On the northbound route, delays are likely between J6 and J4, between J7 and J5, and between J9 and J6.
Congestion has also been reported between J9 and J7, between J12 and J9, J13 and J11, and between J17 and J14, all on the northbound route.
Drivers have been told: "Some delays to your journey may occur.
