The Springboro High School graduate was the No. 34 pick by the Seattle Storm in the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday.

Hobbs graduated from Springboro in 2021 and helped the Panthers to a district championship, according to the University of Michigan athletic department.
'Congratulations to SHS alum (Jordan Hobbs) on being selected in the WNBA Draft tonight with the 34th pick!' the Springboro Girls Basketball Program wrote on social media. 'We are so happy for you. Seattle is getting a great player. Awesome Job--hard work pays off. Way to go!! Everyone in Springboro is proud of you.'
She averaged over 13 points and grabbed nearly five rebounds per game in her senior year at Ann Arbor.
Hobbs scored a career-high 28 points in the Wolverines' NCAA Tournament win over Iowa State on March 21.

"I'll miss this weekend's game, but after that, it's day-by-day and see how I feel, and just turn to the medical staff and what they think," Clark said. "I feel like I've made a lot of progress and I feel good, and I'm not going to rush coming back. It's just not worth it. But after this weekend, I'll be reevaluated and we'll have a better idea of when I'll return." And as a stream of Fever fans approached her, Clark (as well as fellow injured guard Sophie Cunningham) spent the better part of an hour signing autographs for fans and taking pictures. She has been out for the past two weeks because of a quad injury--the first missed time because of injury in her career--but she has still been showing up at Fever games as she rehabs. Advertisement She was on hand at the United Center on Saturday night for the Fever's victory over the Chicago Sky, and spent considerable time before the game signing autographs and taking photos with fans who had come to watch her play. But she drew the line on one thing: She was not about to autograph Sky materials. That was shown in a video on X from Saturday in which Clark signed a string of autographs only to smile and pass on signing what appeared to be a Chicago Sky-colored shirt. A post from the account, "The Indiana Fever," noted, "Caitlin Clark refused to sign the Chicago Sky merch." The fan who had tried to get her to do so, it should be pointed out, laughed it off.
