WFP resume flour distribution to Palestinian families in Gaza doon
New York - Saba:
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) announced on Wednesday its decision to resume flour distribution to Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, including the northern governorates, in the near future.
According to the Palestinian news agency "Safa," the WFP explained that this decision came after obtaining approval from enemy forces to resume direct distribution to families, following a suspension since May 19.
The WFP called on the community to "unite efforts and work together to support the safe , orderly delivery and distribution of food to all families across Gaza."
It emphasized that the distribution of vital supplies requires safe and unimpeded access to all people, noting that recent attacks on aid trucks, warehouses, and humanitarian workers have severely endangered relief operations and the community.
The WFP warned that looting and attacks on humanitarian aid convoys deprive children and women—who wait in line to receive desperately needed food—and further complicate aid delivery and distribution efforts.
The program urged community cooperation to ensure safe and dignified distribution operations.

Israeli enemy warns tens of thousands of Palestinians to evacuate northern Gaza Strip
Gaza – Saba: The Israeli enemy army has warned tens of thousands of Palestinian citizens in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday to evacuate their homes "immediately." The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that the evacuation warning included Abdulrahman neighborhood in northwest Gaza City and the al-Nahda neighborhood in Jabalia refugee camp. The residents of these areas are formerly displaced persons, forced by Israeli enemy authorities to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip and move south at the beginning of the genocide, before being "allowed to temporarily return" to the northern Gaza Strip. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that, as of May 28, 81% of the Gaza Strip was located within Israeli military zones or subject to evacuation orders. The UN Office indicated that since the resumption of the aggression on March 18, the Israeli army has issued 31 evacuation orders, subjecting approximately 229.4 square kilometers of the Gaza Strip to evacuation orders that are still in effect. According to a recent report by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), at least 1.9 million people, or approximately 90% of the population, were displaced throughout the Gaza Strip during the aggression. Many of them were displaced multiple times, some 10 times or more. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
