
Woman taken to ECMC after being struck by car in Niagara Falls
A woman is being treated in the trauma unit at Erie County Medical Center after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Niagara Falls Friday night.
The Niagara Falls Police Department Crash Investigation Unit reports that the accident happened about 8:15 p.m. on the 2100 block of Hyde Park Boulevard.
A 2012 Buick operated by a 41-year-old Niagara Falls man was traveling south on Hyde Park Boulevard in the right hand lane when it struck the 30-year-old woman who was crossing from the east side of the street. She suffered severe head injuries and was transported by AMR ambulance to ECMC where she is currently being treated in the trauma ICU.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and is cooperating with police as they continue the review of the crash.

OAK GROVE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 42-year-old Wisconsin man was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital following a crash into a semi-truck on Friday morning. Coroner ID's man who died in pursuit with KCSO deputies
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner's Office identified a 27-year-old man who died in pursuit with the sheriff's office Tuesday night. Coroner officials said Jose Armando Ceja, 27, of Delano was the driver of a vehicle that collided with a wooden pole in the area of Road 180 and Avenue 4 around 9 p.m. Ceja was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office attempted to stop a white Buick Century for traffic violations in the area of Famoso Porterville Highway near County Line Road. A pursuit started and reached speeds of above 100 mph. The vehicle then collided with a wooden utility pole, according to officials with the highway patrol. Ceja was not wearing his seatbelt and he was ejected from the vehicle. Ceja allegedly threw objects out of the Buick, according to CHP. A gun and ammunition were found in the vehicle. High-speed pursuit suspect dies after crashing into utility pole east of Delano: CHP
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A pursuit suspect died after he was ejected from his vehicle, ending a pursuit that started in northern Kern County on Tuesday night, officials said. A Kern County sheriff's deputy tried to stop a Buick Century for traffic violations on Famoso Porterville Highway near County Line Road on June 10 at around 9:11 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said in a release. Officials said ammunition was found inside the vehicle. The driver will be identified at a later time.
