Butter yellow is arguably the biggest colour trend of not just last year but this year, too, and its pastel, buttery hue lends itself perfectly to spring/summer dressing., especially wedding guest dressing. And its just been approved by none other that Kate Middleton herself.
When it comes to timeless elegance with a modern twist, Princess Kate rarely misses. She knows just how to nail a trend without making it seem like a fad. And her recent appearance at The King's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in a gorgeous buttery yellow dress proved just that. Kate has confirmed that this hue is fast becoming the colour for spring and summer weddings. Forget bold brights or dusty pinks, this year, it's all about understated sunshine tones that feel fresh, fun and light.

This stylish midi from Nobody's Child features a flattering empire waistline, which can help to balance the silhouette and elongate the torso. The puff sleeves and feminine bow detail at the back add an extra touch of glam and drama to the simple dress shape.
What we love so much about this buttery dress is its versatility and how it's suitable for all occasions, from weddings to the races and a summer dinner party. To style this, try a pair of platform heels (if you're looking to add some extra height) or a pair of mules, along with some gold jewellery and a grab bag for an occasion-ready outfit.

If you want to channel Andie Anderson in 'How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days', this is the dress to do it in. Satin dresses are always on trend for weddings, and we love how the trendy halter neck makes it slightly different from some of the strappy or cowl neck slip dresses we see a lot of.
This is also a great option if you don't enjoy having your chest or decolletage out. At under £70, it definitely won't break the bank.
Available for £119 here
Prefer to keep your arms covered up? No problem, this Coast dress is more modest that some other wedding guest dresses around, you can even pin the neckline higher up if you want even more coverage. The elegant twist design at the front is so flattering and successfully conceals any lumps and bumps you may not want to be showing. While the full-length sleeves with a subtle flare help to elongate the arms and provide a beautiful shape.

We Tried The Lululemon Maxi Dress Everyone's Obsessed With – And Yes, It's Worth the Hype

What's the most fashion forward dress you can wear this summer? That viral Nobody's Child polka dot dress? A celeb-approved Dôen dress? Neither, actually, if the internet is to be believed. No, it would seem that the dress of the season is a maxi from Lululemon. You might be more familiar with Lululemon as the go-to spot for buttery soft Align leggings and athleisure sets that take you from Pilates to brunch with ease, but the activewear brand evidently has a few more tricks up its sleeve. The most recent addition that's calling our attention is the brand's 2-in-1 maxi dress. Unlike most dresses we wax lyrical about, the Lululemon 2-in-1 maxi is simple and largely devoid of intricate details and trendy patterns. Yet, it more than manages to justify its £128 price tag thanks to its genius versatile design. As the name suggests, the dress can be worn two ways: as a strapless drop-waist maxi, and as a long skirt with the bodice folded over. As well as offering an easy blank canvas that can be dressed up or down with ease, the maxi dress also benefits from the brand's activewear know-how and is crafted from its signature four-way stretch, sweat-wicking and naturally breathable fabric that feels luxe while keeping you comfortable and looks good on an array of body types. ©Instagram/@christinalasekstyling 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Green I could go on and on about how effortlessly elegant and wearable the Lululemon maxi dress is, but that's no use to you without some styling guidance, and the multi-wear dress presents an array of styling options. On our Instagram feeds, influencers are sporting the strapless dress with a raffia bag and wedge heels or suede sandals for a relaxed sunny day. Of course, you could also lean into the athleisure of it all and wear the dress with a denim jacket and chunky trainers or dress it up with kitten heels and plenty of gold jewellery. As a skirt, it'll work wonders with a baby tee and elevated flip flops on holiday, while a boho blouse and cowboy boots will put you in a festival state of mind no matter if you're heading to Glastonbury or not. The Lululemon website proclaims that the dress is 'voted most versatile', and if I'm being honest, we're inclined to agree. As with most viral hits, the 2-in-1 maxi is also selling out fast, so if you manage to find your size in stock, we suggest you skip the hesitation. Trust us, this is a dress you'll be wearing multiple ways for years to come. 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Black 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Brown 2-in-1 Maxi Dress in Ivory Main image credits: ©Instagram/@meg_legs @iamcarissarenee Hitanshi Kamdar is a senior commerce writer for Grazia. Top postcard print picks from New Look, Nobody's Child and more

