Lions arrive in Australia with concerns over Irish duo
The British & Irish Lions have touched down in Australia with head coach Andy Farrell revealing there remain lingering injury concerns over Jamison Gibson-Park and Hugo Keenan.
Farrell's squad arrived into Perth after a 20-hour journey from Dublin via Doha ahead of Saturday's opening fixture on Australian soil against the Western Force.
There's doubt over whether Ireland duo Gibson-Park and Keenan will be able to take part at Optus Stadium because of respective glute and calf problems, but Scotland centre Huw Jones has recovered from an Achilles issue and is available.

"We'll see how they pull up in midweek," Farrell said of Gibson-Park and Keenan.
"Huw Jones is good, he's been training. He trained fully with us last week so he's up and running."
Farrell confirmed the team against Western Force will mostly be made up of players from Leinster, Bath and Leicester, who joined up with the Lions after last Saturday's United Rugby Championship and Premiership finals.
There were no fresh injuries arising from Friday's 28-24 defeat by Argentina at the Aviva Stadium, with Farrell keen not to dwell on the disappointing tour send-off.
"We're here to build for what's going to be a fantastic Test series. We want to play some good rugby along the way," he said.
"We'll find out more about each other as we keep on going. Of course, we'll analyse what went on against Argentina and why, but that's all part of the journey - to understand where we need to go next.
"It's great to be here, this is what it's all about. We're here for a good time. Hopefully we can start this part of the tour off really well on Saturday."
English star Tom Curry warned his teammates they cannot afford to waste a moment in their search for respect as they target an immediate response to the Pumas' loss.
"The thing with this sport and this tour is that it comes and goes so quickly. You've got to make the most of it," the England flanker said.
"Every meeting and every session. Before you know it we'll be playing in Australia so we can't let moments pass us by.
"We speak a lot about respect with our own teammates. We've only got six weeks together. Respect is so hard to earn but so easy to lose.
"It's really important that every session and meeting we turn up and push in the right direction.
"We have got to pull tighter, it's the only way. I feel like this group has taken so many steps off the field. I haven't got a bad word to say about anyone."

Cruel blow for Titans and Queensland as State of Origin hopeful ruled out
The Gold Coast Titans were reportedly left fuming on Sunday night when Jayden Campbell was ruled to have a category 1 concussion, despite passing his head injury assessment in the dressing rooms. And it could have State of Origin ramifications for Billy Slater and Queensland. Campbell was ordered off the field in the first half of the Titans' 36-20 loss to Parramatta, after an innocuous incident in which he appeared to cop a knock from a teammate. The Titans halfback lay prone on the ground for a few seconds, which resulted in the independent doctor ruling him a category 1. The cat-1 ruling meant Campbell was automatically ruled out for the rest of the game, and will now miss Gold Coast's Round 17 clash with the Cowboys due to the 11-day stand down protocol. But the Titans reportedly felt the independent doctor acted too hastily, especially after Campbell passed his head injury assessment in the sheds. Jake Duke of Fox League reported the Titans were filthy that Campbell had been ruled out straight away, and couldn't come back into the action. Unless the Gold Coast can prove that Campbell didn't suffer a concussion - and that his initial symptoms were not indicative of concussion - and he passed all subsequent testing, he won't be playing next week either. Slater will pick his team for the series decider at the end of Round 17, and with Campbell not playing he won't be able to press his case for an unlikely call-up. Many have suggested Campbell would be the perfect bench utility in Origin - or a valuable 18th man at the very least. Should the Maroons suffer an injury in the back-line between now and Origin 3, it's not inconceivable that Campbell would come into contention. Slater picked Kurt Mann as his bench utility in Game 2, and Ezra Mam as 18th man. But Campbell actually covers more positions than Mam, and with the Titans on the bye in Round 18 (when Origin players aren't allowed to play club footy), he might have been a more desirable selection so Mam was available for the Broncos. Tommy will come in and fill that role, at first thought anyway, if JC (Campbell), which is more than likely, is not to play (against the Cowboys)." Campbell's absence left the goal-kicking duties to second-rower Beau Fermor, who had never kicked a goal at first-grade level before Sunday night. Govers hat-trick sparks Kookaburras comeback win
Blake Govers has fired a stunning match-saving hat-trick as Australia fought back to secure a remarkable Pro League victory over England in London. The Kookaburras, who had seven penalty corners in the first half, were given a flying start when Victorian Cooper Burns showed quick hands in the circle to net in the fourth minute. England were level nine minutes later when Zach Wallace scored via a scrappy field goal before home debutant Henry Croft put them ahead in the second quarter. Kookaburras' Pro League dream dies with England defeat
Australia's hockey men have fallen short in their bid to successfully defend their international hockey Pro League title, a 2-1 defeat to their old rivals England in London finally ending the Kookaburras' terrific unbeaten streak. The defeat for Tim Brand's side, after a brilliant sequence of six straight wins in Argentina and Europe, finally put paid to their hopes at the Lee Valley Centre with the Netherlands sealing the title that the Aussies had won in 2024. Advertisement It was a frustrating end to their thrilling European push and they only had themselves to blame, Tom Craig having a penalty stroke brilliantly saved by a diving England keeper James Mazarelo and the team managing to convert only one of 16 penalty corners. While England celebrated their first victory in hockey's 'Ashes' for 11 years, there was frustration for Brand as he reflected: "It's a shame to let that one slip today. "But we've come away to learn on this tour, and second (place in the league) is still up for grabs. I'm very proud of what we've done so far, it's not over yet. Advertisement "We played well, created a lot of chances, we were physical and we had a lot of energy, but we just couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. We'll go away and look at that, it's a young group and we'll take a lot from this game." Then Waller proved the home hero, scoring a brilliant winner in the fourth quarter to give the hosts their first win after nine straight losses against Australia since 2014. Just 24 hours after getting hammered 4-0 by the hosts in Berlin, the Aussie women turned the tables emphatically on a sweltering afternoon, overcoming a 3-1 halftime deficit to win thanks to 15-minute burst in the second half. Goals from Greta Hayes, Courtney Schonell, Grace Stewart and Lexie Pickering earned the famous win in their last match before September's three-match World Cup qualifying showdown against New Zealand in Darwin.
