Lottie Ryan will appear on this week's Late Late Show to mark the 15th anniversary of her dad Gerry's death.
Tanaiste Simon Harris and Boyzlife stars Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden will also join host Patrick Kielty for this week's show. Lottie will conduct her first in-depth television interview about her beloved dad, Gerry, reflecting on his life and legacy.
She will also discuss losing him when she was just 23-years-old and share memories of their close bond and reflect on what it means to follow in his broadcasting footsteps. Meanwhile, Mr Harris will be in studio on Friday night to discuss some of the most pressing issues on the political agenda - from Ireland's stance on neutrality to the threat of trade wars.
Duffy and McFadden will join Patrick to look back on their extraordinary careers as members of Boyzone and Westlife respectively, as well as their new path in Boyzlife. They will also reveal what it was like being managed by Louis Walsh and navigating the music industry in their early twenties.
As the Grand Ole Opry marks its 100th anniversary, the show will also pay tribute to the legendary institution with a special performance from three of Ireland's brightest young country stars - Claudia Buckley, David James and Gerry Guthrie - singing a timeless country classic.
The Late Late Show airs at 9:35pm on Friday night on RTE One

Stephen Graham underwent 'scary' emergency operation while on plane
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Stephen Graham has opened up about the "scary" emergency operation he underwent while on a plane. Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the Adolescence actor spoke of a medical emergency that took place the last time he touched down in the States. After the host asked about his previous traumatic flight, Stephen responded by saying it was "a hell of an experience". He elaborated: "Look, I'm of a certain age, you know what I mean? You're a gentleman, like myself. I don't know; once you get over like 45, you tend to go to the toilet quite a lot of times." His storytelling made the crowd laugh and had viewers wondering where this story was going exactly. Graham went on to explain how many people opt to have a catheter fitted, which is something he himself had opted for. Ultimately, it was supposed to aid him in his bathroom habits, and he explained that after "three to four months", you should be experiencing "fewer trips to the toilet". Although the Netflix star found himself in a bit of an unusual situation on a flight 10,000 feet in the air when everything had been fine, right up until that point. He tells the late-night host about drinking water on the flight as usual, going to the toilet and suddenly not being able to pee. "I'm like, Oh, this doesn't feel right," he told Myers. "I knew I had to, and then silly Stephen thought, 'Oh, well, if I go back to my seat and I just keep drinking water, at some point it will happen.'" After going back to his seat and some time passing, he went back to the toilet and was shocked by what happened next. Graham said: "long story short, all of a sudden I went, but it was just pure blood," adding that it was "very scary". He further explained that he couldn't stop the sheer amount of blood and began to have a "slight panic attack". He admitted that the entire situation had made him quite emotional, but luck was on his side, as he remembers taking a selfie with a fan before the flight, who just happened to be a doctor. "He had another friend with him, who was a surgeon," the actor explained. "So I'm there, and I explain. He's like, 'Ok,' and the surgeon, Dr Haji, says, 'We can work this out.'" The entire area he was in was sterilised, and a catheter was pulled out of an emergency box. To put it bluntly, Graham said: "I drop my kecks, I get on the couch, and he performs a catheter operation there and then." And, once it was over and done with, the Adolescence star took a selfie with the doctors and crew on board to remember the moment. Liam Gallagher disappoints Oasis fans by claiming popular track won't make Croke Park shows
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Oasis followers are gobsmacked after Liam Gallagher dropped a bombshell that the iconic tune 'Acquiesce' won't feature in their upcoming 'Oasis Live '25 Tour' setlist. The frontman and lead guitarist Noel are gearing up for a monumental reunion, set to jam together for the first time in over a decade during Tuesday's rehearsals, before commencing their tour on July 4 in Cardiff. Dublin fans will get to see their heroes when the band play Croke Park on August 16 and 17. In a cheeky exchange with a fan on X, Liam teased: "Yes Rasta D I'm in Tuesday to blow there minds (sic)." Liam also appeared to share some songs the band will be playing at the upcoming reunion gigs, reports Bristol Live. He assured fans that 'Rock N Roll Star' is definitely "getting played". Yet it seems fan favourite 'Acquiesce' has not made the cut. One fan asked: "You gonna sing Acquiesce with Noel at the Heaton park gigs for us Liam?" But Liam disappointed them by answering: "That's not on the list, sorry." Fans were gutted, with reactions like: "You can't do this to us." Another pleaded: "Better get it sorted Liam be a lot of disappointed fans if that don't make the set. Wonderwall can do one." Still, it pays to remember that taking Liam's words on X should always be taken with a pinch of salt. 'Acquiesce' is a fan favourite which features a rare instance of Noel and Liam sharing lead vocals. Fans believe the track, which includes the refrain of "we need each other" would be a perfect fit for the group's first shows in 16 years. The legendary band called it quits back in 2009, following a heated row between the Gallaghers at Paris's Rock en Seine festival. Speaking shortly after the split, Noel said: "People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer." Yet, last year, the Gallagher brothers delighted fans by announcing Oasis' return after a 15-year hiatus. Their announcement on X read: "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised." Join our Dublin Live breaking news service on WhatsApp. Click this link to receive your daily dose of Dublin Live content.
