How to watch the 2025 College World Series: Schedule, matchups and TV info for MCWS bracket

For once, we can holler 'Omaha' without Peyton Manning appearing like Beetlejuice. The annual Men's College World Series goes down in the Cornhusker State's major metro, with ballgames starting off Friday and Saturday. Cheers to metal bats and energy trains. ESPN broadcasts can be streamed on ESPN+. ABC broadcasts are free with a broadcast antenna. If the above listings look disorienting or intimidating, just know that the College World Series is double-elimination style across two brackets — think of those as the Friday and Saturday sides. This year's field is one of the most expansive in tournament history, with six different conferences represented (and one independent) and zero returning teams from 2024. Advertisement Friday begins with Arizona against nationally ranked Coastal Carolina. It's a rematch of the 2016 championship series, which ended with the Chanticleers seizing their first-ever NCAA title. Behind ace Jacob Morrison, Coastal Carolina's pitching has been elite this season, entering the tournament with the nation's second-lowest collective ERA at 3.21. The offense is 33rd in scoring and tied for 107th in homers, but it's been coming on especially strong down the stretch — 29 runs across the three-game South Carolina regional, and 11 runs in two wins against No. 4 Auburn in the super regional round. Arizona, on the other hand, is 49th in team ERA (4.82) and 79th in total runs. Rather, the Wildcats got here through steely resolve. They were walloped 18-2 in their first super regional game versus North Carolina, then battled back for consecutive road wins by a combined three runs. Up next is Louisville and No. 8 Oregon State. The Cardinals stunned the country's top team, Vanderbilt, with a tense 3-2 regional upset on May 31. From there, they went to the brink with Miami (FL) and advanced off another 3-2 win last Sunday. Beavers outfielder Gavin Turley has a big bat, with a team-best 19 homers and some buzzing MLB draft hype. He's supplemented by Hawaiian shortstop and fellow big-league prospect Aiva Arquette. Saturday's bracket gets going with one-time tourney staple UCLA and insurgent Murray State. The Bruins have played five postseason games and won all five of them, in pursuit of their first national championship in more than a decade. John Savage led UCLA to College World Series play three times between 2010-2013, and he has finally returned off the strength of a great Big Ten debut. Murray State is in this position for the first time in program history. The mid-major Racers raced past Duke to reach this point, buoyed by Jonathan Hogart's two homers in the decisive third super regional game. We wrap up Saturday with Arkansas and LSU in the SEC, a usual World Series powerhouse. A record 13 conference members made this year's tournament, and eight earned national seeding. LSU won it all in 2023 and sits ninth in Division I with a 3.82 ERA this season. Southpaw Kade Anderson and junior RHP Anthony Eyanson are a formidable 1-2 rotation punch, and the Tigers have been getting plenty of supporting offense of late, averaging 10.5 runs per game in June. Arkansas is going for its first natty, with a school-record four All-Americans in tow. Shortstop Wehiwa Aloy is the SEC Player of the Year and a finalist for the Golden Spikes Award. Michigan State Football Lands Class of 2026 4-Star Prospect Collin Campbell

Michigan State Football Lands Class of 2026 4-Star Prospect Collin Campbell originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Michigan State football secured a significant commitment on Thursday and they landed their first Class of 2026 four-star prospect in offensive lineman Collin Campbell. Advertisement Campbell will bring a massive body and some massive talent to the trenches for the Spartans -- a 6-foot-7, 280-pound offensive tackle out of Gilbert, Ariz., Campbell is ranked as the third-best player in Arizona and the 34th-best offensive tackle in the nation in 247Sports' composite rankings. A Michigan State player's helmet sits on the sideline© David Reginek-Imagn Images 247Sports recruiting analyst Greg Biggins has given a full evaluation on Campbell, and highlighted athleticism and gritty style of play as positive attributes. "A plus athlete who can really get off the ball and has the kind of nastiness you have to have to excel in the trenches. A finisher who loves to bury his man into the ground and has the athleticism to get out on sweeps and pulls. No issues getting to the second level as a run blocker and shows the athleticism and lateral mobility to slide and mirror as a pass protector," he wrote. Advertisement The commitment comes after Campbell came to East Lansing on an official visit from May 30-June 1 -- Campbell left campus remembering why he began to fall in love with the program upon earlier unofficial visits, and was ready to make his commitment within just a couple of weeks. 'I had high expectations coming in…I needed to go back again and really see how much I liked it. I liked even better than I remembered," Campbell told On3. Michigan State was in competition with multiple other Big 10 programs for Campbell's services, including Washington, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, Northwestern, and UCLA. In the end, Campbell's decision came down to the Huskies and the Spartans, as well as Big 12 program Utah.
