What is the Women's Champions League?
The Women's Champions League is a competition which takes place each year and sees the best European clubs go head-to-head.Like the men's competition, it's run by UEFA - which is the organisation in charge of football in Europe and first took place in 2001.
When and where will the Women's Champions League final be played?
The final will be played at the Estádio José Alvalade in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, on Saturday 24 May.It will be the fourth time the final has been played in Portugal, after the country hosted in 2014, 2020 and 2021.The stadium was built in 2003, is the home of Sporting CP and has a capacity around 50,000.Kick-off time for this final is at 5pm.
Who is going to win the Women's Champions League final?
Well that is a question we can't answer - not yet anyway! Barcelona will be going into the match looking to hold onto the title for the third year running.But that doesn't mean Arsenal don't stand a chance, far from it, they've won the title before in 2007 and beat eight-time winners Lyon to get to the final.The Gunners also have the Women's Super League player of the year in their team in Mariona Caldentey. What is the Women's Champions League trophy like?
The trophy itself weighs 10kg and is 60cm tall - so that's the twice the size of the long rulers you might find in your classroom.It's made of sterling silver and has two spiralling arms which come off a central body, that's where you can find the names of the clubs that have won the competition engraved.The original trophy is only used for the official presentation ceremony at the final, clubs are instead given a full size replica to take away.Winning players are given gold medals, while the runners-up are given silver ones.

S porting president Frederico Varandas has denied rumours that the club would accept €70m for the transfer of Viktor Gyokeres. He has also revealed that there has not been a single offer made for the Swedish striker, despite establishing himself as hot property this season, recently being targeted by Man Utd and Arsenal. The 27-year-old's contract runs until the summer of 2028, and contains a release clause of €100m. Varandas has shut down speculation that a 'gentleman's agreement' has been made to allow Gyokeres to move during the transfer window for €70m. However, he has also revealed that the club will not demand the full amount the striker's release. He told reports on Wednesday: "I can guarantee that Viktor Gyokeres will not leave for 60 million euros plus 10 million euros because I never promised that," "To this day Sporting has not had an offer for Gyokeres, neither today nor last season," he added. Gyokeres has been growing increasingly frustrated at the club's lack of action in his movement, and threatened to go on strike to force a move. His agent has been informed that Sporting will not be seeking the full release fee, but they will not be setting a fixed price to activate a transfer. "It's not worth us setting a value because I don't know what will happen in a year's time," "I don't know if it will be 40 million euros, 60 million euros or 80 million euros. What I can guarantee is that I will not demand 100 million euros.'"

Textor, 59, has been trying to flog his shares as Uefa threaten to throw Palace out of next season's Europa League. As Textor, who owns a 43 per cent stake in Palace, is also majority owner of French side Lyon, who have also qualified for the Europa League, the Eagles' place in Europe has come under threat. Uefa rules dictate that two teams under the same ownership cannot compete in the same competition. Textor could have placed his shares into a blind trust by March 1 to avoid this issue, but with Palace's FA Cup triumph still appearing to be a long shot at the time, the American businessman did not. Palace chiefs are currently desperately trying to convince Uefa that Textor has no involvement in day-to-day goings on at the club. The Missouri-native has long been thought to be trying to flog his shares. And according to Sky Sports, Jets owner Johnson has made a bid. Johnson, 78, served as US ambassador to the UK during Donald Trump's first administration. Last month it was reported that the New Jersey-native may even try to buy a controlling stake in the Eagles. Long-serving chairman Steve Parish owns around 10 per cent of the South London club, having helped to save them from going bust in 2010. Americans David Blitzer and Josh Harris own 36 per cent, with Textor possessing 43 per cent. Parish and Textor are said to have fallen out in 2023.
