'm constantly seeing him go up to new guys, to new players, dapping each other up, sitting on the couches and just having conversation. Where last year it was off to rehab, off to meetings. He understands that we have to build a family here and that you can't have unique results without unique relationships." McCarthy was selected with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but missed his would-be rookie season due to a torn meniscus discovered in the preseason. McCarthy became the first quarterback in NFL history to miss his entire rookie season due to injury after being a first-round selection. Advertisement The injury has not deterred the former Michigan standout, who won a National Championship in 2023. According to Phillips, his blossoming leadership is reminiscent of Allen. "And then, man, he's got some confidence. And he reminds me of Josh Allen when I was with him in Buffalo, coming into his own and understanding the power that he has to lead this organization, and he's doing a fantastic job doing that." McCarthy was a highly-touted prospect in the draft. He threw 22 touchdowns in back-to-back seasons, throwing just nine interceptions between his two final collegiate years. McCarthy led the Big Ten with a 72.3 percent completion rate in 2023. It's Chiefs vs. Bills In Top-Ranked Rivalry Game In 2025

It's Chiefs vs. Bills In Top-Ranked Rivalry Game In 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Kansas City Chiefs have been at the top of the NFL for the past couple of seasons, winning two of the last three Super Bowls and regularly beating some of the best teams in football. Advertisement After their exploits last season, the Chiefs again made it to the Super Bowl for a third consecutive year, and again, they slayed the Buffalo Bills, this time in the AFC Championship game, to get there. The Chiefs/Bills, Patrick Mahomes/Josh Allen rivalry is now perhaps the modern-day Tom Brady/Peyton Manning, with both usually playing each other in the postseason. And in 2025, the Chiefs are again facing off against the Bills - on November 2 at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park - in what Kevin Patra has as his No. 1-ranked game of the year. "Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes make for appointment viewing on their own -- when they are on the same gridiron, it's a must-watch live situation," Patra writes. "Buffalo and Kansas City have faced off nine times since 2020, and while the Bills have won four straight regular-season clashes, they have yet to get over the postseason hump against Mahomes and Co. The influence this matchup tends to have on playoff seeding adds extra importance to the high-powered showdown between two otherworldly quarterbacks." Kansas City Chiefs guard Trey Smith (65) blocks Buffalo Bills defensive end Greg Rousseau (50) in pursuit of quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15). Mark Konezny-Imagn Images In what is a rather odd scenario, the Chiefs have beaten the Bills the last four times in the postseason, but the Bills have beaten the Chiefs in their last four regular-season meetings. Advertisement Odd, indeed. With the Chiefs' shine being taken off after the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Bills seemingly in perhaps their best position to strike in the AFC, this game could decide the playoff seeding, which, as we know, is of the utmost importance. It will be Mahomes vs. Allen again, with bragging rights on the line. Grab your popcorn, folks. Buffalo Bills Added 'Summer Breakout Candidate'

Buffalo Bills Added 'Summer Breakout Candidate' originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Buffalo Bills are trying to make their way to the franchise's first Super Bowl appearance in 30 years. General manager Brandon Beane has been wheeling and dealing this offseason trying to construct the best possible roster they can to bring the Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo. Advertisement Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine identified each NFL team's most important position battle and breakout candidate, with both categories directly tied to moves Beane has made this offseason. The Bills' top summer breakout candidate is former Los Angeles Chargers' wide receiver Joshua Palmer. "Josh Palmer might not be a breakout player in the traditional sense, but he's someone who could have a bigger impact than most are anticipating." Ballentine wrote. "General manager Brandon Beane was adamant that the Bills had the right receivers on the roster after the draft. Adding Palmer is one of the reasons why." Ballentine believes that playing next to Josh Allen specifically can help elevate Palmer's production to the next level. Advertisement "He already has four years of NFL experience, including a 769-yard season in 2022." Ballentine noted. "But he's still just 25 years old, and playing in a more established offensive ecosystem in Buffalo with Josh Allen could see him reach a different level." Ballentine drew attention to the cornerback position as the most important position battle for the Bills, especially as it pertains to who starts on the outside opposite of Christian Benford. "The Bills have every right to be thinking Super Bowl, but they won't get there if they don't have the secondary to compete with elite offenses." Ballentine wrote. "That's one of the biggest questions heading into summer team activities. Specifically, who is starting across from Christian Benford?" The Bills brought back a pair of veterans in Dane Jackson and Tre'Davious White, while also drafting a pair of cornerbacks in Maxwell Hairston and Dorian Strong, meaning there's a lot of possibilities for how the battle could shake out. Advertisement "Rasul Douglas manned the spot last season, but he struggled late in the season and hasn't been re-signed." Ballentine pointed out. "Ideally, Hairston would be able to win the job as a first-round pick. That would go a long way toward helping fans forget about the Kaiir Elam experience."