Minimalist fashion fans, look away now, this trend it all about dopamine dressing, playful prints and bold colourways As a fashion writer, I've learned to spot a trend from a mile away, and this summer there's one print that's been dominating my social media, high street window shopping sessions and online scrolls. There's no denying that for SS25, it's all about postcard prints. What is the postcard print? Well, I'm glad you asked. This playful design is characterised vibrant boxes or stamp-shapes adorned with feel-good, summer emblems such as fruit, suns, shells, tiles, florals, palm trees, olives - it's the fashion equivalent of a picky tea of all your warm-weather favourites, packaged in the style of a retro holiday scrapbook. The combination of colour, cheerful prints and a healthy dose of nostalgia make this a real standout trend, and one that's incredibly wearable. That said, it's not a style movement for those who favour minimalism and neutrals, which is worth bearing in mind. However, who's not to say they won't be tempted by some of my top picks. I've picked out four of the best postcard printed pieces available now on the high street, from favourites like Joanie, Nobody's Child and New Look. From dreamy dresses to cool and casual co-ords, here are four picks that prove postcard print is this summer's hero trend. Joanie Ithaca Postcard Print Boilersuit – £79 The postcard print was practically made for Joanie's vintage-inspired designs, and their Ithaca boilersuit is an easy, one-and-done outfit that makes summer styling a breeze. Made from organic cotton with a soft stretch, it's tailored for all day comfort without sacrificing style. Coming in sizes 8-26, the one-piece boasts a classic collar and short sleeves with an all-over watercolour postcard print. But don't be fooled into believing this is only good for warm weather dressing, because I've seen many fashion enthusiasts layer these boilersuits over a long sleeve t-shirt or rollneck for a spring or autumn vibe. You might struggle to style the sunshine-y print in the depths of winter, though. The elasticated waist is a big bonus, making it a flattering fit for all body types, while the pockets make it as practical as it is pretty. Plus shoppers have been raving about it, with one commenting: 'Love this jumpsuit, the watercolour print is beautiful, the material is quality and it fits like a dream.' Another added: 'Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! The print is beautiful the size I went up a size otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get on and off as I'm big busted and a big girl. It look so gorgeous on and I can't wait to wear it out.' Nobody's Child Starlight Midi Dress – £110 For something a little less kitsch, Nobody's Child offers a more contemporary take on the trend with their bestselling design - the Starlight dress. Available in sizes 6-18, it wins wearers over with romantic puff sleeves, covered buttons and a waist panel that skims in all the right places. The low v-neck is super flattering, and it even has pockets, meaning it ticks all the boxes of a summer statement piece. While Nobody's Child's website doesn't have any reviews, we did find some at Simply Be and John Lewis, with one shopper commenting: 'I'm absolutely obsessed with this dress. It fits perfectly - I usually wear a size 14, but the size 12 is spot on! The material is ridiculously soft and feels amazing against my skin. Plus, the gorgeous fruit stamp design is just the perfect touch. I'm so in love with this purchase! Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could.' However, another added that the linen-heavy fabric, while ideal for the warm weather, is prone to creasing. They added: 'The dress is so different, in a good way, and the quality is fantastic. My only concern, which is my fault as I didn't read all of the description, is that there's a high content of linen which obviously makes the material very creased. Because there's so much dress, it'll be quite a chore to iron, or I could pay to get it professionally ironed, which would make it the dress that keeps on taking! Apart from that, it is a lovely, unusual dress which I'd definitely recommend.' New Look Cream Postcard Print Midi Dress – £34.99 As beautiful as the Nobody's Child dress is, there's no denying it carries a more premium price tag, as such, I've found a more affordable alternative in this New Look Cream Postcard Print Midi Dress for £34.99. Featuring tie detail at the neckline and flowy sleeves, it's decorated with a gorgeous postcard print. Coming in sizes 6-20, it's an easy piece to throw on and feel instantly pulled together. Its only review so far is five stars, with a happy customer praising its "flattering' fit, 'good length', and 'lovely light material." ASOS DESIGN Postcard Print Shirt and Trouser Co-ord – £24 (top), £26 (trousers) If dresses aren't your style, a co-ord is a super cool way to wear the trend, and ASOS is delivering all the chilled-out, coastal-grandpa vibes with this two-piece set. It comes in four sizes ranging from XS to L and is made from a lightweight linen-look fabric. The trousers offer a wide-leg silhouette and bloat-friendly drawstring waist, while the shirt's revere collar makes for a relaxed but put-together look. It's a really versatile two-piece that looks amazing worn together or split up. Perfect for packing light - or just looking like you did.
